We are living a normal life, the Quran is our religious book the same way the Christians have the Bible and the Jews have the Torah. Sharia law is the only thing used from the Quran in terms of sentencing, and that is religious and will stay in the country. Lastly, if this is truly what you think of my country, you'll change your mind pretty quickly when you see everyone you know traveling to visit Saudi Arabia

Dubai/UAE only has 2-3 million Emiratis with total pop of 9 million? Saudi Arabia has a larger population and I'm not sure the UAE solution will work for Saudis. Will Saudis actually fill the service jobs and construction labor jobs? There's like 20 million Saudi Citizens, like 75% of the total population in SA. UAE citizens are only like 25% of the total population. UAE is a minority of citizens benefiting greatly from the hard work of hired foreign labor (expats). I keep reading the average Saudi citizen is not hard working (and from stories of coworkers and friends who have lived and worked in SA), and mostly want to go shopping, traveling, eating out and enjoying entertainment with friends and family. And that's all fine and good (I like those things too, who doesn't?), but you have to be realistic about who will do the work and how will you support a population of 20 million citizens. Iraq has a similar citizen population, and it's not easy for them -- Kuwait next door only has 2 million citizens but they live rich lives like UAE citizens. SA has different issues than UAE mostly due to population issues. I've been to UAE, but not SA. I hope SA succeeds and prospers.

They are investing in their people by providing free healthcare, education in top universities, and job opportunities. I have great memories of the people there
