All over a cell phone? Either there is more missing from this story than I thought or the bus driver was being petty and childish. There are a lot of petty, bitter, power-hungry adults in the school system, especially these days.
It's because one girl was like an hour or so late to drop off so the mom called her to see what was going on. The child answered and the bus driver pulled over and demanded the girls phone
I remember my bus driver turned the bus around and took us BACK to the school over an empty water bottle. The thing that pisses me off is that she said “I don’t have time for this I have kids at home”. THEN SHUT UP AND TAKE US BACK HOME DUMBASS 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Bus drivers are not allowed to discipline misbehaving students. If they get too loud to where the driver is distracted from safely operating the 13 ton bus, they are supposed to stop & call in. Opening the service door exposes the kids to the dangers outside. The driver does not necessarily know who is telling them which child is theirs & does not want to be responsible for the disappearance of a child.
@@itsruf1how about listen to the audio that a child recorded. That shit was quiet she did this because a kid called her parent and she told them no to.
I would have ripped the door off that bus and sued the district and pressed kidnapping charges on the driver. She was power tripping. People need to do their research before attempting to defend this driver.
Just because a child will not give you their phone doesn’t mean you lock them in there? 40 GOSH DAMN MINUTES in that hot bus. That bus driver is SICK! Glad they left.
@@elallen4399The wind going through the window could’ve provided some amount of relief. Even then, the ride could’ve been short and the children would’ve experienced the heat for a much shorter duration of time.
Well now days are a lot different. How many teachers can you recall having sex with students? My guess is none right? Pls don’t be one of those “do whatever an adult says” because adults don’t always have your best intentions 😊
You know, schools are a lot different with discipline than they were when you were a kid 💀 being one of those “if an adult tells you to do something shut up and do it” makes you seem like a doormat
There was audio recorded by a child hiding their phone. The bus was quiet. The driver was power tripping because she told one of the kids not to call their mom and they did and she wouldnt give the driver her phone. Thats what caused this not bad children but a shitty adult power tripping on some elementary school kids
I believe it. There are a lot of bitter, petty, power-hungry adults in the school system, especially these days. It's sad that a lot of people in this comment section assume the children were wrong and at fault. Even of they were, the bus driver is the adult and thus should be the bigger person. No child deserves to be held hostage on a hot bus, especially at their stop in front of their parents. That's just wrong. Adults like that make me glad I am not a kid anymore, at their mercy for hours. And I was one of the good, quiet kids.
@@CaptainJess1994I wouldn’t leave my cat in a hot car for 40 minutes this person did that to children and some seemed to be like 9-10 years old. Since when it’s forbidden to use a phone inside a school bus on top to call a parent. For what I see in the comment section this is normal in America because people defend the driver where I live this is a crime and I’m shocked she only get a leave.
She probably just called her to tell her why she was late, just to keep her from worrying. I see nothing wrong with that. It's a bus, not an airplane. And it's okay to talk on the phone if you're not the one driving.
Bro just becuase *a kid* won’t give you there *phone* doesn’t mean you can just *lock EVERYONE* in there in the *SCORCHING hot weather!* This is outrageous! That bus driver should go to *jail.* That whole thing happened over a *stupid phone* , it doesn’t even matter, screw that bus driver!
those buses have A/C . this isn't the 80s-90s. it wasn't until post 1995 is when we started seeing A/C on school buses, and i recognize that bus model. IT 1000% HAS A/C. pause it at 0:53 there is an A/C vent CLEARLY in sight. its not Hot or Scorching. relax. the windows are down because they're crying to the mothers outside. if its hot in the bus, it's their own damn fault for letting the Cool air out. anyway. those kids are fine. They are just all being cry babies. There's more to this story. so don't go assuming the worst right off the bat.
I feel like we're missing a huge piece of the story. Where was the bus when it pulled over? Is the driver allowed to let kids off at stops other than their own? Were other behaviors happening beside the one kid who wouldn't turn over the phone? Was the driver waiting for back up from the school and the school kept telling them to wait? Were the parents on the sidewalk escalating the situation? Idk I have so many questions. This video is very unsettling.
This happened on my bus. We had pulled over for an hour over someone yelling. And “throwing a ball”. He just sat there and called security while ppl on the bus were crying including me. Many ppl had places to be as well. So I took my friends phone and called my mom. She came and other ppls parents came and picked kids up. I will never forget that. I am so glad that these kids were able to get off by their parents.
Whether the bus driver is right or wrong in this case, there definitely needs to be a custody authentication system in place, it could be as simple as a book of names of parents of children for the particular bus and checking IDs. But the standard procedure seems to be lock everyone out. This kind of lockout of parents happens all the time and it needs to change.
you don't know anything about being a school district bus driver. Those kids are fine.. them crawling out the windows and being pulled out by other parents is NOT going to go well for ANYone. Opening the service door exposes the kids to the dangers outside. The kids were probably being WAY too rowdy, so the Bus Driver, more than likely, had to pull over, call it in, and wait for a supervisor to show up. School Disctrict PD, or whoever is dispatched to the bus. The driver does not want to be responsible for the disappearance of a child. And the parents OUTSIDE are 1000% making it worse, and inciting fear into the children, not reassurance. "Lord PLease help these babies fine their parents" what the actual hell lmfao God isn't going to help anyone in this situation. He's looking down and laughing at this mess.
During my bus riding years, we had some of the most disrespectful demon acting children. I dreaded riding with such students. The horse playing, fighting, and talking back to the driver remained on a distractive and disruptive level. Concentration for the driver is important. Our bus driver would often pull over. She would sit in silence. Give us all a look from the rearview mirror. We would shut the hell up so she would get us home. The only difference today...cell phones. During my days, if the disrespectful kids had a phone, they would have been giving their mothers an entirely different story about our constant pull overs. I understand the children's panicking, screams, and tears in this vid. I also understand what their bus driver was doing. Why? Because I experienced the need for a pullover more than once. There was a time driver's could turn the bus around and refurn the disobedient child(ren) to principal. Yes, that too affected us good kids. We would have to sit patiently in hot weather as the matter was resolved.
@@lady4191 What an insightful, concise, and well thought out comment. The mind boggles at the solutions to life you have yet to bestow humanity with... I believe the point of the previous comment was that the tools to "deal" with unruly children have been removed from bus drivers. Nor was OP claiming to have been a bus driver, but a rider.
If you cant deal with kids naturally wanting to socialize with their friends knowing damn well you did the same thing as a kid, dont become a bus driver. You also shouldnt trap kids who did nothing wrong inside a hot ass bus in hot ass weather. All you sound like is a mf who doesnt care if everyone gets punished because of one dumbass. TL;DR: it doesnt make sense to punish everyone for something a bad kid did
It would be one thing to do this with high schoolers but there were kindergartners on this bus, you don’t keep 5 years olds hostage because some kid won’t hand their phone over. You report it to their principal, and they will take the proper disciplinary actions. This driver should be fired and maybe even charged with endangering these kids, and if it was all for the sake of “policy” then whoever owns that policy should be held accountable.
How many times have you driven a bus loaded with young children? How about with children creating an unsafe environment and hazardous distraction? Would you want your children's bus driver attempt to drive with unruly passengers or pull over safely? If the driver had to pull over...would you want them to open the door and let your child off at an unplanned destination? There should be cameras on those busses and all students that are unruly, suspended. Then watch their mommies cry...
@@FVWhimsy2010How is one kid refusing to give their phone an unsafe environment? Exactly, it’s not. And kids wanting to talk to their parents isnt dangerous
If the bus driver did this at my high school my dad is going to come and try to storm into the bus 💀 I also would hate getting punished for some dumb kids actions
This is literally my Neighborhood I’m in the 6th grade and I rode this bus last year that was not the same bus driver I had that year Lord help those kids 😢
This happened to me in the 4th grade. It was a girl bus driver “watching” our usual bus driver. On normal days all the kids would be able to get off the bus without any troubles… not that day. At the first stop was a third grader and some second graders. They all walk together because their house was right in front of the bus stop. (Btw all of the kids were my friends.) then the girl bus driver started screaming at them because they weren’t allowed to walk 10 steps to their house. So when she started to scream at them it triggered most kids (including me) to start crying. One of my friend’s neighbors heard what was happening and went to go see what was going on. When he found out what was happening he started cursing, yelling, etc which did not help a lot. Fortunately most of the eighth graders had phones so they dialed the kids parents and the parents got there in no time. The eighth graders called about 10 parents to come and get their children. After those kids got off most of the eighth graders ran off with some of the kids on the bus to go and bring them home (all of the kids got home safely!) I went to the principals office to go tell on the bus driver and she got…FIRED! And if you are reading this sentence like this comment!!! Ty
Some, maybe most, of these parents consider school only as a free babysitting service. They let little Johnny and Jane run buck wild then they send them to school. When the faculty and ancillary staff attempt to maintain control then they want to be on the news bawling and crying. Pathetic. Start parenting your children responsibly and stop expecting other people to do it for you. Step up and do YOUR job. I said what I said and don’t gaf who doesn’t like it.
you are spot on!!! I drive a school but. There is no eating for a good reason 1) we have no idea who might be allergic to whatever is opened-such as peanuts 2) if they start choking I as the driver have no idea this is happening and can not hear anything because the kids never shut up. They are very loud and feel initialed to do what they want. That makes it very unsafe for your kids-PLEASE teach them to obey rules. They are there for the safety of ALL the students on the bus. They will be home soon enough and can go hog wild the minute they step off the bus. Thank you.
"Grubbs says her daughter told her the driver pulled over and refused to drive after asking a student to give the driver her phone and the student refused." This was over a cellphone
Today is special because the time change bye 60 minutes makes the kids not miss there school bus the sun shining in the morning and the parents get that necessarily extra time the kids are at school for work 😊 🎉 .
No way a bus driver can allow any student to be taken off bus in case it is not a guardian or parent. The bus driver is supposed to call in and tell what is happening plus call police. Then parents are allowed to take their the student or students. Since this is over a cell phone, yes, she should be fired. And I will add it was not any ones fault but the mom's for allowing her child to wear fleece pajamas to school or any place during a major heat wave of 114 that day! Could have been other material. That is on the mom!
We all want our kids to be safe on their buses. But parents please teach your kids manners that they should follow rules/behaviors on their school bus. That will distract the bus driver and cause accidents. Now because of your kids bad behaviors towards the bus drivers they are leaving the jobs and there will be no more bus drivers to take them to school, so now it is left on the parents to take them to schools. Not all parents can afford that luxury and time.
MS buses don’t have air conditioning? Maybe kids shouldn’t be riding them at all. Maybe parents should just take their kids to school. I will say my kids know better than to scream like that on their school bus. They also know to follow bus rules and move seats away from trouble makers.
Not all of them on the bus were being bad they were kept there because of one kid and plus alot were crying probably because they didn't do anything wrong
the bus driver was my 2nd grade to 5th grade bus driver I saw the face of the driver that was not a substitute it was the original driver thank god I graduated this school before it happened I'm now a 6th grader she was really hateful to me and my autistic brother and he is semi verbal and wont understand what someone is saying or understanding the situation she snatched my phone and really hurt my arm in the process of doing that which resulted in me calling the police on her and her bus aid we called the police 3 times on her for her actions and obviously she did not learn her lesson for how she should be treating 7-10 year olds and the fact that the school was Pleasant Hill ELEMENTARY school made my stomach go upside down and watching this video hurt my heart.
The bus driver never had the right to try and force the kid to give up their phone. The only I can think of where a bus driver would have the right to take the phone was if the phone was distracting the driver and preventing them from doing their job properly and therefore putting the kids at risk. This did not happen and it was completely unnecessary and unacceptable for the bus driver to do this. They should lose their job
True bit today is also special because the 60 minute time change in the morning allows the parents to be more awake the kids to be up during the sun rise and the extra 60 minutes not taking from work so today is all good 😊 .
Agree. However I do feel bad for the original bus driver, who was probably sick or had some important thing preventing them from going to work safely, causing this maniac to sub in
I understand that the bus driver must've been super frustrated with the students because kids can be very stubborn and disrespectful. *BUT* ! That does not excuse trapping children on the bus in the middle of nowhere and scare them to death. The bus driver should've called the school or somethin. Not trap the kids on the bus!
Do y’all even know that she did what her boss told her to do as every driver is told the same . Grubbs should be happy she didn’t open the door . Maybe kids need to mind ! Then they’ll be safe . That mom who caught this is so tearful & bless her hearty , she is too busy to go to the school and pick her own child up . So the driver is now a stranger. This is way out there about truth. Did the know who’s kid wouldn’t put her cell phone up even read bus rules ? NO! She put it off on someone else to get their child home . If the kid acts up, then protocol . If you can’t go by the laws , homeschool your kids or get your butts in a car & drive them ! Don’t put a driver down Read what’s on the steps NO TRESPASSING ! And each parent did just that ! If that child had bn obedient instead of saying she on the phone w her momma . Well momma ain’t driving her child & im sure as she has acted out, she breaks the law every chance she gets & then your kid is put on a bus sitting in the hot sun bc of that child . Fact , 2 kids got in a fight, she pulled over . Then the child w phone had to act up also. Nobody wants to drive those brats around ! I wouldn’t ! And if I had a mother act the way y’all have .. I would hope you opened your eyes to this situation . There’s another side & that bus has video ! Not js the little clips y’all get for your 2 min hall of fame .. Hey I’m on the news lol Y’all insane

That bus driver should be fired for that! Not any kind of bus driver has the right to take away phones. At my school, we are allowed to have phones on the busses but not during class.
I looked at this video and I first thought "I've seen this before..." then I saw "3 weeks ago" and then I realized that this is a different incident. More children are being trapped on the bus... There was always a respect level for bus drivers when i went to school of course kids are loud but talking back and being disrespectful was a no no thats still an adult and when you have unruly children who wont be disciplined its very difficult for tue driver there has to be some authority and line drawn in the sand somewhere

People at my school use phones all the time on the bus and they don’t get in trouble. Although I didn’t ride the bus, I rode the bus for field trips tho, but not driving home. And that never happened to me when I was on the bus for field trips.
A poor child.. screaming "Help me"... That bus driver has NO RIGHT to stop there for 40 MINUTES. THESE CHILDREN DESERVE BETTER! I hope that bus driver got fired. I really do.
The emergency exit & windows(4on that type of school bus) set off an alarm when opened. I had a middle school kid thought he was being sneaky & open the emergency window to dump his cigarettes. Every time the alarm went off,I'd check the mirrors & pull over to tell him to stop opening the window. Of course he'd deny it but I'd point to the ashes on the floor & ask him who'd been smoking in his seat since the high school kid who'd sat there earlier that afternoon had left nothing behind that was found in the post trip inspection before i started picking up for the next route.
Why is it that what an Uber driver would be put in jail for, a bus driver gets administrative leave for...I'm confused. Kidnapping and holding children hostage is a crime punishable by law...no???
that was probably terrifying for the children. so many kids crying, screaming, and moving uncontrollably all at once would make me have a panic attack at that age.
This is why my children have never ridden a bus 🚌. Not exposing my children to that mad house and i have no idea how other people decide to raise their children. Yeah, better to avoid that bit altogether. 😮😮😮😮
Best not to expose them to the Satanic NWO school system at all. If they decide to lock down your kids due to some perceived danger, they might keep them much longer than you want them to.
People are really getting brave with how they are treating and what they are teaching OTHER PEOPLES kids these days... they shoulda stormed that bus tied up that driver and locked her In the bus
But that would never happen because apparently these people have real good luck and only ever get the "OMG LET THEM OUT" type and not the type to shoot your door down and drag you on the road surface
So the bus driver followed policy and got put on leave but if the bus driver lets the kids out she gets fired immediately for breaking protocol No pun intended, but looks like the school district threw her “under the bus”
💯% agree the school should have went live asap with fact that the driver was following protocol!!! they threw her under the bus and probably causing her all kinds of grief and Lord knows what else by not coming forward ASAP!!! That driver needs MANY APOLOGIES!!!
How can you observe something you didn't even see & make a conclusion based on a 2nd hand account? It was only mentioned. You didn't see anything. What was on the phone that the bus driver wanted it so bad? Kids can have their phones.
People saying in this comment section saying “kids are dramatic…it was 40 minutes.” ON A HOT DAY?? Unbelievable and all of this just because a kid wouldn’t give her phone to the bus driver because she was on the phone with her mom,and as well what if a kid had anxiety and claustrophobic? If a kid had a panic attack they could have a SEZUIRE. What costs the bus driver but not even the bus driver. The school MASSIVE CHARGES AND MASSIVE TIME IN JAIL.
Come on people....I had a bus driver in High school that was rather large. So she would let us know if you acting a fool you get one warning. Then she said remember you have to walk by me to get off this bus and I keep my yard stick ..all 3ft of it right here and I'll light up those legs when you exit. So guess what we never had a first warning because we listened. Anyway, if we would have been in trouble with a teacher..bus driver ..whatever, it would be even worse when we got home... no whining kids that I remember back then, but plenty of parents that would jerk your butt off that bus and take care of business
Just more complaining and lazy mommas. If they are stay at home mothers, then they could remove their children from the government school system and start a homeschool.
Not all mother's can homeschool their kids just because your a mother doesn't mean you have what it takes to homeschool kids dumbing my mama is wonderful mother and I Love her very much but she doesn't have what it to homeschool any kid
you know whats HILARIOUS, this happened to me in high school but instead of a phone it was a piece of gum a student was “supposedly” chewing. She sat in the middle of a highway (im not even kidding) when she heard some popping it, then drove us back to the school and called the cops on us (the entire bus) 😭😭 yeahhhhh she was suspended a day later
Yet I saw another video about a kid sticking his hand out of the window, which yes is dangerous, and another video where kids didn’t “sit” when in fact I’ve been in bus most of my elementary life and no driver should ever ever step on the breaks, wait for the dumb principle We have to understand these are kids, most kids from elementary to middle school may not understand why these things are in place, high schoolers should know but again you just can’t judge a kid for whatever they’re doing because it’s either who they hang around or their parents Regardless if kids have phones they’ll probably be quiet for the most part..

Then they taught their kids 2 just act a complete fool & falsely accuse someone of mistreating them any time they feel uncomfortable or don't get their way. Made a whole huge scene acting like their kids all of a sudden gonna die on the same bus they ride in everyday in the summer that don't have air conditioning. Also, these parents had the rest of those kids in a panic & scared 2 death. Guess what? That's probably the worst thing u can do if u really afraid of heat stroke. Those kids see parents acting crazy like this they will panic & be scared because everything seemed normal & fine before these parents started yelling & screaming. Those kids are going 2 be afraid 2 ride the bus again because of these unhinged parents. I'm sorry but people really think the world revolves around them & their kid.
ur so quick to call a child u don’t know an “entitled brat” yet u assume the adults in the situation must have been doing everything right? They were in a hot bus in their PJs for 40 min…very few things can justify that.
well all the parents had to do was tell the kids to sit their rumps on the seats so the driver could have a quiet bus to dismiss. I will not let the kids off my bus in a crazy, loud rush of kids. That is a sure way for one of them to get seriously hurt. I would have quit that route the first time I saw this group of kids and parents acting like this. Not all parents act like this group.

The bus driver have all the rights to pull the school bus over and turn the bus off. That is a rule. If something needed that driver attention. You can't leave the bus running to goto the back of the bus to see what is going on. School bus can pulled over and turn the bus off if the kids are to loud or distracting the bus driver. Bus drivers do tell the kids that if you won't be quiet. I will pull the bus over and stop the bus and the kids would keep quiet. That works most of the times. But I don't know the reason why this bus sat there that long. We really don't have the real story of this Incident.
All over a cell phone? Either there is more missing from this story than I thought or the bus driver was being petty and childish. There are a lot of petty, bitter, power-hungry adults in the school system, especially these days.

Ty
I am so glad for that one Adult that comforted that poor kid and said “hold on baby where’s your momma” or something like that makes me happy❤
Why do they not get out the emergency door

First off,
There are processes in place for the driver n childrens security.
And it mandatory to be followed
This one certainly wasn’t one of them.
As a bus rider, it is absolutely sickening to see a bus driver like that! I really hope she gets imprisoned by the FBI!
Kids in total panic, crying trapped inside a hit bus for 40 minutes. And he only is on a leave, not even fired? Not even charged?
You can’t fire or charge anyone immediately… everyone is ALWAYS INNOCENT until proven guilty. The time will come
Some, maybe most, of these parents consider school only as a free babysitting service.
There is no eating for a good reason 1) we have no idea who might be allergic to whatever is opened-such as peanuts
2) if they start choking I as the driver have no idea this is happening and can not hear anything because the kids never shut up.

This explains why California don’t have school buses. Years of wondering why, here’s my answer.
Go buy some pants for them then St. Goodwill
didn't know this rule. interesting.
What a cruel bus driver !!
The bus driver still had no right to take it. Plus they were just a substitute driver
MS buses don’t have air conditioning? Maybe kids shouldn’t be riding them at all. Maybe parents should just take their kids to school.

Sounds like she had power tripping problems then AND now
The bus driver never had the right to try and force the kid to give up their phone.

Bus rules state that the driver reports student(s) to the principal for discipline (punishment) of said student(s.) A bus driver does not have a right to pull the bus over, turn off the engine and hold the children hostage for an extended period of time. The driver was correct in not opening the doors because she has no idea who the adults are. To her they are strangers and it would be unsafe but, by her stopping the bus this should have never happened and it goes against procedures. If there were a real emergency she should call LE who could get there fast. Parents are responsible for teaching their children how to behave wherever they go but, they need to make sure they go over both the school and bus rules and the consequences for breaking them. I feel bad for both the kids and the driver. The driver was new and was also a sub. and I know when I was in grade school when a sub. walked in the class we weren't always on our best behavior and tried to get away with more. So, I can imagine some of the kids on the bus were the same way. However, she knew the rules and should have followed them. It's just a bad situation all the way around. I found this information on the DeSoto County Schools 2023-2024 Student - Parent Handbook on page 30 list Bus Rules and at the bottom it says that the School Principal will determine punishments. Of course he'd deny it but I'd point to the ashes on the floor & ask him who'd been smoking in his seat since the high school kid who'd sat there earlier that afternoon had left nothing behind that was found in the post trip inspection before i started picking up for the next route.

How can you observe something you didn't even see & make a conclusion based on a 2nd hand account? It was only mentioned. You didn't see anything. What was on the phone that the bus driver wanted it so bad? Kids can have their phones.
@DinCloset - fail at being combative, I did see it. The bus was stopped. 10 people chimed in explained why.
Re read then apologize.
@@doriancoreyscloset421 and the same question goes for you. Try being a bus driver
If you don't listen to the driver you got permanently banned and you either had to wait for family or walked home
No bus driver should do that there not your mom or dad
Oh my goodness that’s so scary😨😨😨😨😨😨
Just more complaining and lazy mommas. If they are stay at home mothers, then they could remove their children from the government school system and start a homeschool.
Not all mother's can homeschool their kids just because your a mother doesn't mean you have what it takes to homeschool kids dumbing my mama is wonderful mother and I Love her very much but she doesn't have what it to homeschool any kid
Stopped for 40 minutes and not allowing anyone off because a child wouldn't give her their phone
you know whats HILARIOUS, this happened to me in high school but instead of a phone it was a piece of gum a student was “supposedly” chewing. She sat in the middle of a highway (im not even kidding) when she heard some popping it, then drove us back to the school and called the cops on us (the entire bus) 😭😭 yeahhhhh she was suspended a day later
Yet I saw another video about a kid sticking his hand out of the window, which yes is dangerous, and another video where kids didn’t “sit” when in fact I’ve been in bus most of my elementary life and no driver should ever ever step on the breaks, wait for the dumb principle
We have to understand these are kids, most kids from elementary to middle school may not understand why these things are in place, high schoolers should know but again you just can’t judge a kid for whatever they’re doing because it’s either who they hang around or their parents
Regardless if kids have phones they’ll probably be quiet for the most part..
The bus driver send the other kids into a panic attack about a phone??? smh
One kid with a cell phone, and one Mother of kid caused ALL the kids to get upset ! #1 WHY was kid with a cell when they knew it was AGAINST rules to have out on a bus, # 2 Parents going crazy BEFORE they knew facts and rules, # 3 NEWS STATION NOT GETTING ALL THE FACTS!!
@@sippifire it's not against the rules to have a cellphone on the bus.. and the little girl was answering her mother's phone call because her mother was wondering about why she was running late. There is no rules stating you cannot use a communicative device on a bus, and there's also no rule saying to lock up all the kids in the bus over one child
@@sippifire and the mother's didn't nessecarily cause the kids to be upset the kids were already upset because they've been on the bus longer then they should've and they want to go home.
School bus drivers have no right to take any phones or anything from kids unless it causes danger to the bus, kids on the bus, the driver, or the kid themselves and or discipline any kid in anyway because it's out of school hours, they are supposed to inform the parents or the school if a child misbehaves. It was extremely hot that day and that was unacceptable. I was on that bus and I was in the back left and it was about 90 to 95 degrees in that metal box. I actually had burns because the sun was shining on my seat and it left a mark.
She got a leave of absence? That's it? I've had bus driver's fired for endangering my children and the other children on the bus. One of the bus driver's I got fired was driving drunk. He surely didn't get a leave of absence. I'm not a "Karen"by far, but you don't mess with my kids. I hope everyone of those parents goes after her. That was BS.
Bruh if I had a son that was locked in a hot ass bus and the bus driver got a "leave of absence" HEH F#CK THAT, WE SQUARIN UP
Whats stopping them from just opening the back door?
Traumatized ? ? Over what ? ?
My bus driver used to pull off the road and walk up and down the aisle with a hatchet handle (no blade) raised in the air while yelling "Shut your mouth and get in those seats ! !" It was just routine.
My mother did not drive your bus.
@@itsruf1 My bus driver's nickname was "Snake". Lol
@@ChrisSmith-nh8hf ours was Mr. Wilson. He was yhe janitor too. And brought out the milk catons at lunch. His wife was cook lady. He mopped up puke sometimes. Busses had no heat or air but we didn't know any better.
And how did you turn out? What's your degree in? 😅
Ours used to slam her Oil of Olay cream on metal over her head while she was driving and she would say "Shut up or I am going to snatch ya bald-headed!!!"
I had an evil bus driver once, she was so mean and literally was reported multiple times. Like if you don’t like children don’t drive the bus
Ain't no way
I'm sure there's more to the story
This is why these kids so bad & out of control out here. Parents acting like their kids don't have 2 follow no one else's rules. These parents disrespected that driver so what do u think their kids gonna be doing? These parents should have put that same energy toward the kid who refused to have any consequences for blatantly breaking the rules while riding the bus. Those bus drivers don't get paid enough for this nonsense. Can't believe they got that bus driver in trouble too. That driver was doing what she is supposed 2 do when an entitled brat goes out the way to break the rules & refuse to comply. Go ahead, tell me I'm wrong here. This is pretty shameful.
I personally know 4 teachers and 3 of them have quit in the past couple of years due to kids behavior. We really have a parenting crisis in this country and no one’s talking about it.
@@claudiaaaarrrrr well if the one child had followed the rules of the bus they wouldn't have sat there for 40 minutes. So now we let the kids be in control on the bus? A kid that would rather sit on a hot bus for 40 minutes than do what she is told 2 do by the authority on the bus sounds like an entitled brat to me. One that will do their own selves in as well as everyone around them just so they can have their way in their mind. Well I guess that's a not very smart entitled brat. Was that nice enough for you? I will call it like I see it & yes it will be quick because something needs 2 be done about these spoiled out of control kids who can't help they way their parents raised them. It hurts them the most because the world is not going 2 revolve around them once they leave the comfort of home. Someone will hurt them one day because u can't disrespect & play around with just anyone.

Need a update on this story and if this driver is still out there being hired to drive or not
Dramatic as hell
The substitute driver ego is YOU RUSH YOUR BABIES TO GO TO SCHOOL FOR 6-8HRS SO WHY COMPLAINING?? ALL MINE ARE HOME SCHOOLED. THERES A CELL PHONE INVOLVED AND THE STUDENT WORLD NOT LET THE DRIVER HAVE IT SO BUS DRIVER WHAT YOU SCARED OF AND YOUR BEING NICE TO THESE PARENTS AS YOU COULD HAVE GONE AND PARKED IN THE BOONIES.
Here is the link if you wish to check it out. I was just curious and decided to look into it. content.myconnectsuite.com/api/documents/2da30baddfd041a6962093a9b43c0eb2
We really don't have the real story of this Incident.
how hard is it to pick up and drop off kids? thats your only job, shit takes an hour at most
