If only just to listen to for yourself in relation to this George Michael song "One More Try." Check out George's version of (One More Try LIVE @The Concert For Hope 1993) IMO that performance is George at his best, no doubt. +Peace, Funk & Rock n' Roll 4 Your Soul My Friend+ 🤘😜🤘
This man was a treasure. Such a beautiful and simultaneously gut wrenching song. He made you feel every bit of emotion he was giving. RIP George 🕊️🕊️🕊️
George Michael was the best male vocalist ever. It's a shame to people who don't know his incredible songs like this, "One More Try", "Jesus To a Child", and so many many more, he has so many amazing songs, his vocal ability was unmatched and incredible, when he sang live, it was the same, unbelievably amazing. It's a shame that so many people only know "Careless Whisper", or "Faith", or the music from his Wham days. His voice and music is incredible, if you listen to more of his music after that time period. Whitney Houston was the greatest female vocalist ever, and George Michael was the greatest male vocalist ever. I've been such a big fan of his for decades. Both phenomenal God given voices and talent. ❤❤❤
Wham songs are not cheesy at all. They are a product of their time and lyric wise still mature. George was not even 19 when he started with Wham and still wrote all the music himself.
The radio stations I listen to in my city mostly play Wake Me Up . . . , Careless Whisper, and maybe one or two others only. Just like many top artists, he has a deep, deep library, but perhaps only a few are available for the stations. I don't know.
Very, very emotional song. It’s incredible he’s not here any longer. He really was hurting during his time on earth, bless his soul. His art will always live on. 🙏 Wonderful reaction Jack. ❤
As you said George's music can fit many, many moods (in the same song). George's music hits your heart whether It's a sad song, a love song, or a let's get up & dance song. There's no one that measures up to George & there will never be! His writing ability, his voice, his amotion, his butt cheeks, (his dancing) George did It all my Friend. My suggestion is to listen without having to react. Let George take you to the place you need to go. This is George's Magic! You still have a lifetime, where George will affect your heart & everything in between! You only have 30+ years to catch up with. Were do I or anyone start with a suggestion to George? Especially when (in my opinion) every single song whether It's his, another artist's, collaboration, in concert, or even his recording sessions. IT'S PERFECTION! A JOY! My starting suggestion will be, FREEDOM 90 (MTV Aniversary Special) This one is the only time he did this type of performance & It gives you an exceptional view & sounds, unlike any take I've ever seen. I hope you continue on your journey with George. He never disappoints! LOL, BK 😄😎🎶with 💖 & 🕺💃💞🎶🎶🎶
I never cared much for George Michael thinking he was just that guy from Wham, but that all changed when i heard him SANG at the Mandela Tribute @ Wembley in 1988
When he was on the charts when I was a kid it was another one of those superstars who'd always have a hit on the charts in the 80s. (MJ, Madonna, Prince, Whitney Houston and George Michae) I truly loved and felt his music much later. This vocal performance has to be up there in his list of best. Kissing a fool as well.
Wow....Everytime I hear this song I remember I was listening to this in the car when my Mom told us our Great Grandmother passed. I was in high school. A classmate was killed in a car accident around the same time. It makes me cry, but I still love it.
Love your reaction. You were FEELING those lyrics and the emotions. It's an incredible song and George was an amazing artist that we lost far too soon.
I had the honor of seeing this incredible artist perform back in 2008 in Atlanta at the Phillips arena. Even after all these years I still remember what an incredible show that he put on. Hard to find the words to describe just how great he was.
George was simply one of the best songwriters and vocalists of his generation. While other singers merely sang other peoples songs, George wrote and sang hit after hit of his own. What a talent!
That last note 🎼 says it all-the way He sings “try”! I roll back my tapes multi times just to relisten to that one note-it draws me so intensively❤! RIP George Michelle you are truly missed and loved 🥰!
No-one else, not even Mariah Carey, could cover this song and make it work as the lyrics are intensely personal. If I'm not mistaken, this single followed Father Figure, where he casts himself in the paternal role, whereas in this one he's the exact opposite. If you play these two songs one after the other and listen to the words, you'll experience all the complexities of love.
One of George's finest ... I ALWAYS get goose-bumps when I hear this ... Love the simple instrumentation, the organ music, and of course, George's divine vocal ... yes Jack, do check out the music video, its well worth it ...
Very good request Dana. I love this song, it's very dear to me. Thank you for requesting it. I love George Michael's voice & those lyrics yall, oh my. Very good reaction Jack.💔.
Do yourself an enormous favor and check out his live version of this song from the Prince’s Trust Concert in 1993. It is pure gospel, heavy up on his backup singers, and the absolute best version of this song.
This song is just vocal PERFECTION. And the song and video match so beautifully together - I'm sad you weren't able to watch them together. But very glad you found this little GEM. Praying for Time is another beautifully emotional song that George just shines on. Would love to hear your thoughts on it. Cheers from Canada! :)
I've seen this live and it sounds the same i adore him and the song he is a genius and that voice , to me there is no one else like him he can sing anything ❤
Perfekt wie eigentlich alles was er machte. Man ist im Himmel wenn man seine Stimme und Texte hört. Unbedingt die Live Auftritte ansehen, mit perfekten Backup Singers und Band. MTV Unplugged, Women of the Year oder Concert of Hope 1993, Genial ist "Jesus to a child" Berlin Awards 1994, da wären noch so viele George wir vermissen dich
This was kind of dark song but a big hit. I was in high school and did not grasp the gravity of the lyrics until I was older. But this was on repeat constantly ❤
Chills on chills. I'm always here for some GM on the channel. "One More Try" is the fourth single from George's debut solo album, Faith (1987); it hit #1 on the Hot 100 (his sixth!) as well as on the Hot Black Singles and Hot Adult Contemporary charts. Please react to George Michael - "Father Figure" and "Freedom! '90."

Hey Jack, I believe my reaction was looked over accidently. I sent it maybe a month or more ago. I'm not too sure what happened. Once again, it's boys to men " Doing just fine". Please check again. Thank you😊
Even though it was #1 (Billboard Hot 100 US), I don’t remember hearing it on the radio like I Want Your Sex, Faith, and Father Figure (all from his ‘87 album, Faith). I didn’t and still don’t care for the song, despite its message and his amazing voice and songwriting skills. There’s a plodding quality to its beat., which could very well have been intentional, considering the lyrics. The Wham documentary on Netflix is surprisingly moving. Highly recommended!
How many more analysts does George have? and why? No need to analyze him! You have to listen to him and love him, anyway, his looks, his voice, his songs and everything are perfect. It's as good as it is!
Those who were hits in US are good too, but yes, you are right, much more fantastic albums were released after he decided not play by the big American Media corps and was cut from US.

This song is fire 36 years after its release.
Oh, that made me feel old lol
George was a pure diamond, you can't replicate that even with nowadays modern technology.
Absolutely one of George Michael's best vocal performances ever.
100% 💎
Facts!
He said he wrote and recored this sond in a matter of eight hours. He was such a genius
Brilliant songwriting and musical arrangement.
The emotional precursor to this song is "A Different Corner." George's range, emotional and vocal, is unparalleled.
One of my two all time favorites. Him and Luis Miguel are at the top of my list. Always have been and always will be. This is my favorite song of his.
George Michael strokes your heart with his voice. RIP George.

#1 on the R&B chart in 1988. 👏🏾 This, “Father Figure” and “Kissing A Fool” were my favorites from the _FAITH_ album. ✌🏽
Kissing a Fool. ❤❤❤
"A Different Corner"...emotionally mesmerizing.
A MEGA classic ❤❤
When Geoge passed way I cried a lot, he was one of the best. Thanx for this reaction.
Im sorry you cant see the viseo cause its so good. He sings with so much passion.

One of the best vocalists. He is so missed
He will never ever be Duplicated.
My fave GM song. I knew you’d appreciate this one. Not romantic but yet all about romance-so emotional, so painful, so beautiful.

for super church vibes, check out George's rendition of Stevie Wonder's "They Wont Go When I Go" off George's Listen Without Prejudice album.

My Baby, George Michael! So glad I got to see him during his last North American tour before he died.
Great 80's song from a great singer.
This is one of the top slow dance of my high school era...

My favorite George Michael song 💓💓💓💓
Jack looks likes this one hit home with you for a bit there bro. You're hands down the best reactor out there 👊🏽
I thought he was going to shed one for a second! 😢
I've loved this song since the 80s! I've heard George said it's one of his most personal songs.

Stunning song, and the version he sung at “Concern of hope” was another level!

Great reaction to a great talent! ❤

Nice one!
React to "Fastlove" from George Michael please. This song is a banger and my all-time favourite song since day it was released back in 1996

My Suggestion is, THIS IS NOT REAL LOVE. 😁😎🎶🎶🎶💖
This song is a gem and classic. George Michael is one of the greats. However, someone explain to me why would one play this song at a wedding?
The wedding song- Pachelbel’s Canon
This is a classic. Mariah Carey covered it in 2014.
A girl group called Divine covered it in the 90s. Their music was just recently released to streaming.
You should check out their covers
Sorry I love Mariah as a artist but she’s
not George Michael.
I sang the Divine version at a talent show in college, LOL. Nothing compares to the original, of course, but theirs was solid, IMO.
My absolute favorite from him. Have you reacted to Mariah Carey’s Can’t Let Go? The opening notes reminded me of this.
Hey Jack, I believe my reaction was looked over accidently. I sent it maybe a month or more ago. I'm not too sure what happened. Once again, it's boys to men " Doing just fine". Please check again. Thank you😊
Just curious: you made the same request on Streamlabs, right?

Don’t react to George based on his biggest singles in the USA. George had great songs on other albums that weren’t massive hits.
