Watching DC20 content with Skyrim lore while listening to FFX music is so surreal lol, it’s like all my favorite things!its just missing board games and disc golf haha
This does seem like a pretty cool little system. Easy to jump into and walk away from when you need to. Nice way to keep the mind sharp and thinking about RP.
This is such a fantastic example of the Character creation. I LOVE Skyrim so much! The Solo Adventurer's Toolbox is a great tool. I love it. I haven't Solo-played DC20 yet, but now I want to. I think this is how I will build my backstories for some of my characters. I love this!!
It's always nice to have DC20 content to sift through! Good job on the explanation of the character creation 😊 I'm almost tempted to start making some videos myself because I can't find any French speaking ones about this system yet...
That is interesting. I think solo play for me would probably look a lot more like writing a novel than using tables. But the flexibility and use is pretty cool.
It is very much like writing a novel, and every once in a while you just end up rolling a yes/no question when you don't know. If you do know. . . you just write it
Awesome! I'm glad it helped! It's funny, there's almost not much to show (mostly typing) but it was my hope that people would get something out of it or now try it themselves! =)
Interesting. Always been intrigued by solo games, but never watched an actual play. Might have to dip in to this style of play in future. I also have some (untouched, sadly) solo games like Starforged and Dragonbane.
Just gave it a try after watching your video. I am having a blast. As you said it is very nice to get familiar with the rules. Also a good idea for GM who have created a lot of characters they do not have much occasion to play in group.
If I had a nickel for every time I saw a ttrpg campaign start with a single very intelligent lizard, alone (solo with GM in my case), with no gear or money but the clothes on their back, and about to get stuck in the middle of a giant war, I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.
My comments keep getting deleted so I'll make this short. Solo Adventurer's Toolbox: mediocre IMO Solo RPG GME - Fantasy & D20 Random Tables Fantasy by Wilona's Cave: Well thought out youtu(Dot)be/REBbFoQwQUQ?si=upfr5LYu3jkzbTOd&t=908 example for what I mean.
Ooo I'll have to check it out! I only used Solo toolbox as it was the first I was introduced to and it worked enough for me =) I'm not sure about you comments getting deleted - it wasn't me 0.o
@@tntori5079 yeah, I probably looked like spam promoting Wilona's Cave. But on another note I might have dementia, the entire "mediocre" comment was for something I thought was on this video when it first came out about assigning a personality or dialog to an npc that ended up contradicting itself, but i can't find it now so I must have confused it with another video??? Anyway ignore the mediocre comment if Adventurer's Toolbox is working for you. In the video I hear you say you have a long history writing stories down in books and you don't need a lot of tables. For me Wilona's Cave's works offer a lot of ideas and variety to not get blocked, stuck, or bored. His videos really got me exited to try solo.
This was a lot of fun to watch! I've never tried doing a solo play but my curiosity has been peaked

It's the combo of things that make it awesome!! Gald you enjoyed!!!
Love to see this I have been soloing everything over the last two years and having a blast
It's a ton of fun! I've only started recently but it is so so much fun
@@tntori5079 it is probably my favorite way to play anymore

Shockingly simple, surprisingly versatile ;) sometimes things don't need to be complex - they just need to work

It seems so useful for rules/characters/possible plots/inspiration. . .and it's so simple too XD but I'm so glad it's helpful!
Loving the solo adventurer's content. Didn't realize it'd be so fun to watch 😊
Oh good! Glad you enjoyed it =)
This is one of the better explanation/showcases of solo play i have found. And its specifically DC20 which what I'm looking to solo play. Thanks!
Awesome! I'm really glad it was helpful and informative for you =) (I was nervous that it would seem weird or not make sense at all)

100%! You should! You never know who might find it useful!
@@tntori5079 Damnit! Why did you have to say that?! Now I have to ACTUALLY (maybe) do it! 🤣

@@tntori5079 I love that idea.
It was cool to see what actual solo play looks like. Thank you for making this video.

I'm glad I tried it because I ended up learning a lot that was beneficial to my in-person games
Great video, it made me want to try and run a solo adventure as well.
Give it a shot! You'll either have a good time or just move on to something else

In fact rules and wishes to see more of my characters is what got me to start looking into solo play! I'm glad you're enjoying it!!!

I thought it was a nifty little gag =) Glad you enjoyed
Omg this is soo cool thank you soo much for sharing
Yo TnTori popped over during the DC20 Q&A😊 Look forward to catching up on your videos here! Maybe we can do a Collab with a DC20 one shot some time!
Oh twist my arm why don't you ;) - a collab would be so so cool!
