El was so brilliant. An example was Blazing Saddle where the men were sitting around the campfire eating beans. The governor was having louder gas attacks than others. His name was La Ptomaine, taken after a man in French theater. He developed the ability to take in air in his backside & play a tune with that part of his anatomy. Every show he did had something truly unusual in it. Brilliant man. Too bad people were laughing so hard they did not understand the bizarre background behind it.
Yes. Several times. I only saw Anne twice. One time the family met at the Marriot Hotel next to the Nassau Colosseum. We were kind of sitting in a corner of a large area & I couldn’t believe that no one recognised him. Everyone was so busy doing their own thing & didn’t realize Mel Brooks was there😂
I don't agree at all. He was born entertainer, and he is famous for being always "on", he have no "off" button. That's how he always is in front of friends and people, no stop jokes and funny noises :D And that's what makes Mel... Mel!
The comedy genius. Will never see another one like him
Yes we will.
Gimme a break. There were many better; there are many better; there will be many many MUCH better. Get real!!

One of the last greatest showmen. I love Mel.
Great memories sitting at the round table in the window at Cyrano's ... so many years ago. Thanks for this. Deborah

Pourquoi pas?
My 2nd cousin
Is Mel your cousin?
Yes. He’s my mother’s mother’s sisters son.
@@kithyoun wow! Have you ever met him?

It was a long time ago so my memory might not be accurate but I think that meeting was about planning his Mother’s suprise 80th birthday party.
I was intending to make a comment on this video, but TH-cam has banned me from making comments. Sorry about that, chaps.
The have Taam = flavour
Great writer and director but he tries way too hard to be a performer, he just wasn't good at it 🤣

It’s called schtick, and he’s brilliant. You get him or you don’t. He doesn’t try at all….it’s who he is.
I’ll take unpopular and delusional comments for 500
Sad that he had to play the role of the eternal Jew.
Well, he is jew and proud of it... He never needed to play someone that he is.
