  • Our second day at Cameron Highlands: Woke up early to go to BOH Tea Plantation for some breakfast and tea, we tried to reach there around 9am to avoid bad traffic. It was a cold and cloudy day, still perfect weather for a hot cup of tea and some cakes and pastries nevertheless.
Nest stop was Cactus Point Plant Nursery where they had plenty of plants, flowers and succulents for sale, then it was time for lunch at Tanah Rata where we found a gem of a small restaurant serving Chinese food! It was then the afternoon and we had scones and coffee at The Lord's Cafe, another favourite in Tanah Rata. Their scones and pies were so good and affordable, truly the best we could find in Cameron Highlands.
Evening was more eating at Brinchang when the traffic was better and we ended the day getting good bargains at the Pasar Malam or night market near the homestay.

Cameron highlands is not what it used to be....way too many farms up there but it's all we got. Thanks for taking us along.

I guess they have to improve the prevention of soil erosion as they build but this hasn't been done well. As a tourist destination it has lots of potential but the main problem is traffic congestion.

Thanks for sharing. Ya, the traffic is basically at grid lock especially during peak season and weekends. A 10KM journey can easily takes you at least 1.5 hours (from Tanah Rata to Sungai Palas Boh Tea viewpoint)

I would say, avoid driving from 10.30am to 3pm. Then you will be OK. For example, you can drive to BOH and Mossy Forest at around 10am then spend some time there and leave around 3pm, by the time you come to the main road, the jams are over hahaha

The way you present your You Tube videos would mainly focus on locals as they know what you are talking about. For people who live abroad will have no clue what you are talking about. I don't mean this in a bad way just to let you know your target audience. That said I enjoy you videos greatly. Just keep doing what you are doing. Be yourself....🙄

Hahaha I agree, also I speak with my native accent. My viewers so far are 90% from Malaysia and Singapore so I try to keep it local. But I should explain a bit better for my foreign audiences too. Thank you, your feedback is valid and appreciated! 😄
