I have found that the only way that you can get rid of. The cloudiness is to use Angelus leather dye in even coats and wiping in between to remove chance of streaks then seal with fiebings leather sheen after the dye is dry then use the Saphir Vernis rife to bring out the shine. I have done that with a few Louis Vuitton. Vernis Houston bags and they came out looking amazing.
There are some amazing tutorials on how to die a patent leather bag that will explain these details step-by-step. In my experience, I have had nothing but amazing results using that method when I was trying to get rid of the cloudiness and the discoloration

Is there a good clear vernis leather cleaner? I don’t want to buy colored ones as specific bags of mind have rare, shimmery tones
Hello! Saphir also make a clear vernis rife cleaner. Ive never used the clear cleaner before but that could be a product worth researching for you and your bags

To answer your question I do not know of a DIY way to restore the shape however, I do know some bag spas do offer this as a service .
