- ‘They don't listen to their staff. They probably care about you more because you give them money.’ - This Ryanair flight attendant shocked passengers with his candor on the company.
The airline’s cabin crews in Spain, Italy, and Portugal announced strikes for late June and early July amid staff shortages and complaints over working conditions.

When you've already been hired by Aer Lingus and it's your last flight. 😂
O Leary owns 30% of it
@@rogerward3390 that’s a minority share though so it isn’t the same thing
How does he own 30% of it aer lingus is owed my IAG which Owen Iberia and British airways and some other airlines as well
Workers and customers can only take so much. We need to start slashing upper management and CEO pay until they stop wasting our money, burning out their employees, and providing subpar services.
@@blt4life112 hahahha lick the corporate boot! Maybe they'll let you work in the master's house.
They don't listen. Greed for the few trump's the success of the business.
In all fairness, you can fly half way across Europe for less than an hour's wage. Customers are the ones not paying. I just flew over a thousand miles for less than 1 Euro 💶 it's ridiculously cheap
@@truth.speaker Just because it's cheap doesn't make it right though. If they are treating their workers unfairly and not delivering on their services are promised, then their business model needs to change.
@@Becca_Lynn define fair treatment
Well, at least he's honest.
They're definitely gonna give that guy a raise!
Raise to sky in the way to heaven 😅😮😅
a raise? Ryanair likely give people a depreciating wage that gets smaller every year after you start. scummy company
At least he was bold enough to say the truth
Ryanair be like: gonna give you up, gonna let you down, gonna run around and desert you. Gonna make you cry, gonna say goodbye, gonna tell a lie and hurt you.
I guess even flight attendants can get Rick Rolled
@@tapalmer99 IKR? Everyone can get rickrolled.
@@tapalmer99 I believe that’s the opposite of a Rick Roll. Just Rolled.
I don’t think he minds actually 🤣
O Leary be like...oh look I've made 3 million this week now what's for dinner
Ryanair doesn’t have enough staff at the moment and they can’t afford to fire anyone
Well he lost his job that day I guess.
I don't think he cared to be honest.
i think he quit that day..
You can't lose your job because of that in Europe
@@JackOfSpades12345678
He probably did care…
And he liked it!
Probably already had a new job lined up!
Not quite as epic as the jetblue guy who quit on board, pulled the emergency slide, took 2 beers with him and bounced
Please tell me that’s true 😂
@@doddy1974 it is true. I think he was helping a passenger with their overhead baggage during boarding, but got bopped in the head by the passenger's bag, who's owner remained unapologetic. Google it, it's easy to find info on the incident. I can't remember if he was criminally charged for the act in court or whether he had to pay the airline for the replacement chute ....
Omg this guy sounds like a legend - what a way to quit your job on spur of the moment. 😂
@@staceygrahame2504 what you doing up at this time of night ?
Spoiler alert: they don't care about their customers either. We never fly Ryan air now.
I'm still using them. Cheap is cheap.
When Ryanair is €35 will you really want to pay their competitors €60 for the same flight? 🛫
Wow
Why do you think Ryanair would care about you. Why would they? Do you care about them? Grow up
It’s a budget airline like taking a bus you don’t get any extras just the bare minimum if you want luxury go elsewhere
They're too busy making TikToks calling themselves Europe's #1 airline
Bc they are, they prices are so low nearly everyone can afford to fly with them, so its the biggest airline in europe
A Ryanair flight attendant found my passport on the floor and I didn't even know I dropped it. 🙂
How do i not understand this comment 😂
They literally stole it from you and you caught them
As Ryanair flight attendant, good thing you found it
@@AviationMahin But, I didn't find my passport. The flight attendant did found it. 😬 It was a hard landing at CIA in Italy, but it was a good trip with my passport now in my pocket.🤔 I'll tell you, Ryanair had the best dressed FA I saw in Europe. 👩🏻✈️
I had a chat with the pilots of one of my last flights. They said they hate working for Ryanair because they are not treated well. I was just really excited to ask questions about the aircraft and about being a pilot. They were super nice but honestly looked depressed by their job.
When the CEO can come up with the idea about removing seats and making people stand for flights as extra profit then you kinda know how this company is ran.
@@441meatloaf no way!!
Now compare the mood with _Lauda Air_ or _Fly Niki..._ they considered their Boss as one of them.
@@441meatloafstanding would never have been allowed; but O'Leary did trade bathrooms for seats, keeping the very minimum. And he did state that anyone using the bathroom should pay a fee; and that may not be totally impossible to implement.
Never ever fly Ryan Air. Unless there is absolutely no alternative to get somewhere you have to be.
Absolutely spot on!
Why not? They are cheap
@@truth.speaker if cheap is all that matters to you - yes why not - you fly them if you want
@@_Meng_Lan cheap though
Why
Very much not the way to go, he may end up having a huge difficulty getting hired in the airline industry again because he's too much of a liability for the airlines. I know he's unhappy and probably at breaking point but now he's the one who's gonna pay for it, which is quite sad but also in these circumstances quite understandable. Would you take a risk on him?
Very unprofessional. No matter how dissatisfied you are with the company you don't take it out in front of customers. Just quit after adequate notice and do your job properly until you stay.
Yeah... Especially as a commercial pilot. Not being funny, but one of the last things I ever want to hear is the pilot sounding like this... He sounds like he's flipped his lid and doesn't care about the consequences... Slightly worrying when your life is in their hands.
There's a reason pilots have to pass psychiatric evaluations, because they can't take any chances. I can guarantee you this announcement made a few hearts race...
@@boringmonkey6958it was cabin crew you idi*t 😂😂😂😂😂
Who said this was the pilot speaking? It was a member of the cabin crew@@boringmonkey6958
It's funny but also sad to see employees being pushed to the breaking point by awful employers, then having a full on meltdown that we only used to see in movies or TV shows... just goes to show you some companies are so bad that they parody fictional companies whose main purpose in the story is to be antagonistic and terrible, maybe even evil.
Legend has it the landing was extra hard that day.
*Wow! That was fast.*
Ryanair definitely charged the passengers for that speech.
Well on the job interview they
did said they value honesty 😁
Epic resignation!
The cabin staff can also be hopeless. I recall one late flight where they announced angrily over the PA that the flight could miss the last departure slot that day if people didn't hurry up and take their seats. It wasn't the passengers fault that they screwed up with the transportantion to the plane, meaning all the priority boarding (families, people needing assistance etc) got to the plane last and found it hard to get seats.
I've used Ryanair many times, but only really when it was insanely cheap, or there was no other viable alternative.
I've flown RyanAir and had great experiences. My only complaint was they didn't have a hub at Heathrow and taking a bus from Standstead to London. Beautiful drive, but took hours
I love honest employees! 🇺🇦✌️❤️
I don't know the guy in the video, but I got to like him already. He had the guts to spit out the truth.
That’s great, but uh why do you have a flag of Ukraine in your comment? It’s got nothing to do with the video.
When you found a new company and it’s your last day and you dreamt about that moment 😂
Go for it man👍
Why am I not surprised it's Ryan Air
Flying with Raynair makes me gloomy and sad, so I always try to fly with another low cost if I can, otherwise I travel by train or stay home
I ain't complaining about nothing at 40,000 ft.
Stuff like this is what ryanair thrives off. Nothing stops them at this stage
The thing is, Ryanair offers such cheap flights that customers cannot complain, but, if they don’t take care of they’re staff then there’s an issue.
I always felt bad for them and the pilots.
FREEDOM OF SPEECH.
. BEAUTIFUL THING✊🏻
Glad he took the high road.
The 32k feet, high road 🤘🏻
The seat backs though, all the emergency info right there. You can’t help but read it. Why don’t more airlines do this??
He should take the slide as the severance package and start a bouncy castle business 🤓
I work as a pilot in another company. I have several friends and colleagues who work for the company in question and they are all disappointed.
You get what you pay for as a customer, no frills ,A to B , for low cost , as for the workers / cabin crew , they are not been held prisoner, if you are unhappy at the company, find another job , why put up with 4 years of you are not happy 🤔
Do you know how hard it is to switch airlines? It's nearly impossible, and when you do switch, you start at the very bottom of the totem pole because the way things are unionized.
You could be the #1 lead flight attendant for British Airways and if you switched to like, easyJet, you'd still have to start off as a toilet scrubber.
Lol that little speaker feedback whine at the end was a picture perfect punctuation
I’d rather walk barefoot on red hot coals than use ‘that’ airline.
Good to know you have no expectations at 30 thousand feet.
Definitely not the way to go about this, becoming cabin crew is one of the hardest processes you can go through and for many of us it's been a dream for all our lives and been knocked back time and time again, this is prime example of someone that doesn't understand the industry, the job and the way this lifestyle works, go for the job for money not love for the career and dream. If your fed up speak to your manager not a plane full of customers. 😮
His conduct says more about him than it does his employer. Completely unprofessional, tactless, and bitter.
Very tacky, unprofessional and disrespectful 😒
It is a very slimey company but l fly Ryanair 12 times a year.
So can't be that bad
@@rogerward3390 Exactly.
Id rather fly Southwest here in the states. Ryanair is trash, this guy aint wrong. Things found on the internet can be doctored to better an image but someone shooting on the company that actually WORKS for them is what I’d put my trust in.
Fair play
This is so interesting to see people starting stand up. In the 90s the CEO of Xerox (apparently ) earned a salary of $15M per year.
In 2016, I bought a Fuji Xerox laser printer, sold to me on the point that I would get 400 prints from a set of powder cartridges. After 7 pages the printer was Empty!
I bought 3 new cartridges @ $112.00 each.
Out of curiosity I opened the brand new cartridges to find they had less than a quarter of their capacity of powder. Given the size of the cartridge, I estimate that the cost by weight of the powder was the equivalent to the price of gold.
He‘s just stating the obvious.
When u pay cheap this is what u expect tbh
Ryan air: now that’s my future upper management! 😂
It's a fake video. The competition hates low cost airlines. The audio is overlaid on top of the video, you cannot even see the guy that is talking ;)
I agree, I’m a Cabin Crew actually and when we start a PA you don’t hear any chime like you listen at the beginning, you only listen to this chimes when: the fasten seat-belt sign goes on/off, when Cabin Crew call to other interphone, when pilots call Cabin Crew or when you press the Call Bell, but not when you start a Passenger Announcement
Not to mention that 90% of Ryanair Staff are not english native speakers and this guy has a really british accent
@@juangimenezsierra7408 90% of Ryanair staff are not airhosts. Hoe may air hosts are native English speakers or English speakers to a very good degree?
Be grateful of what you have. After 8 years having left the industry I have to go back flying as since august I don't find any job. I WISH NOW I HAD THAT 1400 EUROS.PER MONTH
She is tired of Ryanair's hard landing....
When I land my ears always hurt
Probably the remaining cabin crew threw him out of the plane in midair, or else they'd be all fired. Micheal O'Leary's law, far more proactive than Murphy's. ☠
Good. Keeping it real.
That was awesome
Wow!
Those seats are absolute garbage…some of the worse I’ve seen anywhere outside of Spirit Airlines in the US.
Someone shut this airline down! Disgrace!
Thank u for flying Ryanair last year 95 passengers broke there body, we hope u enjoyed urs and u join us again, RYANAIR, LOW FARES MADE SIMPLE

At least the pilots get free hot water. Have to provide their own tea bags though.
It's a bit unprofessional however bad they think their employer is.
Fair play 👍🏻💪🏻
Great he dares to tell the reality of the bad employees treatment at Ryanair.
But they don’t really care that much more about their customers, as soon as they got ur money, you are more of a burden than a customer they want to take care of.
THIS !!!!!! 😶🌫️ And I don’t say this about just Ryanair. This applies to many situational, interactional encounters.
good for him.
Remember the Germanwings pilot who deliberately crashed the plane?
Thank GOD this airline is not in America.
I love this lad. Brilliant! ❤😂
PTSD to my Ryanair flight.
I'm flying Norwegian Air (Norway)/(Sweden)
That wasn't a rant.
Yeah I flew on Ryanair it was pretty bad. I often find they’re the close in price to easy jet anyway so why use them?! And they put bright yellow right in your face on the seats?
And the stereotype of their landings was true- the pilot slammed the plane down harder than any flight I’ve ever been on (probably about 20-30)
And someone just happens to record..”in case someone will trash talk their company”
Obviously something had just happened, hence the apology.
jesus h christmas, that looks our city bus 😂
You guys are sooooo manipulative.
Defaming Ryanair is the minimum you can do to punish them for mensioning Palestine. Shame on you.
Everyone complains about Ryanair. Imagine paying much much more for slightly better service. This is the reality of flying domestically where I live in Canada.
Can we talk about the horrible seat colors?
Suprise anyone heard it,u can never hear anything
He put up with it for 4years how subservient can you be

It's a crappy airline
He was socked ☹️
You would have to pay me millions to fly airlines such as Easy Jet, Ryannair, Spirit, etc. These companies are simply pathetic
I couldn’t understand a word he said
Well, this will damage all cabin crew from Ryanair trying to get jobs elsewhere.
wow
I think Ryanair are brilliant. I have flown for many years with them and they have never let me down. !
Why does anyone fly them??
What I believe would happen later (in my opinion), as if this were to be a story:
Ryanair makes an emergency landing just to get the PA person off the plane. (The landing was HARD just like they always do), pulls up to the apron and airport police escort him off the plane. Waves of protests raged in support of the PA announcer and a boycott has started.
he probably just got a job offer at a better airline
Job Termination goes out... 😬🛩️❌
Really ?? Bad karma they flying high too 😅
I flew RyanAir last week. I wished they would have amputated my knees before the flight as there is no legroom at all.
That's because more seats = more money
Not always true. Recently there was an airline that removed a line of seats because they were allowed to have less cabin crew that way. But this doesnt make a difference when you pay your staff less than the legal minimum.
@@ye6207 i believe that airline was easy jet, your right, they didn't want to go over the 200 seat mark as they would have to employ another crew
Ryanair is Europe’s soul plane
More of you.Speak up
Their application center is a joke. Anyone in the WORLD can troll apply without any regulations and put fake info. In the US and everywhere else excluding Ryanair, you actually have to be living in your country and have basic flight training(locally before we can go to an airline and get certification by the FAA(in the US).
No, people in the US got work for airlines without any training....
Imma problem mit Gepek
