- 1947 में भारत के 300 रियासतों में से 200 रियासतें गुजरात के सौराष्ट्र में स्थित थी। इन रियासतों के बीचों बीच थी गोंडल रियासत जिसका इतिहास काफ़ी रोचक है। गोंडल के महाराजा भागवत सिंह का अपने राज्य के प्रगति में बड़ा योगदान रहा है। ये है गोंडल रियासत और महाराजा भागवत सिंह की कहानी।

Good presentation. Some more items prevailing in state, if true, may be added be added, about maharaja Bhagwatsinhji, such as his adoption from a tailor family, construction of roads connecting all villages, tale of a lady unable to lift bundle of wood sticks helping her, construction of mile stones of four feet height, gate (darwaja) and one telephone at all villages. A tale of poor farmer living state in the early morning in Bullock cart, wheel came out, helping him to refit and took the farmer back in the state.
He not only laid rails but made workshop to construct locomotives and compartments.
New station plot- round footpaths, underground cables street lights.
Greatest job of Mahatma Gandhi's honor and the address for the first time as " Mahatma".

गोंडल उस जमाने में यूरोपीयन शहर के आसपास के लेवल का था। यहां इतना डिसिप्लिन था कि यहां नियम पालन ना करने पर आपको भारी सजा भी हो सकती थी। भागवत सिंह ने कई समाजिक रूप से पिछड़े लोगों तक शिक्षण पहुंचाया।

i was waiting about the chapter of writing "GHAVADROMANDAL".we are so proud about it.but after listing the whole story of Raja Bhagvat sing ji is much more interesting and add more value to their character.proud to be a Indian than guajarati and very much proud to be a barodian.

Fantastic. Shree Bgagvadsinhji was so considerate. Once he found woman waiting on the road side for some body to come and help her in lifting bag full of cattle feed grass. Realizing this apathy, he made high benches every now and then so women could put their bags there, take rest and could proceed further lifting the bags on their own.

You said there were about 300 princely states in India, if which about 200 were in Saurashtra.
I have read that there were 560+ princely states in India in 1947.
Is this true?
I think what he mean is Gujarat had around 300 princely states, out of which 200 were in Saurastra.

This is very superficial episode on Gondal State.You have to make more than 10 episode than only you can justify Glory and history of Gondal and particularly of Resp.Shri Bhagwatsinhji.
Mr.chavan Resp.Shri Bhagwatsinhji's biggest contribution is
" Bagwadgomandal" which is not Gujrati Dictionary but a complete " Encyclopedia".
Please take care of facts and understand difference between dictionary and Encyclopedia.

Mr.Chavan I defer with your definition of "Saurashtra" as it is "Surashtra" means Good Nation.One more thing that "Kathiyawad" is not whole of Saurashtra but a particular part which was ruled by Kathi Kshtriyas.I also observe while narrating the history you do not maintain chronology hence your viewer may get wrong information.Many times your pronounciation are also wrong.
