As someone that will very likely never use twitch as a service, despite certain games leveraging items behind a twitch prime paywall, there hasn't yet been a moment where I've thought something was annoying. Like the holy grail when it comes to streamers. More hours into Dunk than Noita lmao.

man trust me if my potato laptop that doesn't even have a graphics card can run it then i'm sure whatever you have can run it too. you will certainly have fps drops and you won't be able to run it on max settings, but the game is still enjoyable.
At first I thought he was completely full of it when he said toxic ice could melt to greed-cursed liquid, but hot damn there it is. I wonder if it's intentional or an oversight.
I remember this daily run and I was screaming "Just go to the right" when you got to the 3rd area and kept saying "I could really use an add mana right about now" 😅 Good run as always!
Good lord the number of good to have utility spells he ran into in the fungal cave was just insane. Digging blast, teleport, black holes, luminous drills, spark bolt with trigger. He had everything he needed for a long run by the second holy mountain.
Just got Noita. It's so sick. Asking anyone: What factors help you decide whether you go to the safe zone or keep exploring? Also, what do you consider a successful zone? Great wands? Health boosts?
If I have good money I go check the shop, if I have good health I stay and play If I have no gold and no health I cry and tablet kill as many soft easy boys as I can If I'm good on both gold and health I fuck around and die lol
If I get polem on the first or second part I consider it successful. I always use it to build simply and strong wands. Besides that getting HP is good.
if you hold a flask that is exactly the same thing (so the other can't be a group) then the shift will be skipped to the next shift in line, taking the content of the held flask into account IF it's a flask enabled shift at all
On one of my favorite runs I’ve had ever; I shifted poison over to lively and built a tele wand with expiration trigger poison explosion (now lively concoction) fun build. Could teleport around killing stuff with the explosions because I was already on a god run
There's not enough people who post noita consistently as you. So I mostly watch your noita content. There's also albino but he rarely do noita. There's still many things I don't understand about noita yet I enjoy watching it
2:50:20 I know there are various different varieties of "water" and "toxic sludge" etc and they sometimes behave differently. I wonder if there are the "normal" ones, and then ones acquired by magical means, and then one that is acquired by environmental means. So you have, basically, flash frozen and cold biome frozen ice. And then magically melted versus environment melted ice. Honestly they need to build an alchemy lab where you can bring various materials, combine, separate, and cook/chill everything. It wouldn't be super complicated, but it would be neat to play with.
@@Dan-gs3kg yeah, good point. It would be hard to manage all those flasks/ bags / bladders without telekinesis anyways. Maybe make it contingent upon taking something unique to one of the altars? Haha. Take the *cauldron* to the Mountain altar to unlock the lab 🤣

i was terrified he'd leave the water heart behind. i saw it get lit up when he fired the teleport bolt the first time he passed it and i didn't think anyone else saw :\
One of my good friends (game dev Terrifying Jellyfish) successfully taught himself to code! But, it’s been a continual process of using TH-cam and other other resources. Professors help provide you info and resources to smooth and speed up the process, but if you can come up with a plan for progression, you can learn (almost) anything without paying for classes. Only catch is, you have to stick with it, and scientific fields often all but require a degree/advanced degree.
in case it wasn't said later in the video i think the curse is turning solids to cursed solid(oil transformed) but if there is liquid or POWDER then it turns it all into liquid(w/b transformed)
Warning: serious Noita Science®️ ahead! Trying to understand what's happening with all the shifts so plz check my work lol. Shift 1: fungus blood > fungus This explains why shooting weird fungus makes more (3:26:33) 2: Various gasses > berzerkium Explains why area towards tree is full of berserkium (mobs that spawn when you return from tree shoot acid which now off-gas berzerk) (3:21:45) 3: Greed-cursed rock > oil Explains why the greed curse turns cursed solids into oil; note that the order here is important as it's calculated and happens first 4: greed-cursed liquid > worm blood Explains why the greed curse starts turning liquids to worm blood - all liquids, including the oil from all cursed solids turned to oil in the last step, turning all these now into worm blood 5: worm blood > healium Explains why worm blood heals on contact (3:29:09) 6: Various DOT (dmg over time) liquids > swamp This just makes them no longer DOT [Greed curse acquired here at 3:28:55] 7: Blood > fungus (3:36:54) Just more fungus like shift 1 8: Gasses from shift 2 (now berserkium) > acid As stated at 3:39:58, materials spawn as particles first and converts them to liquid on contact, so the oil calculation is really about whether the particle is in freefall at the time of the 2nd conversion. Perfect example at 3:42:07 where the hanging rocks on either side become oil but the rock on the mound is under pressure from the ground so it instantly converts. More hanging rock to oil examples at 3:38:00 and 3:38:19 though why this doesn't happen with some hanging rocks is still a little different to explain, just like how hard it is to explain why sometimes a shift will outright replace the original material while other times it simply gets its properties.
worm blood and wormblood (transformed) are not the same material. the transformed version has all the "stats" from the wormblood but stays liquid. i think you needed to shift transformed wormblood into helium to get the greed curse to make helium.
I'm kind of sad I didn't know about this game or its community when the Sun Quest was discovered. It feels like every mystery in the game is solved, except for the Eye Messages, and I wouldn't have even known about them or parallel worlds if I played the game without ever interacting with the community or watched YT videos about it.

I wonder if the New Game+ not changing Lively Concoction is actually accurate and is just a quirk of that neighborhood of seeds. It seems possible to me that Lively Concoction's recipe could be based on some simple factorization where a couple seeds at a time share recipes. It's obviously not this, but imagine it divides the seed number by 5, checks how many times 5 goes into the seed, then bases the recipe on that resulting number. Though the remainder would change over the next couple seeds, the actual factor wouldn't so the recipe also wouldn't. For something as hard to accidentally get as Lively Concoction, I would think a simple equation like this wouldn't be a problem as you're unlikely to stumble across it by accident and just as unlikely to stumble across it by accident in New Game+.
@dunkorslam 53:00 you can get a liquid in a flask by carefully throwing your flask in the liquid. The flask then will fill up by itself. By doing this you can get most of the liquid in the flask without touching the liquid itself. Try it sometime

Shift 1: fungus blood > fungus
This explains why shooting weird fungus makes more (3:26:33)
2: Various gasses > berzerkium
Explains why area towards tree is full of berserkium (mobs that spawn when you return from tree shoot acid which now off-gas berzerk) (3:21:45)
3: Greed-cursed rock > oil
Explains why the greed curse turns cursed solids into oil; note that the order here is important as it's calculated and happens first
4: greed-cursed liquid > worm blood
Explains why the greed curse starts turning liquids to worm blood - all liquids, including the oil from all cursed solids turned to oil in the last step, turning all these now into worm blood
5: worm blood > healium
Explains why worm blood heals on contact (3:29:09)
6: Various DOT (dmg over time) liquids > swamp
This just makes them no longer DOT
[Greed curse acquired here at 3:28:55]
7: Blood > fungus (3:36:54)
Just more fungus like shift 1
8: Gasses from shift 2 (now berserkium) > acid
As stated at 3:39:58, materials spawn as particles first and converts them to liquid on contact, so the oil calculation is really about whether the particle is in freefall at the time of the 2nd conversion.
