No, then it would be mono! Haha. This was done by our old editor who really wasn't great with audio - our newer vids are much better in that regard. Thanks for the comment though.
Love that you mentioned Bill Putnam by name. Too many audio pioneers don't get the recognition they should. And Putnam's a big name, so I can't imagine how many engineers/producers/designers there are whose names and achievements aren't widely known.
Best 10 mins ever on compression in general and a great demo of the WA76. Yes your volume level was a bit low but when I pushed my faders up here, you could appreciate the WA76. Great video man, I am getting a WA76 here in Australia. Also got their TB12 and WA12 pres. Worth it just for the cinemag transformers they got in them!
I saw another review and the guy got a pair also. Is it now a dual compressor.cause I already have a tla audio 5050. I want to get a new comp to use on drum bus and groups and mix bus too
Would this compressor add colour to a clean pre amp (Avalon m5) And would adding colour be the right way to go using a Avalon m5 Neumann u87 and Audient id22
Great review but I have my headphones dimed & I can barely hear the content . You should reload the video with higher output
And you need to turn up the volume of this video by using your WA76

@@consordini6258 nonetheless It's a helpful video though. Thank you!
hahahahaha
Really great video and demo, man. Thanks for putting it through its paces. Way more info compared to other videos I'm seeing.
Excellent demo. Appreciate you’re preferred fast-ish attack and mod release description.

Glad you enjoyed it! Thanks for the kind words. Warm is indeed an awesome company!
i learned how to use a compressor with this better than any other tutorial
I gotta know, after 3 years do you still have the clear plastic covering the chrome on the the input and output knobs?
What's the switch? Is that so you can power it off without shutting the whole rack down? Would have made sense.
Thanks for making this review!
Great review, great examples!
Great vocal too!
Thanks, Video is very helpful. Your audio sounds far away. Otherwise I love the way you moved and zoom your camera in sudden area.
excellent demo ! thank you !
I'm glad they updated the power
That’s the stereo link switch.

Where do you modified it?

How did you bypass the WA76?
Would this compressor add colour to a clean pre amp (Avalon m5)

Yes, it'll add some transformer color and saturation. Whether or not that's a good thing is 100% up to you.
@@consordini6258 thanks for an actual reply :D
Would you use 2 on a stereo bus ?
Where did you modify your compressors to make them a stereo pair?
I ordered them from Zen Pro Audio, and they came pre-modded.
Hello! Where did you moded your untis?
Do you really recommend this piece of gear?. .. would be a good investment?
Dude what board is that on your desk
Try the Klark Teknik 76-KT.
it sucks, it uses midas components
@@MACKGORDONJR midas makes great components, do your research on midas bud.
It’s trash.
