I come from the same region and the same clan which Tekari Raj was.Its really good to see this history being narrated here.But it was really unfortunate that in the long line of capable and responsible rulers the last ruler( Gopal Sharan, not being capable enough) took the reign at the crucial time when there were some really progressive princely states like Mysore and Baroda, who were making sincere efforts to develop and modernise their states.Had he learnt something from them,then the story of the region would have been different. This region is very fertile and near to a major international tourist destination.It has immense potential to grow on its strength.Its also sad that no effort has been made either by the government or the civil society to restore the imperial palace, as it is our proud heritage.
I'm also from same clan , pokhwa k buniyad singh (dronwar) se dhokhe ka fal to milna hi tha , sunder singh pahle sanaut paragana k jamindar the , pokhwa un se prachin jamindari thi , tekari k buniyad singh ne pokhwan k buniyad singh k nam pr permanent settlement k kram me samay gadbad kia tha .
