Where to find chanterelle mushrooms? Most important thing is right time. In Finland, chanterelles can be found from the end of June to September. These mushrooms are typically growing in wooded area. They form a symbiotic relationship with the roots of pines and birches. That's why you should look for them near trees. I have noticed that chanterelles often grow near bodies of water. Trees that grow on the shores of lakes and rivers are really good places to look for them.
