That was a perfect informative video. Helped me alot with the FFS. Im swapping a p pump engine into my 1st gen and wanted to just turn the key and it starts.,
Thanks, Eric, for another informative video! Man, nice job under the hood! Look's like Christmas 🎄 😍 to me! That timing cover! intercooler lines, p-pump, just a beautiful job! #signmeup #I'lldriveout
I didn't catch the fan belt nunber for the fan and a/c delete. If you have that handy I'd liek to know that. Thabks for all the cool content on here and IG!
👍👍Im hoping to do this swap , hopefully in the near future, need to purchase some lines,as I don't feel like rebending 44 lines and I have nothing to aide in comparing...but ,my question is,how are .093 size lines on the street?.. the truck isn't gonna b highly modified and is a daily driver.. I've heard larger than .078 don't behave nicely..the reason i ask,is there's a set I could get my hands on,not far for a decent price, off marketplace...if .093 aren't nice to drive i won't bother, perhaps is why they're still for sale..but anyway , sorry for rambling..thanks for the video 👍👍👊
Don’t get .093 unless your gonna be running a race truck, as from what you said they will be terrible, if you looking for just close to “stock” then I think .078 is more then fine
I haven’t but my friend who has a channel called “Cutterup” has and I think he’ll be releasing some videos on it, Basically it’s the same swap as the p pump swap as far as the gear case goes, with the VE pump you can use the VP44 injection lines but you need a timesert thread adaptor to convert the VE delivery valves to the VP thread (I think it’s like m12 to m14?)
Originally a felpro stock style HG with the exotic studs and a O-ringed head, that blew in short notice partly due to the o-ring protrusion being set the wrong depth, another part being the exotic studs couldn’t hold the mondo torque this compound set made. Then it went to a MLX gasket and 625 studs
The idea behind it is to make sure the front plungers in the injection pump receive fuel, idk how much it makes a difference but Kris got it. Usually I take out the factory heli-coil and run a solid -12 feed straight to the pump
Head was O-ringed, ended up being set for common rail O ring protrusion (4-6 thou) instead of conventional gasket (10-14 thou) so the HG blew and got switched to a MLX gasket. Headstuds are Exotic, later switched to 625s with the MLX gasket
Once again very well informative video. My truck is already p pump swapped but it’s good seeing what’s all involved.
Doing a 12v swap, from a 24v.
I came here to mark 13:00 so I can come back to this comment and know what wires to use. Good information!

Are we gonna see the final video??

Noticed the split fuel feed. Smart move.
The jury is out as to how much it actually helps, but it’s cheap and looks cool so why not I figure!

Are we getting another video on the ppump 24v ?
Just released! Sorry for the delay, stay tuned for the p pump 24v 6.7 series!

Have you ever put a ve pump on a 24v

did you change the fass out for a 12valve fass or leave the vp 44 one on it
what head gasket did you use?

why the duel fuel inlet ?

Did u oring the head and head bolts u use?
