The Main Reason of the Dead Sea is dying is that is Israel Have stopped and converted the River of Jordan and used the river water for agriculture in Israel .
I agree that the negative news about the middle east is a bit much and that we as a whole whether from here or there, are responsible for all war and famine. I would feel blessed to live in the middle east where my Lord spent his days on this awful earth.
One way to save the dead sea from disappearing completely is to build a pipeline to deliver seawater from either the Mediteranian Sea or from the Gulf of Aqaba which could replenish the water as well as provide means of powere generation. This would have to be done so the the watere provided would not flood the dead sea too much - just at the rate that would replenish the Dead Sea to its previous and sustainable level
I so wish someone would do something about it. you'd think people would think a billion dollar tourist industry was worth saving if nothing else for the money it makes. go figure :/ wish i could visit it. but at least i have some dead sea mud soap lol
im jordanian,and i can see that they are not taking care of the dead sea,every time i go there,i see the same things over and over again,they are just doing nothing!!!but trust me on this the dead sea is the best area to get drunk in !!
What the children understand about saving the nature, particularly here the Dead Sea; we the adults deliberately ignore it on ground of selfishness, dirty politics and regional conflicts. The situation here is worst than Aral Sea. Please save nature to save our future generations

That is the MILLENNIAL REIGN of Christ on earth (1,000 years of peace). How does that help anyone now? It sounds like you dont care what happens to the earth because Jesus will fix everything. Why do you insist on looking outside of yourself for someone out there to fix the messes we are creating? How about we take care of our planet, show it respect, because it is one of God's creations.

I've been to the resort hotels on the Jordanian side and they are magnificent. The Dead Sea is a beautiful place. Please save it.
