  • Tucked away in deep west Wales is a tiny village with a giant history!
The village is Nevern and there you'll find a mysterious bleeding tree (!) surrounded in mystery.
When you visit be sure to see:
    1. The Norman church of St Brynach
    2. A miraculous 700 year old bleeding yew tree in the churchyard!
    3. The remnants of a motte and bailey castle above the village and an ancient bridge
    4. The Pilgrims Cross - associated with the pilgrim route to St Davids. It is carved into the rock face and look out for the footprints!
Which bleeding yew tree legend is your favourite? Let me know in the comments!
Don't forget to like and subscribe.

Thats a beautiful village I love visiting. Has a very spiritual feel to it. Local legend has it that the actual cross of Jesus is bricked up in there and was brought there by the Empress Helen of Rome

I also heard that the tree will bleed until there is world peace! I've only just learnt about Nevern in the last couple of days as I bought a Yew longbow from Ravenbeak natureworks, and it was called "Nevern." Jenna from Ravenbeak said it was named after the village and the avenue of Yew trees. I will have to check out your other videos as I found this one interesting.
    Dave.

I'm pretty sure this is the village my family lived in before migrating to America. I'd really love to visit one day if it's true.

I have a new theory, water wells up in a crotch(branch junction),and comes out through the center of the branch,it's basically a fungus

No need to be rude about it.
