For your first video you did extremely well. My only comment would be the last segment of you wrapping up, the camera was shaky. Besides that well done and thanks for the transparency and helpful info! Greetings from Canada! :)
@@CrazeeCanuck thank you, I am working hard on video quality etc and learning how to edit and everything so hopefully with each video everything improves.
I am opening my first boutique location to expand my laser hobby in to a small business. I don't see myself leaving my current job, but I do want to sell in parallel on Etsy. Your channel really interests me! Just finished the video. Good stuff! I would recommend getting an inexpensive gimbal for times when you want to film yourself like a selfie. The auto stabilization will make your video less wobbly. I'm excited to follow your journey!
Thank you, I have already upgraded all of my camera equipment for future videos as I really wasn't happy with the stabalization etc. Good luck with your botique :)
Hi, loving the videos! I’ve just bought my first laser. It’s nowhere near as fancy as the Xtool but it’s a start. Your videos are certainly a motivation for me so keep them coming. I’m designing my first pieces, taking photos and soon I’ll be opening my own Etsy store alongside my full time job. You gotta start somewhere right? Cheers Alex
Really informative video, and awesome for your first one. I am in a similar position, I work full time in a really well paid job (over 50k) but I also hate it. I've been woodworking for years now and made some awesome stuff, I also do CNC stuff and recently got the P2S for laser engraving. I just need the push to start a store on the side lines but dont know where to start. But your video is very helpful thanks and I hope you get more following on youtube
Our second video on our channel is full of advice and tips on where and how to start. It is called How to start a successful laser business and is available right now to go and watch, this will give you a great place to start. I wish you the greatest luck!
Hi, Your video's are so informative. I have just bought the P2S and F1 and need to find somewhere to buy the supplies, like the wood/acrylic. Could you suggest places? Thanks
Hey! Very informative video, thanks. I was just wondering, in your stats it says how many countries you reached… do you ship to USA? this has always been something I’ve wanted to do but never really understood how to do it. Cheers
@ thanks for the response! I’d appreciate a video on how you achieve this, do you need to register in the countries you ship to or is it simply just shipping to their address and that’s all? Have a good evening
Firstly great video. Looks like you know your stuff . What's the actual profit on your revenue of 51k Id be really interested in the actual profit margins after expenses like advertising etc. You could literally be spending 49 k on advertising and turning 2k profit on 51k A breakdown of costs would have been really useful. Turnover just means you are busy unfortunately. When you say you had to work all those hours it doesn't sound very appealing. I guess if it's only a 30-40k salary you are trying to replace it might be OK. If you really love the grind
I will have another video coming soon going over turnover however to answer your question profit from Etsy alone for 2024 was a little over £39k, this was my first video so still getting the hang of everything but trying to include as much info as possible so thanks for the heads up for the future.
Just wait till etsy will accidentally bans your account for no reason, what would you do then? They will not allow to open another shop. Always have plan b.
I have more than Etsy :) But as long as you follow the guides and policies laid out in the sellers handbook, your account wont be banned. or at least shouldn't be banned lol

Super helpful, even though I run a different business. The visuals were great 👍
Glad it was helpful! Thank you!
Great job on the video! Hope to see more and lots of examples of your work.

Do you produce your own backing cards or do you buy them in?

Yes we ship to the USA, We ship everywhere apart from restricted countries and Germany because of the Lucid ID fiasco.

I'm a New sub, could you please put conversions into your videos? Putting in 10 pounds is how many US dollars? etc etc
I will keep this in mind going forward, if you want to know conversions for this specific video you can google the conversion rates :)
@tendertreegifts I know I can Google, I was just trying to give a suggestion to make your videos worth my time. My mistake, best of luck.

Bir sabah uyandığında hesabın suspend olabilir. Sadece Etsy ye güvenmen hata olur
This is a good point and we don't however if you follow all of the policies outlined in the sellers handbook you shouldn't ever have any issues.
