Love the shoutout for Guy Pearce. One of my favourite actors. He should be winning the Best Supporting Actor Oscar imo. This is a tour de force performance from him. He absolutely deserves it! 👏
This and Anora are my favourite American movies this year hands down. I really don't mind if the film is slow paced and had a long running time as long as it will keep me emersed and mesmirized from star to finish and this film did that to me on whole another level. Its a beautiful piece of art that's what i would described The Brutalist as a movie. I'm just so happy that i experienced it so much. Adrien Brody you better get your second Oscar after The Pianist okay? You fully deserved it. But for Best Picture i want either this and Anora to win.
If I didn't know going in what the run time was, I would've been shocked walking out if you told me it was almost three hours. Flew by. Curious that they're apparently having issues trying not to get an NC-17 rating. Don't think it warrants one at all. Thanks for watching, as always!
I was late to the party on Vox Lux, having just watched it earlier this year. I loved it. Extremely disturbing and a great example of a horror movie without killer clowns or chainsaws.
As long as it is, and as much as I did like one particular aspect of the ending, the ending does hastily come together like it overslept. That's just on my first watch. I look forward to seeing it again to see if my thoughts change. Thanks for the comment, as always!

Thanks for watching! Personally, I don't think the Oscars hold a lot of worth, but any and all praise he gets for the movie is deserved.
One of the best reviews I’ve seen on this platform, I’m most definitely subscribing. Can’t wait to see this film.
Happy to have you! Make yourself at home.

Thanks for the review! I'm really looking forward to seeing it. Btw, what did you think of Vox Lux?

Do you think it was long enough to wrap up the story?
