Not only in UPSC interviews, but these days, even B-schools ask such questions in their interviews. And being a classical dancer myself, I really like to answer such questions.
Kuchipudi originated from Bhagawatha mela and Bharat natyam from devdasi system. Kuchipudi has vachika abhinaya and Bharatnatyam has only bhavabhinanaya. Though both follows the natya shastra, steps, compositions, and presentations varies.
In every interview video i see on youtube whenever i see them mentioning anything about manipur they are always wrong😂 Manipuri means people living in that state just like “Indian” and the dance she is saying may be Ras lila, also know as the radha krishna dance 🙂 their aint no dance name as Manipuri
@ alanba do semdok pani da video ama da su Rani Gaidinliu do nagaland gine hyhwe adui hntk tei hek ta semdok age na semdok pa ne lana chtkhidanaba. lyrik ta ywba dugidi eisu khnghwdre 😂
Why does an IAS officer need to know this? I get that you should know different things about your culture but tbh, some questions in IAS mock interviews seem too far fetched and if they aren't, then quite irrelevant
Wrong answer to the question asked about difference between bharatnatyam and kuchipudi. The point is when we talk about facts it doesn’t matter what one believes. If you believe the usage of torso is the difference that is the same among all dances, but how does you believing in something make it a fact ?
mam she never said that her beliefs are fact. It might be the situation that she wasn't aware of the actual answers still being a dancer and yet not belonging to all the states she tried to make a guess. Put yourself in same situation and then think
@ you are right but what I am trying to point out is, when making educated and intelligent assumptions about science , economics or facts in general one must use their words wisely, the usage of think or reckon would have had much more impact than believe.
@@smrititripathi9996 because when it comes to facts in science, economics or in history, believing or faith in an idea doesn’t make it the truth, eg: you believe that the sun rises from the west, but that doesn’t make it the right answer.
But that wasn't even the point of the interview you know that right ?? It's nothing to do with her job , but they're asking to check how confidently she can manage to answer any type of question , The answer shouldn't be completely wrong but as an officer they want perfect delivery at this stage rather than a perfect answer
Why am I so nervous while she is answering the questions?? 😂😂😂
The interviewer is a badass person meanwhile sristi dabas ma'am. She paused to sum up the answers ..not to just think ..my respect 📈🙌
UPSC interview is like talking to desi uncle who keep asking about every little detail
That’s the best confidence booster😂😂😂
Her 1 sec pause and then the continuum.. very professional
The way she answers ❤

Why she missed bharatnatyam.. It's the mother of all other classical dance forms.! 😮🥲
Nothing is less then other

Quite relevant questions for the upliftment of our society and country.😅😅 From a upsc aspirant.

The way sir is asking questions it feels like I am getting interviewd 😅🥲
Wrong answer, torso movement is only seen in one classical dance form of India, and that is Odissi.
Sir expects about bharatanatyam
How could she miss naming Bharatanatyam very popular
The interviewer taking revenge of his own college days.😅
Manipuri from Manipur😭😭
Im Bharat natyam,They dance on plates and kuchipudi will be they draw a art by using toe of legs
She seems so ingenuine and i found the way she answers so faky
She impressed me
I am sorry but Bharatnatyam has the least torso movements. 😊
tell other dance forms...WITH THE STAES was like,,tell true or false...WITH THE REASONNN!!😭
She is missed most important dance Bharadhanatyam from Chennai...so sad.
I don't know why my anxiety suddenly increase😢😢
I know the dances but if I were to face the exact same questions, my brain would freeze lmao
How come she forgets Bharatnatyam from Tamilnadu
Manipuri from manipur? 💀
She did answer really well though but there is no such thing as manipuri dance in manipur
5 second rule Tanu Jain mam
Perini from Telangana ❤❤❤
Why does an IAS officer need to know this? I get that you should know different things about your culture but tbh, some questions in IAS mock interviews seem too far fetched and if they aren't, then quite irrelevant
Exactly. But it must've been in the syllabus
Damn her eyes are so rude 💀
Pretty lady
Panel is very scary 😂
Kuchipudi has much profound use of drama and acting while performing the dance
ai hai bhai ai 😂❤
Balled for a reason.
😂😂😂😂
Assum
Sir sounds like dumbeldore😂
Manipuri from Manipur wtf😂😂😂
Why ask dance questions?? Is she here for a job as a dancer for the government???
Asem?
They are not relevant to her job , what's over.
What these interviews are asking useless stuff

Later she'll be informed with correct answer, and she'll get training too so
😂😂
The interviewer looks like as if he has a constipation problem.
Why does it feels like she is acting like she is thinking
