Being a domicile of the state and Bhopal.., I had to always struggle hard in assimilating the pieces of history to satisfy my qualm and curiosity.., also had to face difficulty while conveying the lineage, dynasties or rulers of Bhopal chronologically. All the incidents about the life of Dost Muhammad Khan and later Nawab Hamidullah Khan find mention in Shahryar M Khan's book "The Begums of Bhopal" . Interestingly, Shahryar M Khan was the son of Hamidullah Khan's eldest daughter Princess Abida Sultana, who married the Nawab of Kurwai and later migrated to Pakistan. Things like story of Rani Kamlapati, treacherous killing of her son Nawal Shah of Ginnor, betrayal of Thakur of Parson and other incidents about Dost Muhammad's life have been validated by his own descendant.
The important role that the Nawab Hamidullah Khan played in creation of Pakistan has been mentioned in numerous books. Papers from National Archive of India reveal that the Bhopal Nawab was planning to move to Karachi as he hoped to become the second Governor General of Pakistan after Jinnah's death but this plan went awry when Abida Sultana left for Karachi, without informing the Nawab. Sardar Patel and VP Menon put pressure on the Nawab to stay back, as it would have been very embarassing for the Indian government.
You are requested to first read the history correctly and then put the video, it is absolutely wrong that Raja Bhoj of Dhar has established Bhopal, it has been done by Gond kings, it was different from Dhar, Bhopal used to come in the princely state of Ginorgarh, first read this And yes Bhopal was founded by Gond ruler Bhupal Shah and yes. Earlier Bhopal's name was Bhupal.

इतिहासकारो ने बताया और ये सत्य भी हैं,भोपाल को गोंड राजा भोपाल शाह ने ही बसाया था,और पहले इसका नाम भूपाल था,गजेटियर में भी हैं,भोपाल रेलवे स्टेशन का नाम पहले भूपाल ही था,धार के राजा भोज का भूपाल से कोई सम्बंध नही था,
बाकी की स्टोरी,कमलापति रानी ने रक्षा हेतु दोस्त मोहम्मद खान को राखी बंधी थी,उनका सतखंडा महल था,बाद में उनके परिवार को त्यौहार पर बांध पर ले जा हलाल किया गया,जगदीशपुर का नाम बदलकर इस्लामपुर रखा गया,,,
आदि आदि भी बहुत सी बातें इतिहास कारो ने कही हैं,उसका भी उल्लेख करना चाहिये था,,,,,बहरहाल बाकी ठीक ही हैं,,,,,धन्यवाद,,

1. There’s no archeological evidence of raja bhoj in bhopal… u can Google it.
2. There was gond people in this area in malwa territory… there was no bhopal that time… raisen and sironj is older than bhopal they were comes under Mughal empire.
3. Rani kamlapati called Sardar dost Mohammad khan to fight from her side because her husband was killed by another raja… Sardar dost Mohammad khan fought from rani kamlapati’s side and won in return rani kamlapati told Sardar u should stay here and make a riyasat with your army then build quila fatehgarh… still there’s Tomb of Sardar dost Mohammad khan in fatehgarh bhopal
4. This is how bhopal established by Sardar Dost Mohammad Khan before him there was no bhopal and everywhere was Jungle only… ppl still says some phrases like barrukat bhopali means there was bharru trees here and Sardar people who came here and cutted Barru trees to build houses and develop area.
5. Bhopal is the only estate in India which ruled by women with 4 generations… and first mosque in London was build by bhopal begum herself and she also made biggest mosque in world Taj ul masajid in bhopal… later the area of wudhu is Saparated by government and converted into a lake… still this mosque is Asia’s biggest mosque….
