  • This is a serious problem today as many people have been divorced, remarried, their first spouse is still alive, and they are in adultery according to the Bible. The Bible says no adulterer will go to heaven in 1 Cor. 6:9, so it is imperative that people guilty of this transgression repent, so that they can be right with God. I ask that you listen to all Scripture given in the video.

People just don't want to hear the truth. I've been divorced 6 years now and after praying 6 years about it God gave me an answer in April 2020. If I remarry while my husband is alive (which he is) it's adultery. And this is SCRIPTURE.

This is why everybody needs to get saved, born again and Christian before marriage. So that you can see the path for you. Marriages are supposed to be forever. Being widowed is the biggest excuse for remarriages. Otherwise the only other way is one spouse being unfaithful before marriage.

i would call myself someone who stands for marriage , BUT , theres something that s "marriage standars" claim that i believe is highly questionable .... and it is said in this video aswell , that when people say they got divorced as an unbeliever that God still recognises that marriage , when there are definit specific scenarios that tells us that the marriage covenant could be disolved in the OT and a new marriage entered into LEGALLY before God ..... in Exodus 21 we see that neglect of food , clothing and intimacy was grounds for divorce , just like in deuteronomy 24 sexual immorality and hating the person are grounds for divorce , and they could legally remarry ....
Marriage standers claim that "the marriage covenant cant be broken" , and "God sees marriage as permanent" , but this is simply wishful thinking , cus its clear when you study these verses that allowed the marriage covnenant to be broken AND remarriage to take place , God even allowed polygamy which is also just glorified adultery for a christian .....
So this is one thing that makes me loose respect for the beliefs of marriage standers , cus im here to follow the bible , not various man made doctrines .....
It sounds nice and all that God never allows a release from the union , but that simply isnt biblical , He allowed both a release AND remarriage AND polygamy .... and the jews are under the law of Moses , and the heathens are under the law of concience which is the same moral laws as the law of Moses but without the serimonial stuff and priesthood and so on....¨
But its "dont kill , dont cheat , dont lie , dont steal , dont eat unclean animals" ... ppl know this cus they have it written on their hearts , they you shouldnt kill or eat seaguls or owls and so on , dont have to tell them... but at the same time we see that humans are sinners by nature and some sins become cultural and systemic like pedophilia in certain cultures , beastiality , cannibalism and so on
But yeah.... i wanna be biblical , and its simply nto correct that there is no release from the union for non believers , cus its clear that it is , its not something God liked , but He was overbearing and compassionate and suffered it for hard hearts ....
I used to follow this teaching, but i just cant ,.,... cus it means sticking your head in the sand and be unbiblical

@@a11an72 Actually you are taking an unBiblical stance on this. Do you believe the New Testament? Read Matthew 19 and read what Jesus says. The betrayed but innocent husband can thereby marry a single lady or a widow, but only in the Lord. Simple. Learn some Greek. The New Testament was written in Greek. Porneia includes mocheia, but is not limited to just mocheia only. Actually mocheia and porneia are synonyms, but mocheia includes less sins. In no way is porneia limited to single people or betrothals only. Example: The word "pornography" in English (from the root "porneia") includes all immoral sexual sins. ARE YOU SAYING THAT JESUS WOULD SAY THAT YOU COULD DIVORCE YOUR WIFE FOR PREMARITAL SEX OUTSIDE THE MARRAIGE, BUT YOU CANNOT DIVORCE YOUR WIFE FOR SEX OUTSIDE THE MARRAIGE AFTER THE WEDDING DAY? @@affyrmed6911 Excellent question, sir (or ma'am). The excellent answer to your excellent question is Matthew 19:9. The key phrase is "and marries another," which means "remarries," and the key word is "except," which is the root word of "exception." The general rule is that God does not allow for divorce and remarriage, especially in the way the Jews and Gentiles customarily did in the days of Jesus, for frivolous reasons, such as "irreconcilable differences," etc. So, an ironclad truth of scripture is that two verses, Matthew 19:9 and chapter five, verse 32 provide an "exception" for cases of "immorality" (sexual sin of unlawful penetration) "porneia" Greek for divorce and remarriage as a special exemption (exception), and certainly not as the general rule of law, and Jesus had very good reason to do so. To go against that good reason is to fight against God's law itself, and undermine the authority of God to judge and rule as He pleases as the Almighty God of all creation. "And I say to you, whoever divorces his wife, except for sexual immorality, and marries another, commits adultery; and whoever marries her who is divorced commits adultery.” Matthew 19:9 NKJV "Porneia" is not just adultery only, but it includes single or married immoral sex. It is a synonym for adultery that would include the betrothal view, as well as adultery under the general word "immorality." It is important to do an overview of the different views which cause the debate over the meaning of the Matthean exception clauses. The popular view
held by the vast majority of contemporary evangelical scholars is described quite often as “the vast majority view (also known as the Erasmian or common Protestant view) which interprets porneia "as a reference to, or at least including adultery," or "at the very least, including adultery as well as premarital sex." Differing views are a small minority view that attempt to change the true meaning of the verses, and constitute "private interpretation," as 2 Peter 1:20-21
      New King James Version says:
"knowing this first, that no prophecy of Scripture is of any private interpretation, for prophecy never came by the will of man, but holy men of God spoke as they were moved by the Holy Spirit."

It is very sad that you stand on legalism and not on grace. Satan has come to destroy families. This teaching is great if you are standing on the law. Do this or don't do that and you will be saved. We aren't saved by performing under the law. We are saved by grace through faith. Deut 24 did allow for giving a certificate of divorce. But men were abusing this so Jesus lays down a very hard truth. It wasn't meant to be this way. It is because we have hard hearts. But divorce is not the unforgiveable sin. Repent, be forgiven and live free in Christ. We are no longer bound by the law but under grace. (Rom 8)
I encourage you to really study this as you are falling on the side of condemnation and not on the side of grace. Jesus forgives all sin, including divorce. There is not a single teaching in the Bible that says we are in a state of "perpetual sin" if we are remarried. Does God hate divorce? Yes. Can we repent and be forgiven from divorce? Yes. Does God hold our sins against us? No... So are we free in Christ when we repent from our sin? I'll let you decide the answer to that. I pray that you don't allow false teachings to come between you and your family.

I have put together a playlist that has 290 videos, and today I am thrilled to find yours to add to it. Pastors have told me over and over that I am wrong and since I believe that we are in the last days looking for the rapture, this is hugely important because the rapture verses in 1 Thessalonians 4 are preceded by the command to be in sexual purity and to not commit adultery with your brother's wife. My channel was started after having my first rapture dream 3.5 years ago, and I believe in the pre-Tribulation rapture. Many churches will believe in the pre-Tribulation rapture, but they don't believe that remarriage is adultery. Your video is an answer to prayer because many women are in this fight, but rarely do we find men to stand up to the persecution that comes along with this John the Baptist mission. Some even put up their videos, and then delete them. Even in the book of Revelation, Jesus gave a strong warning for believers committing adultery inside the church!! The church of Thyatira was told if they didn't repent, the children would be killed. That sure doesn't go over well in churches. When you share this truth with fellow Christians, they will get irritated, angry and offended with you. They will start justifying their opinion by twisting Scripture. You will be accused of being "judgmental" or "holier than thou". However, God's word is always the plumbline; people's opinions are irrelevant!

Thank you for teaching the bold truth. I was married in 86 and my wife divorced me for another man in 2019.. I have attended divorce care classes put on by the church, they have there own handbook with very little bible reference and promote divorce remarriage.. I have looked for a loophole to please my flesh in which there are none. I've gone out with other women and felt Gods conviction every time (they did not compare to my wife). I realized God will keep his word to us and expects me to keep my word /vows even if she doesn't.. husbands love your wives like Christ loves the church, ouch, the church killed Christ.. I will love her and pray for her because my 2 choices are remain unmarried or reconciled.. narrow is the path and few who find it.. hell is in the unrepentant adulterers future. @@NeedfulTruth the nature of marriage has not changed since the OT and remarriage was clearly allowed. I agree that unto death was the original intention of God and is the nature of the vow however the vow often gets broken by one or both parties. Then what? God’s nature is to restore and give life abundantly. Nowhere is it written that a divorced person cannot remarry. Given all the craziness in the early church I’m sure Paul would have addressed this directly if it were really as absolute as you say.
Furthermore the OT explicitly forbids remarriage to a former spouse after marrying someone else so if you want to go by the letter of the law you need to repent for instructing people to violate God’s commands.

Just as Christ is faithful to us, He's been patient, forgiving, forbearing and long-suffering towards us. Even when some of us may backslide and go astray, He's still waiting on us with open arms to return. This is what marriage is really about! It's Christ and His Church. He promised that He will never leave nor forsake us no matter what but imagine if He did? Imagine if he discarded us once we messed up and strayed from Him?? That is not Jesus. Stay true to your covenant. One man+one woman=ONE FLESH for life, only death dissolves the marriage covenant.

I am so glad mainstream pastors like John Piper (sort of) and David Pawson are on our side. We are not to create factions, but this issue is off the scales dead serious. I don't understand why there is so much controversy over if remarriage after a divorce is permitted. Holy Scripture is quite clear on the matter. If you are divorced (regardless of the reason) and your first spouse is still living you may not be remarried. If a divorced person remarries or you marry a divorced person it is adultery. Yet I know numerous people who are remarried to a divorced person or they are divorced and married to another spouse.

You're dead wrong. See Deut 24:1-4, Matt 5:17-18, and Luke 16:17. These verses show that if any and all remarriage after divorce is adultery, then either adultery was lawful under the OT, or Jesus changed the Law to expand the definition of adultery. It's absurd either way. If Heaven and Earth have disappeared, then how did I not notice?
Paul's words at 1 Cor 7:9, 15, 27-28 further illustrate that it is no sin to marry if you are unmarried for any reason, regardless of any prior marital status.

@@hamilton9651 There is so much horrendously bad teaching going around in church assemblies and TH-cam videos these days, including in this video. If you can avoid the issue completely by keeping your marriage on solid footing, that is most ideal. Or if you are fine with celibacy, that will work too.
The truth is that Jesus never condemned remarriage after divorce per se. One man dumped his faithful wife of 10 years just because some OnlyFans girlie took a liking to him. Another man put up with years of abuse, lies, etc then finally divorced his wife after her third arrest for drunk driving, then married a better woman five years later. It was the actions of the man in the former scenario, not the latter, that Jesus rightly condemned as tantamount to adultery. Why is this difference rocket science to some church elders?
It is possible to respect marriage while allowing for divorce for serious reasons. Those who deny this are practicing idolatry. The Marriage Permanence Heresy is just that: heresy.

I do not agree with this completely. I think your mixing the word up. 1 Corinthians 7:15 says you are not bound and free to remarry. Also Matthew 19:9 says sexual immorality. It doesn't say fornication. Also Christ died and fulfilled the law. When he met the woman at the well who had several husbands and the one she was living with was not hers. (Adultery). He who is without ain cast the first stone then Christ told her to go and sin mo more. That doesn't mean you commit sin again by divorce. Deuteronomy 24:1-4 specifically says you do not go back to the first spouse if you have remarried. I think your wrong and the understanding of the word is incorrect. We live under Grace and the only unforgivable sin is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit. David committed adultery but God forgave him and once he did she then became Davids wife and not Uriah wife. God called her Uriah wife until David repented even after Uriah was killed. So please stop spreading this lie. If you are remarried because of sexual immorality or abandonment you are not going to hell. If you remarried and asked God for forgiveness for your sin you are a new creature. Continue on. God hates divorce Malachi 2:16. He would never tell you to do something he hates twice. He is a forgiving God. Go and sin no more.

Those who say otherwise are either living in this sin or know someone close to them who is. Therefore, whether ignorantly or deliberately, they 1) pervert the scriptures to fulfil the deeds of their flesh or 2) fear man and rejection, failing to speak the truth. Where is the Christian witness - the salt and light to the lost? Christians act no differently to the world and its ways. Tragic.

Brothers, lets learn together: 1 separation Jesus talked about wasn't divorcing, divorce is divorce, separation is separation, the separation Jesus was against was the putting away which, same issue in Malachi 2:16, even God himself divorced his people, divorce was the commandment of God in Deut. 24 that people didn't practice, instead they just separate in a putting away practice that untreacherously to their wives (Malachi 2) leaving their wives without social and financial protection and leading them to adultery (Mathew 5:30,31)

@@RedPillOfTheBible the divorce and remarriage for adultery doctrine is based solely on the supposed guilt of the wife in Matthew 5:32, and Matthew 19:9. However, the wife in Matthew 5:31-32 is clearly not guilty of fornication because the Jews that Jesus was speaking to were still living under the law, and if fornication was discovered, there was a moral obligation to report the offender according to Deuteronomy 22:13-24. The wife, who would have been found guilty of fornication, was subsequently stoned to death, according to the law, which had still governed the Jews up until Christ's death on the cross. The same for a woman caught in adultery, according to Leviticus 20:10. How could a wife, guilty of fornication, or adultery, under the law of Moses, be given a writing of divorcement and be caused to commit adultery with whosoever marries her, that is divorced? Jesus is clear, in these examples, that the wife is not guilty of fornication, but is still caused to commit adultery if she marries another man now that she is divorced. This is the only way that Matthew 5:31-32, and Matthew 19:9 keep harmony with Romans 7:2-3, and 1 Corinthians 7:39.
Unlike the synoptic gospels of Mark and Luke, which were written to evangelize the Gentiles, Matthew was written to the Jews, and has of 24 characteristics that identify it as intended for the house of Israel.
The ancient Jews called the betrothed (engaged) "husband" and "wife" according to Deuteronomy 22:23-24, Matthew 1:18-25, and Luke 2:5-7.
Deuteronomy 24:1-4 (Moses's precept of divorce and remarriage) was never for fornication or adultery. Allowing those guilty of fornication and adultery to remain living and become a prospect for remarriage was against the law of Moses in Deuteronomy 22:13-24 and Leviticus 20:10, which commanded that those who were found guilty of fornication and adultery be put away from Israel, and stoned to death.
The law of Moses was not given to the world, only to the Jews. From the exodus, to Christ's death on the cross, the law of Moses governed the Jewish people. Christ's death on the cross caused the Jews to become dead to the law of Moses, so they could be joined to Christ under a New Covenant. This is what Jesus's fulfillment of the law of Moses, including Deuteronomy 24:1-4 (Moses's precept of divorce and remarriage), means. Paul gave several warnings to Christian believers against keeping the ordinances of law of Moses as justification, over following Christ and his commands under the New Covenant with Christ. Keeping the ordinances of the law is no longer possible, for Israel, and that is why Christ prophesied that the temple would be destroyed. These scriptures make it clear that if you choose the law over Christ, that you must keep the whole law: Romans 7:4, Galatians 3:1-9, Galatians 3:10-29, Galatians 4:1-7, Galatians 4:21-31, and Galatians 5:1-15.
Being unequally yoked to unbelievers is not a cause for divorce, once two become one-flesh in a covenant of marriage, according to 1 Corinthians 7:12-14. Many one-flesh covenant marriages between unbelievers are recognized by God in the scriptures, most notably the marriage covenants between Herodias and King Herod's brother Philip, Potiphar and his wife, Ahab and Jezebel, and Ruth to her deceased husband Mahlon by Boaz when he took her to be his wife.
Some are teaching that 1 Corinthians 7:15 implies that those who are abandoned, by an unbelieving spouse, are "no longer bound" in a one-flesh covenant of marriage. The reason this is in conflict is due to the way some translations word it, which gives it an entirely different meaning, and context. 1 Corinthians 7:15, says, "But if the unbelieving partner separates, let it be so. In such cases the brother or sister is not enslaved. God has called you to peace." As you can see, the actual scripture says "not enslaved" which means that the husband or wife is not enslaved to sin with the unbelieving spouse, and is free to worship Christ in peace. Subsequent translations have changed the words to imply that they nullify the marriage covenant, which is not at all the case. The issue that this creates is with 1 Corinthians 7:10-11, which says, "10To the married I give this command (not I, but the Lord): A wife must not separate from her husband. 11But if she does, she must remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband. And a husband must not divorce his wife." As you can see, those who claim 1 Corinthians 7:15 shows the Apostle Paul giving those who are abandoned permission to remarry, do not understand the command that Christ gives is to an abandoned husband, in 1 Corinthians 7:11, and that he "must not divorce" his wife, and his wife is commanded to "remain unmarried or else be reconciled" to her husband. The theory that 1 Corinthians 7:15 nullifies two as being one-flesh, due to one's unbelief, puts the Apostle Paul directly at odds with Christ, and himself, by implying that Paul has issued an opposing command to verses 10-14 in verse 15.
Some also teach that 1 Corinthians 7:27-28 is referring to both divorced men and virgin women, and not exclusively to men and women (virgins) who have never been married. This has been falsely taught for some time in churches as referring to anyone who is not currently in a marriage, which, for them, also includes those who are divorced. This is a very false assumption, and puts these verses in a different context, that is at odds with both the teachings of Christ and the apostle Paul. We see Paul refer to virgins, which signifies the unmarried who have never before been wed, which is the proper context here. We see Paul saying clearly that it is good for virgins, which is also speaking to never before wed men here, "that it is good for a man so to be." He goes on to say, "Art thou bound unto a wife? seek not to be loosed. Art thou loosed from a wife? seek not a wife." Who is he referring to here? Men who, like himself, have never married. The word "bound", in these verses, is a clear reference to betrothal (engagement) and not to a one-flesh covenant of marriage. The ancient Jews were considered bound as husband and wife during the betrothal (espousal/engagement) before becoming one-flesh in a covenant of marriage, through consummation. This is affirmed by the context of the term "bound" seen in Numbers 30:14-16.
The Jewish couples in ancient Israel, who were betrothed (engaged) were also bound together until death, either by execution for fornication, or by other causes. Then Paul says, "But and if thou marry, thou has not sinned", which is who? The men who had never married in the congregation at Corinth. So he begins with verses 25-26 speaking exclusively to men that have never married. Paul then says, "and if a virgin marry, she hath not sinned", which is speaking directly in regard to virgin women who have never been married, within the congregation, not divorced women. Notice that verse 34 says, "There is difference also between a wife and a virgin. The unmarried woman careth for the things of the Lord, that she may be holy both in body and in spirit: but she that is married careth for the things of the world, how she may please her husband." Paul speaks plainly when he says "there is a difference between a wife and a virgin." Paul goes on to say, "But if any man think that he behaveth himself uncomely toward his virgin, if she pass the flower of her age, and need so require, let him do what he will, he sinneth not: let them marry." This is speaking of a virgin who has become of age to bear children when it says, "let them marry." This is a clear command, to a single man, who has taken a virgin to be his wife. Paul then says, "Nevertheless he that standeth stedfast in his heart, having no necessity, but hath power over his own will, and hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin, doeth well." This is referring again to the single man who decides it is better not to marry, but to stay betrothed (engaged), under the present distress, by saying that he "hath so decreed in his heart that he will keep his virgin." Paul then says, "So then he that giveth her in marriage doeth well; but he that giveth her not in marriage doeth better", which again means single men, in the congregation, who have betrothed a wife, do well if they marry, and those who choose not to marry their virgin brides do better, under the current climate. For more proper context of the word "bound", let's look further down in this chapter to verse 39, which says, "39The wife is bound by the law as long as her husband liveth; but if her husband be dead, she is at liberty to be married to whom she will; only in the Lord" (1 Corinthians 7:39). For so long, these scriptures, between verses 25-38, have been twisted and used to enable divorce and remarriage, by wayward churches and teachers, and have caused many to stumble and to be trapped in unscriptural unions.
The use of the woman at the well, in regard to marriage, falsely implies that Christ was endorsing remarriage after a divorce. This teaching is in defiance of Matthew 22:23-28, which shows a woman who had been widowed seven times, and entered into each subsequent marriage without any scriptural conflicts with God's law of marriage (one-flesh covenant) seen in Genesis 2:23-24.
Mark 10:1-12 and Matthew 19:1-12 both record Christ's teaching that day beyond the Jordan. There is no mention of the words "fornication", "writing of divorcement", or "divorced" in Mark's Gospel, because Mark was not written to the Jews (as Matthew's Gospel was), but to evangelize the Romans and Greeks, who had no knowledge of the law of Moses in Deuteronomy 22 or Deuteronomy 24. All of these facts draw a clear understanding that remarriage after a divorce, under the New Covenant with Christ, is a scripturally false and baseless teaching. Please use wisdom when living in any situation against what the scriptures command.

This man is a keyboard prophet. Study Psalms 51. King Davids not only committed adultery, he also had Bathshebas husband killed to marry her. David realized his sin and went to God with a repentant heart and ask Gods forgiveness. God did forgive him and restored fellowship with him, without divorcing Bathsheba. And they had children as well. There was consequences for his sin, but loss of salvation was not one of them. If you messed up and remarried, go to God with confession and a truly repentant heart and you will be forgivin and restored. To divorce a second time, especially with children, is ridiculous. This man just likes to hear himself talk.

So my wife of 29 years decided she needed to “find herself”. She had inappropriate relationships with at least three men that I’m aware of, and fornicated with at least one of those men. She was literally a horrible wife, and at times a bad mother to our children. She was verbally, financially, and on a few occasions physically abusive to me.
I stayed with her all those years, with no intention to divorce her. But after I learned of her physical relationship with one of those men I even begged her to cut all ties with him. She flat out refused, and told me she wanted to separate for 6 months. Basically she wanted to continue to sleep with this dude and see if they had a future together, while keeping me on the back burner in case it didnt work out for them. I moved out of my house after realizing she was wanting to set me up to get arrested under false pretenses of domestic violence, just like her sister did to my brother in law. She filed for divorce after I told her I would never take her back after another man had been inside her.
Her fornication was a gift to me, otherwise I had no Biblical ground to leave.
I plan to remarry someday, and I won’t feel any guilt about the divorce. It was Biblically justified in my case. In fact I could have filed myself under these circumstances, but thought that God just wanted to have me stay in the marriage no matter how terrible it was.
The Bible is clear that adultery is grounds for divorce.
4 years later after she’s been with numerous other men, that have all dumped her, she hinted that she’d like to come back to me. There is absolutely no way I’d ever take her back.
It is better to dwell on the rooftops than in the house with a quarrelsome wife!

Very irresponsible of this pastor to encourage someone to leave a second marriage and family to return to the marriage of their youth. He conveniently left out the scripture of Matthew 19:8 ...when hearts(plural) are hardened. Notice he did not continue the verses in Matthew 19, because it goes into the ridiculousness of remarriage to husband's brother...and the eunuchs. People, marriage is suppose to be for life, but God in his infinite wisdom knew that certain acts of adultery or cruelty causing "hardening of hearts", was cause for divorce. This pastor is picking and choosing and ignoring his scripture to back his narrative. There are millions of happily long-term Christian remarriages, due to the adultery or cruelty of a first marriage, raising Godly children, and living Godly marriages and lives. If those marriages did as this man suggests, and leave those marriages and families to return to the spouse of their "youth" or remain single...can you imagine the heartbreak, chaos, and destruction of families this would create? This man, disguised as a man of God, is suggesting a plan that would allow Satan, through division, chaos and destruction, to celebrate the dismantling of millions of Christian families, causing such a degradation of family and home, having only the result of a loss for God's children and a win for everything unholy. There is a reason that this man stands before you with a dry erase board and his DIY TH-cam video. God has not blessed this man with a huge following/audience/congregation for a reason. READ MATTHEW 7:15 warning against false prophets.

There's a exponentially growing twist on (against) Matthew 19:9 KJV... due to many many other scriptures being altered in revised Bibles.
Now that Satan (via revised bibles) & the heralders of such corrupt texts, has made the literal deed of adultery/fornication seem like all in a days Christianity....
... When the real KJV Bible says a REAL Christian spouse will never ever commit the LITERAL DEED of fornication or adultery... Ever.
THEREFORE Satan's next step is to use these false Christian adulterers and adulteresses as his mounthpieces...
....to condemn Matthew 19:9 KJV, and condemn the (FAITH)FUL spouses who put them away and marry another.
Suggestion.... Don't listen to a sexually immoral (professing christian), expound on Matthew 19:9 KJV.
We're not to keep company with or even eat with them, until they repent and get TRULY saved. 1 Cor. 5 kjv

Romans 6 is not about divorce and remarriage ..it is about dying to be free from the law . and since if any of us die to be free from the law we will perish in our sin. yet that is the ONLY way to be free from the law. but Jesus died in our place and we are ,by faith , baptized into his death and raised up NEW creatures in Christ . death has occurred . so while no born again Christian can divorce and remarry , those who did so BEFORE they came to Christ have everything ended in death -every covenant save the salvation of god in Jesus is ended by death. So you cannot tell a person who has just come to faith that they must leave their present spouse and go back to a former spouse. because ALL covenants ended in death and ... as written " ALL things are become NEW . " note it is not written ALL things EXCEPT marriage " .. if you make that exception then you contradict the gospel

And also the betroth who is called a wife whose marriage was not consummated cannot be married due to a fact that GOD JESUS said whoever marries her is considered adulterer.

I recently became separated from my wife. It was mostly my fault but not exclusively. We may reconcile or we may not. I have been learning about some issues in my life that have been repressed, but the solution for solving them is to forgo all sexual activity from now on. Unless I reconcile. But since my separation I am learning to accept the need to remain unmarried and celibate. I will never remarry if I don't reconcile with my wife. I am learning to accept celibacy! It is not to be feared, and it is not a death sentence! I know of many faithful Christians who are single and celibate, some their entire lives. And only one of them is the gifted single Paul refers to in 1 Corinthians 7. The others were not chosen for marriage! Yet they are ok and doing well! God is good! Blessed be the name of the Lord!

@mel bornn I'm in agreement with you on how people have been led astray by protestant-ism. Around the late 1800's non-denominational-ism was on the rise and this was a hot topic even back then. When Jesus gave His teaching's on the subject it actually made the disciples afraid to even enter into marriage.
But today we see the fruits of false doctrine almost everywhere. Do I feel like I need to judge and correct everyone? No. But I will say this, when our church interviewed for pastoral-ship, one of the questions was whether or not a second spouse was involved.
I will leave it all to the deluded masses to figure this one out for themselves, but the scripture is very explicit...the husband of ONE wife (or spouse).
If you take a leadership role in God's Church, you must have your house in order or just simply take a back seat. Amen.

This and "once saved, always saved" have got to be the most controversial subjects to preach or teach on. Another piece of evidence for this subject is that if divorce is truly allowed, then Messiah died in vain. I say that because we were married to Him, and we played the harlot; so we deserved death, but since marriage is till death do you part - He took our place and payed the debt. That freed us from the harlot label, but it also freed Him from being married to one. Now we live in the espousal because He is only returning for a pure and spotless bride. Anyone found unchased on the wedding day will be divorced.
