Vampirism hack: you can drink blood exponentially faster by standing in a pool of blood with a flask and right clicking on it in your inventory. Makes it significantly better, especially if paired with More Blood
Another vampirism hack: vampirism and saving grace gives you infinite lives, just carry a blood potion around for a second chance at life and find your way to a full heal. Obviously if you have some sort of healing wand then its value is diminished a bit but obviously just getting a flask and filling it with blood is accessible immedately upon starting the game and is much less rare and much more easy to get, using those spells on the fly in the middle of a chaotic battle takes a bit of time and requires you to stand still, and in the case of healing bolt it requires you to aim in a certain direction to either get the spell to bounce or have it boomerang back to hit you. It can get you killed rather easily, especially in the midst of a super chaotic firefight, whereas drinking a blood vial is instantaneous, doesnt require stillness, and doesnt require you to take a second to compute what angle to fire at. Ive found that when you get hit to 1 with saving grace, using the blood vial to help you catch your breath and give you some wiggle room to get to safety and THEN using the healing wand is the most reliable course of action.
Vampirism is good in short runs where you just kill the boss. You can replace your water potion with a blood potion, and then if you need health you can drink from your flask.
@@zarrg5611 Yeah I always pick it up now. I'm almost 100% sure it's a one time health reduction for very accessible healing. It also used to take away 33% of health but now it's just 25%. It is insanely good now.
I use it with plague rats and the plague rats like shred the corpses of the things you kill and spill massive amounts of blood everywhere, like enough to flood the level, it's awesome and with more blood the entire map will be red

It's ok but you could just make a wand later that heals you infinitely that just makes the perk obsolete, but if there's nothing else that's good and you want to save reroll money than I'd get it
Invisibility is so amazing, you get nearly totally free reign to explore to your hearts content. It can make a bad run good, and a good run great, until you get to the phantoms further down... By then you better hope that RNG has graced you with a decent wand and some alright spells. Also, no joke, I had Homunculi actually carry my game once. They don't just spawn whenever you enter a holy mountain, swear to god they spawn whenever you go anywhere significant. Top of the mountain? Homunculus. Orb Room? Homunculus. After a while I was just walking around letting them kill everything around me. They killed the High Alchemist boss for me, first time I ever charged the key, AND they killed the last boss with little help from me. I love those little bastards haha.
I'm surprised at teleportitis dodge being XD tier, I always pick it when I find it and it just keeps saving my life, as it teleports me out of some dangerous situations too, and it never screwed me over by teleporting into more danger either (although a good digging wand should still be available, just in case). It also works extremely well with perks like shield, and projectile slower, as the teleport dodge effect only activates when you are about to take damage, not when e.g. a projectile is near you, so it works as a last line of defense when all else fails. The teleportitis perk on the other hand, is terrible, makes me want to puke from being so disoriented.

If you find a wand with circle of vigour as always cast, you then basically have unlimited health. But to find one requires very good luck, unless you know the seed

A lot of this I know already but there are nuggets of information that are definitely useful. Bouncy perk is what I try to get every time because i love the combo with luminious drill so much. Right now i have a save that I somehow lucked out on by having explosion immunity, electric immunity, melee immunity, poison immunity so far. And Perk lottery. I don't know how I lucked out so fucking hard because some of those needed a couple rerolls and I just need fire left. I'm just past the jungle biome too so hype for the rest of the run.
Exploding corpses actually gives explosion immunity now, so pop that bad boy to S tier. Couple others that are different. Projectile Duplication spawns a /base/ copy of the projectile you're shooting directly in front of you It can seriously kill your run and the extra damage doesn't benefit from modifiers, never take it on a long run tbh. Revenge bullets gives 20% projectile and explosive resistance, so if you haven't got explosion immunity yet it can be very very good. Wand experimentor has had huge buffs, gives you something close to 70 to 80 health on the first cast and halving every time for the next 9 casts or so. Combined with wands spawning like candy in the overgrown caverns it can save runs where you didn't find healing.
10:15 The levitation trail is really good when combined with forward projectile deflector. Especially in Hiisii base or where there are vertical choke points and u bends. Basically the particles pass through almost anything. You can build up a bunch then simply aim downwards and fling all of the particles through walls and ground. Killed loads of hiisii this way.
5:25 with no recoil, you can't make a flight wand. It's just a thing to mess around with anyway, since you don't really need infinite flight at all; but it is a scenario where takeoff no recoil would be bad.
I feel obligated to choose always cast one off every time that I see it, even if my wand sucks or there is something better available. I just feel like I need to.
Enemy radar is good if you're doing bouncing spells with luminous drill because it makes it easier to kill things off screen. It also helps if you get blinded by one of the blinding mages.
Extra potion capacity would be a lot better if we had some way to resupply bottles on demand, because then you could take this to stack the amount of liquid in a bottle for a 'grenade' build that works like the Alchemist enemy. Like, "summon oil potion" on a wand with 'crits on oiled enemies'
All seeing eye is really good for places like the lower magical temple which has the darkness and a lot of mages, but it's one of the easiest places to pull off the heartache exploit.
Fun fact about angry ghost. Say you get a wand with a very low recharge time and then get it to copy some attack spell. You have essentially created a very powerful machine gun
Tinker with wands is now XD tier. ...because in the Beta Branch there is an item now which gives you that perk for simply taking up an item slot that can be 100% consistently earned on ANY run if you can beat a boss. Keep in mind perks exist which can make you near immune to damage or impossible to hit.
Vampirism absolutely carries the run as long as you get it in the first two biomes. Allowed me to go on a 40-perk run, on which I would've died multiple times if not for it. Bad if you pick it in super-late game when you have over 1k health (although it even saved me in Hell, where I went down to, like, 420/6900 hp and needed a heal with lava to blood for safety), but if you like exploration - you'll gain hundreds of health points with it, esp if you have a chainsaw (which can also be a godlike weapon on a spark bolt with trigger/double trigger).
The freeze spell was good imo it freezes any enemy in 1 shot and it doesnt drown you if you shoot it underwater because it turns into ice but it does get you stuck but as long as you avoid that its def worth it to freeze hard enemies especially if you are at the beginning of a run and have low damage so imo it's great spell
I'd put Explosion Immunity over Fire Immunity since fire can be negated by dousing yourself in water, but 80% of "Noita'd" deaths are from explosions Oil Blood can also make Ambrosia harder to use so it's not a straight upgrade
Bro I’m still kinda shite, but hungry ghost has quite literally caught actual sniper shots coming from off screen multiple times. I was left speechless. So much so that I even named him and thanked the little man on stream. Quite the impressive lad. But yes there’s a chance he doesn’t catch, and a cooldown but also he’s just a happily little guy that makes good company
thoughts: teleport when damage thingy should be the worst perk cause it makes killing the final boss almost impossible because if you catch fire you can instantly die cause of the lava lake nearby. I kinda like teleportitis dodge cause its fun if you can predict where and when you teleport. telekineses carried me through the abandoned alchemist lab (area left of collapsed mines, I forget exactly) cause one of the only ways to kill the statues is physics and its fun finding big rocks. projectile repellers can really mess with some slow moving projectile spells (explosive fireballs, spark bolt, explosive, slow projectiles). kills to mana is a good way to get concentrated mana which has a bunch of great effects other than the mana regen. (evaporates metal, cheeses vault/hissi base, changes water into itself, kills robot enemies like water with the stendari, I guess if you find odd brickwork you can get acid?) electricity can be good for the vault/hissi base cause it can kill enemies quickly.
angry spirit is so good Here's why: 1: Simply equip any extremely high rate of fire weapon (I used chainsaw) 2: Any projectile it copies (As long as you don't stand right inside the ghost it won't copy your drill or chainsaw) will fire at an INSANE rate, literally destroys so many enemies if you align the ghost right. This is because it fires when you do so whatever copied projectile fires as fast as your saw/drill/etc 3: Also allows you to shoot your OP creation through walls potentially shit slaps
Explosive corpses also gives you explosion immunity, so i prefer it over everything you put lower than a tier. Yes, it kinda adds more randomness, but explosions are the most dangerous damage type in the game, because it can kill you immediately. Definitely helps in hiisi base a lot. I would recommend to pick it for new players, that aren't planning to make god run.
yesterday i got the one that gives you two random perks and when i was seeing the one that teleports i was like "ok the run is over" and i just got teleported everywhere when the small machines shooted those tiny bullets at me that did like 2 dmg , i didn't even know where i was. Vampirism is god tier for me , i think the 2nd and 3rd biome while going for the boss gets you looks of blood everywhere and you can fill the flask with that thus healing yourself up like its nothing.
Exploding corpses is poor mans Explosion immunity and with fire res/oil blood its basically the same thing you just have to be careful about jumping into corpses for gold because you will burn but other than that it's pretty good if you want Explosion immunity.
My favorite perk just got squatted on. Boomerang spells can be great, I'd at least put it in situational be tier or even low a tier. It give chainsaw range, makes bouncing spells linger, and not to mention circle of spells follow you around (vigor, shielding*). My first win was with a boomerang wand build and quite recently, so I feel a little defensive for it.
i really need a spell tear list because I'm stuck with the same build, "spark bolt with trigger + any static explosion spell = pocket rpg" which is great but i need variety

Wand experimenter being below healthy exploration is scuffed. It doesn't heal you for 14, it heals you for 69 for firing a non shuffle wand, and about 110 for firing a shuffle wand. New wands are so much more common than new biomes since each biome has at least one wand in it, and since each wand heals you for more, it's so much more powerful
You do need knockback to get to the work if you don't have a lot of levitation (levitatium/strong levitation/faster levitation), infinite flight, or teleport, only time low recoil sucks lol
"teleportis is garbage and a meme" Well teleportis is also the only reason I won a run once, I took it and it just teleported me straight to the exit every time.
To be fair, revenge explosion does reduce incoming explosion damage by 25%, which can be handy if you can't get your hands on explosion immunity. 25% doesn't sound like much but you can really feel the effects when stuff blows up in your face, making it on par with the half-assed electric immunity perk at best. The explosions aren't huge, so unless you're standing around explosives, the added risk is minimal. Also I'd at least put vamp in C, maybe even low B tier. It is kinda ass but it works. At the end of the day it's still precious healing that can easily be bottled up for later.
I'm probably wrong, but telekinetic kick is not too bad. You can actually pick up the target practice statue from the holy mountain with it and not only it is big enough to entirely shield you from projectiles and melee enemies in front of you, it also can deal literally thousands of damage on impact. In the run where I had the statue (until it got stuck in the ceiling for whatever reason and I died because I have merely 25 hours in the game eks dee) the damage ranged from 800 to 3.8k, and maybe it can be even greater, with all the trick greed perks you can just abuse this captain America's shield for free health. Although it sounds like "eks dee" tier even more now lol (look guys I killed the final boss of the game in one hit by throwing a giant statue at it)
I believe the extra knockback on enemies makes it easier to stun, which is great early-game where you might have to stay exposed for longer than you want to. Also what makes rats good? And if they are good why not rank puke to rats higher since you can generate rats by eating a wide variety of stuff like oil and dirt?

I thing Tinker With Wands Everywhere is the best perk in the game. Sure you can just black hole out of the holy mountian if you want to edit your wands but: 1) It’s pretty damn time consuming going back and forth to holy mountains 2) Tinkering your wands everywhere let’s you take out spells you like from wands without having to sacrifice other good wands/spells because of your very limited holding capacity, which I think is basically the entire reason it’s really good. 3) Idk why but god damn does that perk look sexy...
I grabbed exploding bodies one time only because i already had explosion immunity on a past run. Funniest shit having Spark bolt trigger explosion and watching enemies double explode into more enemies double exploding. Total XD for sure but a really good XD Also comment on the slime blood. Keep in mind slime also puts out fire faster than blood or water. So it's like a shitty fire immunity on top of the other benefits.
i still have trauma from an ukko 2-shotting me in a lake when i had a really good run taking off so electric immunity of any kind is an instant take for me now

i use "never skip leg day" to get that one achievement for beating the game by only kicking
after several god runs having been ended by electricity stuns, electricity immunity has probably become my favorite immunity perk

The freeze spell was good imo it freezes any enemy in 1 shot and it doesnt drown you if you shoot it underwater because it turns into ice but it does get you stuck but as long as you avoid that its def worth it to freeze hard enemies especially if you are at the beginning of a run and have low damage so imo it's great spell

I'd put Explosion Immunity over Fire Immunity since fire can be negated by dousing yourself in water, but 80% of "Noita'd" deaths are from explosions
Oil Blood can also make Ambrosia harder to use so it's not a straight upgrade

Fire Immunity saved so many runs when going through jungle and especially the vault.

Bro I’m still kinda shite, but hungry ghost has quite literally caught actual sniper shots coming from off screen multiple times. I was left speechless. So much so that I even named him and thanked the little man on stream. Quite the impressive lad. But yes there’s a chance he doesn’t catch, and a cooldown but also he’s just a happily little guy that makes good company
thoughts:
teleport when damage thingy should be the worst perk cause it makes killing the final boss almost impossible because if you catch fire you can instantly die cause of the lava lake nearby.
I kinda like teleportitis dodge cause its fun if you can predict where and when you teleport.
telekineses carried me through the abandoned alchemist lab (area left of collapsed mines, I forget exactly) cause one of the only ways to kill the statues is physics and its fun finding big rocks.
projectile repellers can really mess with some slow moving projectile spells (explosive fireballs, spark bolt, explosive, slow projectiles).
kills to mana is a good way to get concentrated mana which has a bunch of great effects other than the mana regen. (evaporates metal, cheeses vault/hissi base, changes water into itself, kills robot enemies like water with the stendari, I guess if you find odd brickwork you can get acid?)
electricity can be good for the vault/hissi base cause it can kill enemies quickly.
9:30 if you have a fast firing wand you can make the ghost shoot enemy projectiles really fast until it switches it’s projectile

60% of the deaths I have gotten have come from off screen so enemy radar helps a lot

Here's why:
1: Simply equip any extremely high rate of fire weapon (I used chainsaw)
2: Any projectile it copies (As long as you don't stand right inside the ghost it won't copy your drill or chainsaw) will fire at an INSANE rate, literally destroys so many enemies if you align the ghost right. This is because it fires when you do so whatever copied projectile fires as fast as your saw/drill/etc
3: Also allows you to shoot your OP creation through walls potentially

you forgot that perks like revenge bullets and revenge tentacle have bonus resistances that make them kinda useful
Explosive corpses also gives you explosion immunity, so i prefer it over everything you put lower than a tier. Yes, it kinda adds more randomness, but explosions are the most dangerous damage type in the game, because it can kill you immediately. Definitely helps in hiisi base a lot. I would recommend to pick it for new players, that aren't planning to make god run.

yesterday i got the one that gives you two random perks and when i was seeing the one that teleports i was like "ok the run is over" and i just got teleported everywhere when the small machines shooted those tiny bullets at me that did like 2 dmg , i didn't even know where i was.
Vampirism is god tier for me , i think the 2nd and 3rd biome while going for the boss gets you looks of blood everywhere and you can fill the flask with that thus healing yourself up like its nothing.
Exploding corpses is poor mans Explosion immunity and with fire res/oil blood its basically the same thing you just have to be careful about jumping into corpses for gold because you will burn but other than that it's pretty good if you want Explosion immunity.

My favorite perk just got squatted on. Boomerang spells can be great, I'd at least put it in situational be tier or even low a tier. It give chainsaw range, makes bouncing spells linger, and not to mention circle of spells follow you around (vigor, shielding*). My first win was with a boomerang wand build and quite recently, so I feel a little defensive for it.
i really need a spell tear list because I'm stuck with the same build, "spark bolt with trigger + any static explosion spell = pocket rpg" which is great but i need variety
I’m pretty sure chainsaw and luminous drill are S+ tier, combine those with add mana and you get an infinite ammo machine gun

Wand experimenter being below healthy exploration is scuffed. It doesn't heal you for 14, it heals you for 69 for firing a non shuffle wand, and about 110 for firing a shuffle wand. New wands are so much more common than new biomes since each biome has at least one wand in it, and since each wand heals you for more, it's so much more powerful

You do need knockback to get to the work if you don't have a lot of levitation (levitatium/strong levitation/faster levitation), infinite flight, or teleport, only time low recoil sucks lol

Well teleportis is also the only reason I won a run once, I took it and it just teleported me straight to the exit every time.
Trick Greed is a subset of greed. Slime blood reduces projectile damage and stacks.

I always feel a bit silly when I pick the Plague Rats perk, but I've never regretted it.
To be fair, revenge explosion does reduce incoming explosion damage by 25%, which can be handy if you can't get your hands on explosion immunity. 25% doesn't sound like much but you can really feel the effects when stuff blows up in your face, making it on par with the half-assed electric immunity perk at best. The explosions aren't huge, so unless you're standing around explosives, the added risk is minimal.
Also I'd at least put vamp in C, maybe even low B tier. It is kinda ass but it works. At the end of the day it's still precious healing that can easily be bottled up for later.

I'm probably wrong, but telekinetic kick is not too bad. You can actually pick up the target practice statue from the holy mountain with it and not only it is big enough to entirely shield you from projectiles and melee enemies in front of you, it also can deal literally thousands of damage on impact. In the run where I had the statue (until it got stuck in the ceiling for whatever reason and I died because I have merely 25 hours in the game eks dee) the damage ranged from 800 to 3.8k, and maybe it can be even greater, with all the trick greed perks you can just abuse this captain America's shield for free health. Although it sounds like "eks dee" tier even more now lol (look guys I killed the final boss of the game in one hit by throwing a giant statue at it)

I believe the extra knockback on enemies makes it easier to stun, which is great early-game where you might have to stay exposed for longer than you want to.
Also what makes rats good? And if they are good why not rank puke to rats higher since you can generate rats by eating a wide variety of stuff like oil and dirt?
Were the perks different back then? Because exploding corpses also gives you immunity from explosion damage, making it S-tier instead of the lowest.

I thing Tinker With Wands Everywhere is the best perk in the game. Sure you can just black hole out of the holy mountian if you want to edit your wands but:
1) It’s pretty damn time consuming going back and forth to holy mountains
2) Tinkering your wands everywhere let’s you take out spells you like from wands without having to sacrifice other good wands/spells because of your very limited holding capacity, which I think is basically the entire reason it’s really good.
3) Idk why but god damn does that perk look sexy...
I grabbed exploding bodies one time only because i already had explosion immunity on a past run. Funniest shit having Spark bolt trigger explosion and watching enemies double explode into more enemies double exploding. Total XD for sure but a really good XD
Also comment on the slime blood. Keep in mind slime also puts out fire faster than blood or water. So it's like a shitty fire immunity on top of the other benefits.
