Robin used to work for Crocodile and was therefore the Strawhats enemy back when she first met them. She at one point takes Luffys Strawhat off of him and puts it on her own head, foreshadowing that she would herself eventually become part of the Strawhats.
Luffy talked to the dog in Orange Town, and understood his past just by his barks. Foreshadowing of the Voice of All Things?

Just like with the franky drawing, as the gang is leaving water 7 on sunny, franky mentions how there are ghost ships with dead crews around Fishman island, and luffy says "do you think we'll meet skeletons who are still alive?". A few episodes later Brook is first introduced

It's not a big foreshadowing just because Brook is shown soon after, it would have been a bigger foreshadowing if Brook got introduced after 2 or more Arcs, because that much planning of the story is done by most writers
Thriller Bark where Sanji stood in Zoro's way when Zoro offered his life to Kuma. Sanji mentioned he should be the one to be killed because he'll be the one to cause the most trouble for the crew.
even more, arlong park hachi mentions that there is another 6 swordsman user thats stronger than him, that was the octopus guy in the fishman island park (the one that zoro fought)

First that vivre card helped them a lot. Second they gained a lot from Whole Cake island. Luffy gained fighting experience and can see a bit more into the future, Nami gained a new slave Zeus, and most importantly gained the words of the Road Phonogylph thanks to Brook. Big Mom underestimating them was a big help to the strawhat crew

Also Johnny talked about Jimbei all the way back when they were heading for Arlong park. He told about how he had let a monster loose in east blue. We only got the whole story much later when Jimbei told us about it on fishman island.
What about the fact that Sanji was from the North Blue was revealed in Skypia arc, but no one really thought about how it would have been nearly impossible for him to get to the east blue without powerful connections.
Sanji did travel with a powerful ex-pirate, plus he could have traveled through the Grand Line on the cruise ship he worked on (with a Navy escort). Germa never left the North Blue, as they still desired to concur it, until they went to meet with Big Mom for the tea party.

I remember when i saw that flash back with Shanks. I originally took it as the sea serpent getting intimidated by Shanks. When haki was revealed my mind blew.
That's how I felt. I honestly felt that the Lord of the Coast was intimidated by Shanks stare and could see Shanks true power! Instances of characters being traumatized by a stare is not too uncommon. Orochimaru did the same to Sasuke and Sakura back in the Chunnin Exam Arc of Naruto. Honestly, he was pretty badass back then when first introduced. He gradually became less so, as the show wound down. Shanks, on the other hand, continues to garner more and more hype.
I don't know personally I think that was just a cool anime moment and then later Oda came up with Haki and threw it in there as an example. Oda has stated in interviews that he had the ending for one piece planned out but as he writes towards the ending he keeps adding new things, this is why the timeline he gives for when one piece will end also keeps changing each time he is asked. So I think that this scene was originally just to show how BA shanks was, could be wrong but I think a lot of people assume Oda knew every arc and everything he was going to introduce into the series before he put pen to paper and this is just not the case. I think he saw a tool he could use based on existing shounen troupes intimidating your opponent, 6th sense, and strength of will and turned that into the power system haki later on in the story

i think you missed the best and most subtile foreshadowing of the serie :
- Corazon in the Dressrosa arc "people with the D. are " natural enemy of the gods""
- back in Skypiea, Luffy , being rubber, was already LITERALLY the "natural enemy" of a certain guy who called himself "God" and had a power of lightning

Should have brought up the North Blue conversation in Jaya in regards to Sanji as well as the ASCE tattoo connection to Sabo's pirate flag. What seemed like a tattoo artist mistake was actually a tribute to a character we didn't know yet.

Skroffy The very first time Luffy and Zoro met. Luffy saves Zoro from gettjng executed by Helmeppo and his men by jumping in front of Zoro and deflecting the bullets that were shot at Zoro with his Devil Fruit. Zoro presumably had never seen someone with Devil Fruit powers before and seemingly surprised that Luffy was able to deflect bullets with his body asks Luffy if he is the son of the devil. This happened within the very first few episodes of the series.

There were way more foreshadowing for Sanji being a prince or at his past in general. Just to start we had the conversation of him and Zoro at the Rivers Mountain where Zoro mentions something about ships that climb a mountain and Sanji sais he heared from that. The Germa Ships are exactly that. Then came Mr Prince. Zoro mentioned that Sanji would look like a prince, when he was the „ball“ in the Davy Back Fight. In a cover page Sanji had a suitcase with „Secret 1830“ on it. The number probably is more of a coincidence, but chapter 830 was the one they arrived on Whole Cake Island. Sanji told Nami and Lysop on Jaya that he was from the North Blue, they were flashed by this news, because how should Sanji have get over the Redline? Normal people normally can‘t do that. On the Thriller Bark Sanji told Kuma, that he would be the most feared by the marines, later he had a „Only Alive“ wanted poster.
Maybe those aren‘t even all, but i only listed the ones i just had in my mind, and yeah i‘m a big one piece freak if you don‘t already know by that^^‘

Honestly. I was so confused at the kuma part back then. The whole dialogue was. " hey, take my life instead. You marine might not take me as a threat now, but soon enough the one who will cause the most trouble, would be me, black leg sanji" honestly it was so incoherent back then because if u think u are gonna be such a powerful guy why would u wanna die, but now it all made sense.
Alabasta: In the panel where Ace introduced himself to the crew as Luffy's big brother, Sanji's face was the only one hidden by the dialogues. When Ace left, everyone commented on Ace being such a good brother, except Sanji. When Luffy talked about how he could never beat Ace in a fight, Sanji's face was once again hidden by the dialogue. It's almost like Oda didn't want to show his reactions to the word "brother".
Jaya: When MontBlanc Cricket told the crew how it felt to be "insulted and looked upon just because he shared the same blood with an idiot", Sanji suddenly covered up the next panel, despite being silent the whole time. He also told Usopp that he was born in North Blue and brought up in East Blue, but then abruptly cut off the conversation.
Sabaody Archipelago: Duval was mistaken for Sanji, and so had to wear an iron mask... nuff said.
They arrived at whole Cake island at ep 790...your 40 episodes Off, so it isnt Really a Coincidence. 😯

Really the first character to be that fast. Explains how he was such a big deal in East Blue.
I know this is almost 2 years old, but one of my favorites is the fight Zoro had with the samurai from Wano in Thriller Bark. And then a few years later they head to Wano.
And he happens to be a national hero there, and the sword that was just a souvenir is a national treasure.
We even learn why it's such a great sword and why it's black, since it was permanently infused with haki, like the black sword from Mihawk, introduced all the way back in Baratie.

You forgot the foreshadowing of Buggy and Shanks being on Roger's Crew. Not only did it foretell them being on the Pirate King's Crew, but it was also the first appearance of Rayleigh. Waaaay back in the Orange Town Arc.

If the definition of foreshadowing is something that "ties the story together," then the best foreshadowing by Oda has to be the question of the One Piece itself.
Right after meeting Rayleigh, Usopp asks him if the One Piece is real and Luffy cuts him off before he can answer. Then three arcs later (or at the end of a one Mega Arc) Whitebeard's dying worlds answer Usopp, "The One Piece is REAL!"
Or he was just carrying on the lie

There has been other fantastic foreshadowed moments in *One Piece* such as Laboon and the Rumbar Pirates (Brook’s former crew).
But my favorite foreshadowed moments are the Sun Pirates (“sun” tattoos on Arlong, Hachi, and the other pirates) and the tragedy within Arlong Park which is Nami’s untrustworthy relationship with pirates after she met Luffy and his crew. Nami’s tragic past was later revealed in the Arlong Park arc. Also the introduction of Jinbei, which foreshadowed in the Arlong Park arc until Jinbei was fully introduced in the Impel Down arc. His connection with Arlong, Fisher Tiger (he was foreshadowed by Boa Hancock during the Amazon Lily arc) and the Sun Pirates.
Yeah, I'm really glad that we got to know more about the sun pirates! It puts a whole new perspective on Arlong Park!
The detail about Arlong Park resembling Sabaody's Human Auctioning House takes the cake for me
The three events I’m still waiting for are The Straw Hats running into Dragon, Usopp making it to Elbaf, and Lucci saying that using Gears will cause Luffy’s body to give out eventually
All of this proves that Oda, other than some other mangaka, knows what he is doing.
You forgot what I think to be one of the biggest if not the biggest foreshadowing of One Piece : Ace's death. On the cover page of chapter 520, you can see Luffy mimicking the exact face he had when Ace died and in his hand, at the top of the deck is the “Ace of Spade” card and right on the other hand is death, represented by Brook.
But this video is still very good, just like all the others, keep up the good work.
I guess, but that's kind of a stretch. If you look at the image (source: i4.mangareader.net/one-piece/520/one-piece-65101.jpg) it doesn't seem to be a pained expression in Luffy's face. Rather, he seems agitated at pulling a Brook card. Not saddened or shocked. And the Ace of Spades is not shown prominently.
I can see where you are coming from, but if the Ace was *red* like an Ace of Diamonds or Hearts, the connection could be made somewhat easier. It's a red color, the same as hot temperatures or fire. Or _blood_ spilled on the ground. An Ace of Hearts could symbolize the love between Ace and Luffy. Even that's a stretch though.
The ace of spades is also sometimes referred to as “the death card” in gambling which is cool lol. Not only that but the “Ace” is a character archetype used in story writing that fits the use of Ace in one piece to a T. So basically aces name describes exactly what kind of character he is and his role in the story of one piece

The Kenbonshoku Haki was foreshadowed first in the Zoro vs Mr. 1 fight, where Zoro was able to "see" the placement of all three swords without seeing where they had fallen. He could hear the "rhythm" of the objects near him. He could foresee the rocks falling near him and knew to stand still to avoid being struck by falling debris. Definitely Oda had Haki in mind from the very beginning. As we, the audience, would find out years later, Zoro had actually tapped into Haki very briefly, but immediately forgot how to do it. Which makes perfect sense, seeing as how none of the strawhats knew about Haki at this point in the story or how to utilize it freely.
Oda actually brought it into the story during Skypeia, but I'm assuming he didn't settle on the name "Haki" early on. He called in "mantra" at that point. But decided to change it to Haki for all the blue sea dwellers and that became the official name for the "mind's eye omnividence" as I call it.
Here is the definition of Kenbunshoku Haki : "Though the power allows the user to predict most attacks, it can be circumvented by various means. It cannot predict inherently random attacks; for example, Luffy managed to bypass Enel's Mantra by bouncing his fists off a nearby wall, to prevent himself and thus Enel from knowing where they would land."
So what Zoro was using was not Haki, but it's similar to Haki, when he was hearing the rock falling, he was not evading them, instead, he know where the rock, gonna fall. Kenbunshoku Haki has something similar, but the user predict an opponent's moves and make it much easier for them to evade the attack with enough skill. Zoro was also able to sense where his sword was, while no Haki users who are known to have this ability.
Zoro didn't move and he said he was not evading those rock. Haki users, on the opposite, evade attacks.
Not necessarily. Haki users just predict the intended attack of the opponent. They don't necessarily evade it. If they know an attack will miss, they will stand still.
Zoro "sensing his swords" makes far less sense than the Haki explanation, because Oda never introduced such a concept into One Piece. How did Zoro "sense his swords" exactly?
Zoro foresaw where the swords fell. That's how he "sensed it." He may have said he sensed the swords location, but again, he did not know of Haki! He may have immediately had the foresight, without realizing what he had felt, and just thought it was a sense of the sword's presence under the rocks.

One lie from usopp that you forgot to mention is that he said multiple times he has “8 thousand men under his command” which is kinda true since he has thousands of people who consider him a god after he saved them at dressrosa .
Very minor one, but when Nami gets in a fight with her mother about hand-me-down clothes, it's started over a shirt with a sunflower. Her mother draws a face on the sunflower, telling her it's a lion and foreshadowing the Thousand Sunny.
My favorite was more recent. During the tea party Dufeild makes a comment about Stussy's age, to witch she replies "keep it up and you will die." It's small but i don't hear anyone in the community talking about it and so I feel like no one realized

Stussy was displayed as one of the big mafia bosses. There is not much to assume or foreshadow there, especially since not that much later she is revealed to be part of CP0, when the Tamate Box fell
Actually this IS foreshadowing since it was revealed in the current arc that the ACTUAL stussy is the old woman who's son is claiming to be whitebeard's child. The stussy we first saw was her clone made by vegapunk.

My favourite forshadow is when eren from attack on titan said “Im gonna destroy the world!” in season 1
Possible future foreshadowing:
1. Law-Luffy-Kid alliance - at the slave house in Sabaody 3 pirate captains stepped out to fight the marines: Luffy, Law and Kid. Law already is an ally and Kid, now captured by Kaido, will be more then likely rescued by them and join the alliance
2. Franky eats the Paw-Paw fruit - very popular theory, evidence is all over the place
3. Burgess eats the Spring-Spring fruit - at the colloseum Burgess used some spring gauntlet to make his Shockwave Elbow attack, and it looked awfully similar with Bellamy's fruit

I'd say the foreshadowing of Luffy's fate being similar to Gol D. Rodger's. When I first noticed that Rodger gave himself up on the sole fact that his adventure with his crew was over as there was literally nothing else to do but kill everyone or die, I feel like Luffy will meet such a fate. He might not hand himself over to the Marines end his life, but he'll die by his own will when he too has done and has owned everything the world has to offer.
Another piece of incredible foreshadowing is Norland talking about him seeing a tribe of little people. And this is not foreshadowing but I love the connection beetwen Laboon and Brook. Is just a masterpiece in storytelling and caring about everything in you story.
Number four sent a real shiver all the way through my body cuz I hadn't even thought about Alabasta in so long and this huge hint to Sanji's heritage was just blaring and our faces the whole time

You forgot the big foreshadow that was in first ep. It was when luffy met zoe. Zoro said something like "who are you, a son of a Devil" but little did he know , that luffy is actually son of a devil.

The first one you mentioned is very lame in my opinion, an even better one, which i think should have made the list, is when Buggy refused to go up against Ace even though his crew told him to. Buggy said that Whitebeard would bring all his wrath and fury against those who try to harm one of his own... which we saw happening at marine ford.
When Buggy first met Ace it was still early in the series. That was some foreshadowing way ahead

Chapter 162: luffy eats a cactus and is hallucinating about a tsunami and says lets combine our strengths and blow it a way. Jump forward in time to water 7 where luffy and zoro use the 300 pound cannon to blow a hole in the aqua laguna
I wouldn't call it foreshadowing just yet, since it hasn't and isn't guaranteed to happen, but I get the feeling that close to the end of the series, Luffy's gonna lose an arm saving somebody's life.
In terms of *actual* foreshadowed events, though, I personally love Laboon and Brook's backstory. I think this was one of, if not the first, the first of the foreshadowed events to actually happen, which made it all the more amazing. And coupled with the amazing backstory, it really stuck with me.
The problem is tho he can’t do it the same way shanks did. He can’t save someone from the water so the only way he’d be able to do it would be if he was shielding someone from a sword attack

for Sanji you forgot to mention the part just before Skypia I think it was where he eluded to the fact that he was from the north blue and when he crossed the grand line he pretty much said that he had done this before which led many to believe he had some royal or authoritative background. AND !!!!! SABO WAS ACTUALLY IN LOGUETOWN!!! HE IS THERE IS ONE OF THE PANELS! just before Dragon turns up
Yo, you should do a top five foreshadowing events theory video for events you think are forshadowing.
As an example, I've seen a theory around that tashigi is actually kuina, using hints like they never showed her death on-screen, smokers lack of surprise at seeing dragon, and the fact that dragon is known for taking in amnesic injured children.
Whether or not you like that theory, its my example of what a top-five forshadowing theory vid would be.

during the the war at marineford when luffy collapsed, he got up again and said to someone "Ace is my ONLY bother" idk if it was a foreshadow, but it hit differently after knowing that sabo was still believed dead at the time

Moria mentioned kaido defeating him in thriller bark,ace learned how to make straw hats in wano which we learned in the Marineford arc , Lola said her mother was a great pirate in thriller bark, Haki has been referred to as „That technique“ countless times before its reveal and there are at least 100 more foreshadowed events in one piece some bigger than others but still so amazing

Nah, that's too straightforward. I think it'll be something more symbolic, like the sakura trees blooming in winter, something that changes you from the inside without even having to touch you. A miracle, as Hiluluk put it.

There was also a foreshadowing about kaido’s devil fruit. Back in Punk Hazard, a dragon was chasing kinemon and zoro, and kinemon jump immediately on him with a lot of anger.
A good one is Ace's tattoo. We all know now that the S is crossed out because Ace thought Sabo died but we didn't even know about Sabo until like 300 episodes later

The foreshadowing is one of the best part of One Piece. Its so much better to look back and think "ohhh so that's what that was" instead of just pulling it out of nowhere like Naruto's chakara element types, or any of that 6 paths stuff etc, or even Nen and nen types from Hiatus X Hiatus. It could be argued that those were hinted at but not nearly in the same way as one piece does, where it makes it not feel like it was made up on the spot.
