I'll help... at around 3:38 you stuck the battery bag firmly to the inner heel of the neck inside the guitar. I found that placing the wooden pickup in the soundhole of my Orangewood Concert Auditorium size guitar was a very tight fit, thought I'd maybe chip the wood but luckily didn't. I found from the volume dial off and then turning up volume comes from nothing to ..boom.. on full almost all at once, no gradient or sensitivity. I found the microphone sound so tinny and bad but you need at least some of it to offset the very dull or bassy sound of the humbucker. I was looking for another microphone as replacement, the same 3.5mm plugin mono (not TRS) to replace this obviously extremely cheaply manufactured microphone. Maybe trying the Allen wrench on each string adjustment will help with tone. It seems to overload and cause some distortion going directly to PA or maybe I need to experiment with adjustments. Using this with a good acoustic amp maybe is the only other real solution for clear acoustic tone, or a really good preamp. Thank you for posting this up almost no one does for this model.
I just got one and wondered the same. That little plug that comes with it goes into the mic jack and it’s actually a mini mic that picks up tones and ambience from the guitar that the humbucker doesn’t grab. Regulate the volume on it to avoid feedback. Hope that helps, bro!

what is the "in" for? I've never seen a pickup with a mic jack.
