Putting more time between using your new account makes the risk of linkedin asking for a phone number less and for asking for id. Unfortunately we never met this issue... It may depend on the VPN used and the country. We did realize creating a fake account from or for the United States is harder than in Europe

You need one chrome session plus one proxy / ip for each new linkedin account. Every linkedin account MUST HAVE ITS OWN IP / PROXY.
