I stumbled upon your video today. I enjoyed watching it! I too had resisted getting a rollator. I have problems with my knees and feet. The Drive Medical rollators are amazing! I invested in the carbon fiber Nitro and have been so happy with it. I now always have a chair with me on long outings. Money well spent! I'm looking forward to your updates. Gina
Since you’re sensitive to the sun, you could rent a scooter with a sunshade. Then you wouldn’t have to worry about an umbrella. Also, if you decide you need a scooter later in the day, you may not be able to get one as they can run out of rentals. Hope you have a blast!
We went to Switzerland last October. I also have severe spinal stenosis. I used my rollator-walker to train for the trip. I did great! I have kept up my wal mi ing ever since and have been able to reduce my pain and reduce my pain levels. I used to need a steroid shot every 3 months. I have not needed it for a year.
@@Grain-FreeInsights-wo1qo Thanks. We did not go to Italy. Just Montreux and the Lauterbrunnen area Of Switzerland. It was easy to get on and off all The public Transport. A little harder on busses. The trains And gondolas had doors that were even with the pavement something on and off was easy.
@@jacquiehenry5049 thanks for the info, and thanks again for your post. You’ve given me hope that I’m not crazy and using the Rollator instead of a scooter!
why bother, seem like it would be more stressful to go verses not going. The grand son will not be able to move as fast as he wants or do as much as he wants because he will be stifled by you. Sorry I would not do this to my grand kids.
Thanks for your thoughts. My daughter and son-in-law will keep up with my grandson, not me. :) I couldn't keep up with him even if I had normal mobility. LOL!

Thank you, Gina! I appreciate you! Have you used a rollator in any of the Disney parks?
No, I have not been there since I was a kid. I have it on my bucket list once I retire (in a couple of years). I would take it for that trip.

Good to know, Sally! Thank you so much.
Wishing you the best and a great time at Disney!
Thank you, Pam! Are you also a Disney fan?
@@Grain-FreeInsights-wo1qo, not so much anymore. I used to take my daughter twice a month when we lived in California.
@@Pamsgarden213 well, then it means even more that you’re here and wishing me well. Thank you so much for taking the time and being here.

Your post made my day! Thank you so very very much. Did you use your walker while you were in Italy or did you not have to use it at all?

Good news! The Mayo Clinic supports my wanting to use a rollator instead of a scooter. So, not everyone is telling me I'm doing the wrong thing. YAY!
