Gregor the bread was so nice I cannot explain. It had been a while since I had it warm and fresh, lucky it wasn't a huge loaf otherwise I was in trouble😅
Honestly, I've not had bread in a while, and not hot with butter, nor home made, it was soo so nice. Lucky it was mini otherwise I would of eatena whole loaf. Cheers.
Jason it's been that long since I had hot fresh bread and butter that I was counting my blessings that it was so small, a whole loaf and that would of been trouble lol. Cooking it that size is quicker but more prone to burning so i was pleased with the end result, cheers bud
Ha Ha, I actually thought about that, or even having the shadow of a witch or something, maybe I should try find some recipe too, it is actually awesome as is your comment, thanks for the kind words, cheers Chris
Hello there, they come in different sizes and that being the smallest one, I thought it perfect for a one pot cook for one person, in fact I still have some stew left. Quick to heat up and easy to use. thanks for watching and the comment, cheers Chris
Hello, theres a farm shop about an hour away in a place called St Andrews, I got it from there. Probably you could get them online? Really handy and usefull, thanks for watching, cheers Chris
Awesome Chris. I was gonna ask if you had an ingredients list for that stew and there it was at the end of the video! I like that cauldron, very cool. The pot you baked the bread in is that a mini cast iron pot? It's very cool, any idea where I could get something like that? Cheers mate, hope you are well
Cheers Zeb. I bought that mini cast iron pot from amazon. I'm a dunce because I thought it was a Dutch oven when I bought it many years ago lol. No wonder it was cheap.!. The 1st two videos of yours for your major walk inspired me to do a walking challenge for the month. With the miles and work time has been limited. That said the challenge is complete so I'll catch up very soon on your epic journey, but it was your fault I haven't watched them all ha ha because I thought I gotta go do something here. Good inspiring stuff mate, all the best, Chris
@@northernembersoutdoors1045 The pot is called a Potjie pot to make potjiekos , its a traditional Afrikaner cooking pot. Its interesting to note that the rings on the pot tell you how many people it can feed. You just count how many rings and multiply that by the number on top.
Hi, when I bought this I didn't know what a potjie was. I was told something to do with rings and that equates to serving. This one has 3 rings on it but couldn't say that it would serve thrre. Two easily though, Cheers Chris
Hello there, ha ha, a Turkey wrap does indeed sound nice...but without the carrot😂. But it also sounds healthy so it's for the best, hope these words see you keeping well, thanks for watching, Chris😎🎈
A compact fresh cooked meal. The tiny loaf was awesome. Nice one Chris.

Paprika, my favourite. Very nice with lemon juice over baked crispy chicken
Hey buddy, your on😃😃, I will try that, crispy chicken as in fried, or crispy skin?
@@northernembersoutdoors1045 Crispy skin, or as crispy as it can get baked/roasted then grilled to crisp up the skin. My fav bro.
Now that looked lovely. You just forgot to say Hubble double toil and trouble when stirring the cauldron. Thanks for that. Cheers, Ian
