I have a question if weapons like Excalibur and EA are that powerful due to their origins what with Excalibur being forged by the Fae from Avalon itself and EA being created before the concept of swords even existed if we took legendary weapons from like DnD who derive their power from their legends would they also stack up to weapons like Excalibur if we used the Natsu rules?

I always liked the head cannon that Shirou or Archer were the ones to wield Excalibur against Shafar, as a way of bringing it full circle - highly illogical and unlikely, but a fun thought for me

I mean it could happen, consider the whole point of counter guardian is to protect the world and humanity from the threat that try to destroy it, Alaya might send EMIYA back to the ancient time to fight against the threat, so I see the idea of EMIYA being the first wielder of Excalibur is possible, Alaya might remove his limitations and let him be powerful enough to wield it.
I mean they can. They just die after using it. Emiya also can use it without drawback (not dying) in Fate Extra.

Something that must be said, is that we haven't seen Excalibur full power yet, much like the Excaliburn of her male counterpart, Excaliburn is limited by various oaths, in her interlude we get to lift one of them, just that one managed to improve Excaliburn rank from A to A++, and Artoria stated that Excaliburn released at full power would be once in a lifetime event.
Technically we did see it, but only in Extella’s backstory. When we see the White Titan’s invasion flashback they describe the blinding light that stops the Titan and how it came from a mere human. That game was the one who first told us that Excalibur could only exhibit its real power against Threats from the Stars. Although it is Prototype that tells us about the twelve seals of Excalibur (which FGO clarifies that it applies to all King Arthurs, not just the Prototype version).

i think the idea of Excalibur being the sword from stone comes from fan-fic like Disney
when I read the book, the story clearly said King Arthur's sword from stone broke and he had to find a replacement. that's why lady of the lake came into play and gave him Excalibur along with the scabbard. Merline asked him whether he prefer the sword or the scabbard, and King Arthur joyfully said he preferred the sword - which Merlin laughed at the idea and pointed out that the scabbard was far more valuable because it grants the wielder invulnerability to harms.

there are many versions of the arthurian legends, iirc including one where caliburn and excalibur are the same sword or where excalibur was the sword in the stone. that's probably why some people confuse the two

This actually made me think of something and that is emiya’s projection ability and how he can’t trace divine constructs and i thought that’s why he couldn’t even comprehend ea but if Excalibur is also a divine construct and it’s implied that he is able to replicate it, even if it’s to a lesser extent and extremely costly, I was wondering what’s the difference between the two and other divine constructs for that matter?
Familiarity with the object mainly- Shirou can (SPOILERS FOR FATE ROUTE IF YOU HAVEN'T READ IT) actually project avalon without any downside, despite it being a divine construct, due to it being inside his body for many years and thus easier to comprehend. The reason emiya can't normally trace divine constructs is because their makeup is beyond human comprehension.
Emiya cannot project divine construct but it can create weapons that have the same abilitys and much same fire power but those projeccions aren't comsidered divine constructs also they cost a lot of magic energy to use, about EA it is simply irreplicable like it has copyright
In Extraverse, EMIYA or Nameless is capable of projecting a lesser copy of Excalibur; Excalibur Image. The reason why he can do this is because of Moon Cell's environment that managed to expand his range of projection. And is also the reason why he can project Aestus Estus (Nero's sword) and Gae Bolg.

The only supplementary is that Mumei, when allied with other servants, has an easier time/boost in projecting things they own, but that doesn't really matter since he pulls them out when in UBW

Very likely Arcueid, Heroic Spirit are much weaker compared to when they were alive
arcueid would win. excalibur is only at full power when its fighting against threats to humanity and the planet. and arcueid is the literal embodiment of the earth so excalibur would be very weak against her

Still baffles me Excalibur is at most A++ it’s literally the planets power in the form of a blade. Plus considering its nature and the fact it defeated something that weakened and nearly eliminated nearly al the gods. Makes wonder if it could reach EX in the hands of Arcueid her being an Archetype two manifestations of the planet in tandem.
But I will admit design wise I live Caliburn over Excalibur.
EX doesnt mean strongest, it just means that it cant be measured by conventional means. A++ rank can be stronger than EX
Excalibur has 13 seals placed on it to limit its power the only time it’s full power was used was against Sefar

I was wondering if you could make a video about what can UBW can copy and not. Rho Aias for example. It looks more like a magic/enegy shield rather than physical one.
From what I understand, it isn't replicating the actual shield itself, but it's concept, in turn making the Blade Works Rho Aias a Conceptual Weapon. I don't have the greatest understanding of how it all works, but from what I understand and saw said by someone is that the original shield had 7 layers of some material, don't remember what, that acted as defenses. The Rho Aias of the Blade Works took the concept of the shield and it's 7 material layers, and turned them into a 7 petalled defense that is meant to stop all projectiles, if I remember correctly. I could be completely misunderstanding this, but that's what I understand based on what I've heard and seen from others.
@@multiversal_guardian7079 What EMIYA is projecting is still Rho Aias, he's just projecting it as a Conceptual Weapon because it's better that way(also the conceptual part is mostly in regards to it's abilities not it's form). Remember that NPs can have Alteration used on them, but also Greek Weapons are shown to be weird as shit as Odysseus shows. It's also implied that it's form changed as a result of becoming an NP

Now that I think about it. Gram while seen as a holy sword of selection like Caliburn . It's also considered a demonic sword similar to Balmung. But what does make a weapon demonic or holy in the first place? Is it the purpose of their creation? Their abilities? Or something else?

Why doesnt anyone talk about the sword that killed author, excaliburn morgan crafted it in dragons fire speacially to kill the great king in one legend anyway and I believe that legend was the basis for a Tv show about merlin for some reason. Hell maybe the fact all 3 sword have similar names is why people get so confused. That and thw fact some legends say that they are all one sword weilded at different times for diffent reasons by different people

For fate zero i would just stay away from fuyuki since your chance of being killed are much higher compared to fsn. For fsn i would just warned bazzet about kirei betrayals/maybe reveals archer's identity to shirou early just to troll with him.

If a Sword like Excalibur is always needed to kill the White Titan... Then where was Ea? Or does this mean He's Wielder is not interested in steppimg up should Excalibur not be created a timeline like LB6? Or is this suggesting that Excalibur is only stronger than Ea thanks to it drawing power from the very Breath of the Planet EXACTLY like Enkidu? But then doesn't this mean Enkidu is just as strong, if not stronger, since both Enkidu and Excalibur can both unlock the Threat to Humanity special attack when in the presence on such a Threat?
Have you tried researching the other Weapons, Tools, and Armor of Artoria, like, how much would her Fighting Style would Change if she have her Prydwen with her, or how would her tactics would've change if she used Carnwennan, due to our own History stating that she had it with her, which it's stated that it gave her the ability to turn invisible and merge with the shadows, then there's her 3 specifically named Pieces of Armor, like Goswhit, Gwen, and Wygar. Which, Mysterious Heroin X has hers as a Hat, Scarf, and her Jacket Respectively.
Also, why not do a Research on the other Wielders and Weapons that are also named Excalibur as well, aka you could explain if there's an Excalibur that Shirou would have a much easier time Replicating.
Speaking of Shirou, there's a pert where Shirou is stated to have Golden Magic Circuits.
Speaking of Magic Circuits, is there a Math or Formula on them. I mean, it stated that the Average Amount of Magic Circuits is 20 and the Average Power Output of an Adult is 25 Units. Usually, with this, Rin, for having 40 Main and 30 Sub, her Power Output would be 82.5 Units, yet, it stated that her max is 1,000 Units, which I don't quite understand for how that's possible, or what the hell is Blue Blood: Magic Circuits and such. Same goes to Magic Cores and how Artoria has a Dragon Magic Core or how powerful is a Magic Core is, compare to Magic Circuits, as well as if it's Possible to have both Magic Core and Magic Circuits.
This also includes what's the known Maximum Amount of Magic Circuits could a Person have and what's the known Maximum Output could a Single Circuit could have if it was Developed like if they're a part of a Clan / Family of Mages.
Oh, as well as your own thoughts on the other Magic Systems in other Anime compare to the Fate Series Magic System. Like Fairy Tail having a Magic Container that was described as if like an Extra Invisible Organ within the body.

Depends. From what I heard you can summon any servant even without a catalyst. Sakura summoned Medusa without a catalyst. However, a catalyst just improves your chances of summoning a specific servant
Hey Tsiah, I have a question. Can you make a video to discuss Alteration magecraft? So, based on what I have read so far both from the Wiki and other sources. Alterarion is a magecraft that give the caster an ability to give and change the properties and abilities to inanimate objects like what has been shown by Karmaglyph in El-Melloi Adventure. And do you think Shirou is capable of using this magecraft to give abilities and Properties to his projected items? And could he use Alteration to give conceptual powers to any of his projected weapons?
Dude Alteration is how he turns other wepons into arrows
@@TrueBladeSoul I'm afraid that's not how Shirou and EMIYA turn swords into arrows. It's been stated in the Wiki and other sources that they use their personal version of Reinforcement to manipulate the physical shape of their projected weapons. While Alteration, as far as I know, is to give an object a property or effect that it originally didn’t have. Alteration also mentioned to enable the caster to make drastic changes to substances such as turning metal into rubber, fire into ice, or concrete into mud. And since Alteration can be considered as magecraft related to creating Swords, in my opinion, I though that maybe it's possible for Shirou to learn how to use it. And considering how versatile the Unlimited Blade Works, I wonder if Shirou could use Alteration magecraft to a more Advance level like how he uses Projection and Reinforcement.
Since Excalibur is A++ rank and lets say borderline S what weapons do reside in the S rank and what makes the weapon so beyond if being forged by gods or other mythological being.
As far as I know there is no S-rank the closest thing would be EX and even then that just means it can’t be measured not that it’s powerful

Hmm, Gilgamesh became a Caster as a response to Grand Caster "Solomon." So is it possible for Gilgamesh to pull off the same feats, or greater than, GOETIA? Something that surpasses what Archer Gilgamesh begun but failed to complete in Fate Stay Night?
