Is there an ability to include data from Google sheets? Live network connection? Or even make your own interface for the web, for editors to just change video and data?
@@rekad8181 I'm not sure about the web stuff but you can put like excel sheet data in there. I didn't want to make the video super long but I do have an example of an election style graphic running the poll results in real-time
Settings to increase the UI elements like in Blender. The mini AE UI is killing my eyes and my neck!
Hey WINBUSH .. Whatup whatup .. thanks again for everything you do .. and thanks for this amazing video about project avalanche ..
but I'm trying to understand something hopefully you clear it up for me .. and that is
"Are project avalanche and UEFN are unreal projects or are they unreal versions ?"
i really can't get it into my head ..
Thanks in advance
Cheers
An easy to set up (blueprinted?) particle system that renders the same exact result each time we render, so we can rely on where specific particles are in the editor viewport, because they will also be there in the final render.
Now that's a twist...
C4D and AE with a bit of Illustrator inside the Unreal Engine? What? That's very cool!
To the two guys who were excited about AE now doing 3D: hold your horses. Avalanche might be the way to go.
Very intrigued about how it handles video assets.
Great overview, thanks!
Not going to lie I wasn't really impressed with the AE 3D implementation I think Element 3D still does it better
@@JonathanWinbushtotally agree!!
As a user of After Effects and Cinema 4D, I'm very excited to be able to replace those two with just one focused on motion design with real-time rendering. It's ridiculous that Adobe only implements 3D in AE now after 20 years on the market and still delivers so little that Element 3D, even without an update in over 10 years, manages to be better. And Maxon, which is still sleeping on real-time rendering. It could have advanced with Redshift RT, delivering quality real-time rendering without having to leave C4D, but RT seems to be stuck in time without significant updates. So congratulations Epic Games, you're going to change the motion design game and I'm going to be a part of it.
Imagine C4D with an EEVEE equivalent, with RTX (DXR - it already uses DirectX), with simple to use 2D motion design capabilities, with layers (better motion clips)... Because while it's cool that Avalanche has easy to use mograph tools, that's still a small percentage of what C4D can do. And I mean you can make an entire AAA game in UE5, so I bet with some C++ knowledge or some cash you can have much, MUCH more than just a couple effectors.
I am not even going to bother explaining all the ways in which AE sucks. You know that, I know that, everyone knows that.
Both Maxon and Adobe need some competition to kick them in the NUTS.
Man, it's about time someone takes the throne from adobe after effects and what not. I can't wait to start learning this and changing all my pipeline into Epic level. And REAL TIME RENDERS !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Yea buddy I like AE but we definitely need something like this to really push the limit of real-time compositing 🤙🏿
@@JonathanWinbush real-time compositing. Man, I've longed so much for this. Real time and photo realistic though, we're nearly there.
Finally ! One "creative" program to rule them all !
Curious to see the business model of it.
If it’s like their game design platform it’s free until you gross 1 mil+ then percentage kicks in.
This is going to be such a huge point of entry for motion designers that have been curious but on the fence up until now. So stoked that you're leading the conversation for the community!
Never been a better time to learn Ue, need a better reason!?! Nice one Winbush, so happy you are helping give input on the design on this tool! No one better to showcase new workflows!!
🙏🏿
Thanks for giving that quick overview and breakdown! Sometimes there's too much new stuff coming out to keep up, nice to get the low down!
Absolutely 🤙🏿
The geometry set is mindblowing, I NEED IT!!!!🎉
wow, imagine UMG was just this. How powerful and fresh would be. Love it!
I think this will eventually repace it! 🤙🏿
Oh I'm with you on this. UMG seems so much more complex than it needs to be for a UI Solution
@@JonathanWinbush I don't think it'll be a replacement. UMG and Slate still has a big place in the world of UI. You could use widget components to add UMG into an Avalanche scene, though?
Not an unreal user yet but as a motion designer, this is really making me consider giving it a shot.
The cloners feature as well as the 2D/3D mix looks pretty powerful, especially because it's all real time!
What a great coverage!! Thank you brother
Yea buddy you guys are going to have a blast with it! 🤙🏿
Yeah, wanna see your take on it, you crazy guys!
Thanks for the preview Winbush. I’m sold. Can’t wait for it to come out.
This is exciting news! Will be taking your course during the holidays.
Dope my man really excited to see how you do after taking it!
I LOVE this! This really is a dream come true for designers with render anxiety such as myself! I will wake up every morning checking to see if it's released yet. Thank you for sharing this info!!!
Excellent overview. Thanks so much. Looking forward to being able to jump into a beta release when it's available.
Great overview of the product! Definitely shows off some of the powerful features! 👏👏👏🤙
Thank you! 🤙🏿
My guy. Just found your channel. Subbed immediately. You are making fire here. Love your style.
Appreciate you Mike thanks for the support! 🤙🏿🤙🏿
what a good time to be alive, this is golden
I am most excited about what will be created by the community when this tool is launched. The community is always what makes any program/software shine. So looking forward to this.
Holy Moly! New hero is here! Thanks bro, it's amaizing lesson!
omg I'm just hearing about this for the first time & I'm so excited to use it!
I'm addicted to the instant render times of UE and I always hate jumping over to AE.
Yea man this has been in the works for a few years now so I can't wait until its out in the general public! 🤙🏿
Swiiiiish!!!!! Thanks for the sneak peek... It looks wicked 🤩🥳🤙
You bet! 🤙🏿
Cheers for the awesome vid. Looking forward to the release 🍻
Thanks buddy! 🤙🏿
dude in 5 years man, unreal is gonna make quite a few programs obsolete or make them look like clowns. unreals development team is the most fierce development ive seen ever in the 3d space. they are putting out new versions every six months, they are charging us nothing to use it. they got out of the box solutions. this stuff is insane
And adobe will do nothing in 5 years...right?
@@pshethia01 What?
In 5 years AI will have remplaced Unreal, all 3d softwares and you !
I always adapt no replacing always evolve 🤙🏾
They barely the past 5 years with no competition they've been doing the bare minimum
Can't wait to try, really! Thanks for the info about it
I waited a long time for this project - thank you for the update:)
Yea it's been years but glad its almost finally here for everyone!
I’m glad they seem to be taking time to make it right. A lot of software gets rushed out, such as for example the iPad versions of Adobe products which have been missing some basic stuff.
This looks absolutely brilliant.
Wow! So excited to try it. Awesome video as always ❤️
Yay! Thank you! 🤙🏿
Incredibly exciting stuff!
I cannot believe what I am seeing! This is a game changer!
It is absolutely 100% 🤙🏿🤙🏿
Awesome overview, thanks for sharing. This looks super exciting!
This looks incredible. I am looking forward to this very much!!
This is insane, as a Tv Graphics engineer i am really interested on using unreal engine as a replacement for Vizrt since it has a more permissive license and 3d performance is just plain better.
this is EXACTLY what I was waiting for!!!
This is very interesting!
Wow, this is amazing.
Thank you for this clarification.
This topic was about plugins before and I was working on it, but now it has become something amazing
It's all integrated now but hopefully plugin devs make amazing plugins for it like they do for after effects
For me, the real power of these tools is working with zero density@@JonathanWinbush
I do motion graphics from time to time and I can't wait to check this out!
Incredible. Thank you so much Winbush.
My pleasure!
This video was so helpful. Thanks also the headphones are 🔥. I was just looking for some for my daughter. I'll check these out. Thanks again.
Wow, this is the definition of a game changer. Gonna have to dive back into UE5!
Will be great to have ya back 😁
This looks amazing
Did you get a chance to play in the beta at all?
ohh now i'm really interested. def checking this out.
I can't wait! So hyped for this!
You know it brother can't wait to see what you and your team end up doing with this! 🤙🏿
@JonathanWinbush yeah man, we've been using unreal pretty heavy within our squad. I can definitely see how Avalanche can help with our daily tasks. The text, cloner, masking, and Adobe like features would be a huge help in what we do every day.
This is a game changer! I'm in!!
wow! this is going to be a game changer!!
Absolutely! 🤙🏿
Wow! This is the one thing I was missing in UE! Super pumped for this! ❤
It's been a long time coming for sure! 🤙🏿
Looks amazing. Thanks for the excellent overview! It'll probably be released just in time for the subscription model implementation.
The open beta should be out before that I think we are a ways off before them announcing any pricing yet
this is a game changer! i used to do alot of c4d text render out and composite them into different things for banners and such and to be able to do this all in unreal will be epic
Cannot wait to start using this! Thx, Winbush.
Thank you for this wonderful demonstration of the new tech. It's super cool stuff and you conveyed/presented it beautifully.
Thank you so much 🤙🏿
This is really great. “One soft to rule them all”. Thanks for sharing Winbush!
Would be nice to not have to bounce around to a bunch of softwares for the most part for sure 🤙🏿
It almost feels strange to me that I saw all of this within UE haha, but its interesting! Thanks for the info Winbush!
It's definitely pretty wild but I'm glad they are taking it there 🤙🏿
Insane my man !! very good channel
thank you 🤙🏿
Thank you for the information I can't wait to learn this powerful program
WHAT UP WHAT UP!! great video cant wait to try these new tools!!
Coming really soon and thanks for watching brother! 🤙🏿
It’s called Unreal for a reason. Thanks for sharing this new great feature!
This is amazing! Even as a game designer, there are some fun ways this stuff can be used!
what up what up! awesome video, I am super excited to get into the whole Avalanche! thanks for the update!
And thank you for watching! 🤙🏾
BRO that is sooo dope!!!! Great job on the work you did! I am soo hype! I willl be watching closely! Thank You!
Appreciate it man thank you 🙏🏿🙏🏿
What up what up!! Thanks for the sneak peak bro!!
Absolutely!
Stop being a stranger let's hang out when I get back state side
AMAZING!
Thats awesome!! eager to use these tools
Should be soon! 🤙🏿
Thank you so much for all your amazing helpful tutorials and information 🍻
Next level!! Like Unreal on nitrous!!!!
What Up What Up indeed. That typeface integration is clutch. As one who has largely left Adobe behind it's nice to have Yet Another Option.
We've been needing more options for a really long time too
Wow can’t wait
Very cool stuff!
🤙🏿
YESS!!! very useful!!
Wow. This is very very cool. I hope it's affordable for creatives to get going with. I wish they had something like this for Blender.
Holy crap! This is amazing!!
😁😁
This is just amazing !! I've been waiting for ages for such a feature to come to Unreal so that I won't need to keep changing software while doing motion graphics! A feature that I would love to be added to Project Avalanche is the Fracture function, where we can do something like the Transform effect for the parts of any mesh we have, such a feature will be a huuuge addition to the toolset, keep up the good work guys, can't wait to put my hands on it!!
That's a good one I'll let the team know!
Former Broadcast Designer having used C4D, AE as well as Avid Deko, Chyron, and a few other tools from way back. Lots of Broadcast companies look for candidates with UE experience. Good stuff! Getting more into UE checking it out wow!
Yea I was getting asked a lot last year by studios if I know any Unreal motion artist its definately picking up
This is bonkers...lets go!
Thanks for this Mr. Winbush!!
What Up... What Up!!
I remember a time when we all had to learn vray and test renders , perfect render settings , praying to god that no flickering happens , seems like those days are long gone.
Yea buddy I've been doing this since the early 2000s I'm definitely right there with you lol
I feel old but I remember when it was all only CPU rendering
Woah this is nuts.
Project Avalanche is fire. I already love it. Thanks for the content
Great to hear!
Thanks for showing the tool to us ! That layer system is so nice. And for now UE was very bad at handling 2D, this could change so many things ! Hopefully they will keep it simple as for now Unreal is sometimes too much to make like a simple 10s loop (long to load, shader baking, etc...)
Goddamn this is going to be huge! Can't wait to get my hands on this!😱
DUDE this is a SERIOUS game changer man
Those tools are cool!
this is very cool!! hope they add sculpting tool since it already can handle large scenes with ease
I feel like they've been slowly working on adding modeling tools these past few releases for sure
oh its awasome information
Very nice!
Very cool, I hope that it will be released very soon to try in my own projects ❤❤❤
Can't give a definite answer but I can say sooner than later!
Very exciting stuff. What I hope the Avalanche team will be working on, is the "low practicality" of the timeline. Like easy shortcut Zoom in and out of the timeline, ripple, cut the start and beginning of a layer easy with shortcuts, etc.
Thank you for keeping us up to date Winbush.
The timeline is definitely a topic of focus for them but all suggestions like this are great I'll ping the message over
Damn, respect from Uzbekistan!. Liked and subscribed
Appreciate you buddy thank you 🙏🏿
I just looked up Uzbekistan looks amazing!
@@JonathanWinbush i would like if you visit us, you would be my guest 🤝💪
@@woxiam9004 that would be awesome
do you get any kind of conferences or events out there?
Awesome!
🤙🏾
Thanks for this sneak peak bro :D This is huge!! Can’t wait to get my hands on it! Do all 3D and 2D elements work with Niagara too?
Yes it does!
Waiting for video tutorials on this!!
this is amazing __ any ideas when this will be out ?
I can't say exactly when the open beta starts but all they told me was very soon
Wow really impressed, I hadn't seen anything about Avalanche. And from the preview you showed, if we can still access blueprints then that means loading JSON and other external data sources in real time to update the motion graphics, there's some exciting possibilities there.
Yup will have full access to all the usual UE5 tool sets as well
I was just thinking the same thing for maybe using it as a real-time on-air graphics solution.
Game Changer!!
I only use UE5 for Machina fractals, but this looks super fun to use and play with. I'm not a motion graphics designer. But I may give this a try! Looks reasonably easy to use.
oh shit this looks amazing cant wait to get my hands on it
The cloner addition is everything I've ever wanted in Unreal.
This is amazing. I've been doing RT motion graphics in UE for years but have had 2 years out of the loop - fantastic! When is project avalanche available?
all I can say is coming soon
Would love to be able to do this on my MacBook. Hopefully they roll out this stuff for Apple Silicon too.
I dont own a mac myself but I feel like I've been seeing mac support getting better over the last release yea?
@@JonathanWinbush you're right. Just looked at the 5.3 release notes. Looks like they are rolling out beta support for Nanite on M2 devices which was one of the big features that wasn't included in the last few releases. Definitely excited to try that and Avalanche out soon!
