@@kzr_1613 You maybe surprised actually. The trick to it is a distill tapper, meaning that the blade get thinner to the point. This will save weight and have a better balance. Awesome! So with large swords with the handle in the middle of the tang, there's this effect that happens when making contact where the blades edge wants to roll off to one side. With the large knife and the handle being aligned with the spine of the blade there is no rolling, the edge sticks where you put it.

End result is pretty cool, though. Would be awesome if you guys did one of the trick weapons from Bloodborne. For example the saw cleaver might be feasible.
+CeetjeBeetje Yes, the end result is really cool. That's why I am not blaming the team, their job is always awesome ! Heck I think I like their great knife more than the one they were trying to reproduce. As for Bloodborne... It's the only thing I ever asked them to do, and I asked a lot when Bloodborne came out. Saw cleaver is totally feasible ! The axe too. Maybe the double blades, or Gerhman's scythe... I saw some awesome cosplay with weapons that works, only not in real steel. So I think a lot of them are possible. The saw cleaver might be the most easy to recognize and identify to the game though.
The original games and all the games were based on the small Pennsylvanian town of Centralia. (hence the fog and flames) There's a fire raging just below the streets that has been burning since the mid 60's and won't stop for another.... Ooh... 200-300 years. (Chernobyl will be relatively inhabitable before Centralia stops burning.) the movies were filmed there as well.
I thought so, but couldn't remember since its been about ten years since I played the original games. I think they still did justice to the blade as far as referencing silent hill two cutscenes as well though. If anything the first movie got right it was the "creature" designs, even if pyramid head had no place in the movie.
Holy shit... I just cant imagine the amount of blood, sweat, and tears were put in to this piece. You can just see the eye bags growing bigger further into the video.. Especially Matt, you can already see how tired and exhausted he was at the end of the vid.. Fuckin great job guys!
ya know what I agree. that would be awesome. but the only problem with that sword is the twist. it's very tricky to twist metal and the entire blade is twisted. but I don't doubt it can be done.
I've always wondered, what do you guys do with the swords and stuff after you make them for the video? Do you hang them up around your shop? Sell them? Donate them to a charity auction?
+Yourname942 or almost any of the bloodborne weapons honestly. Kirkhammer, blades of mercy, Whirlygig Saw. I would love to see any of them. If anyone can do it justice it will be these guys.
Commodore Luna That's what I was thinking. It may be hard to pull off the electric blue 'glow' effect but I believe that they could rise up to the challenge.
I would love to see you make an original sword, 1 that the whole team has some sort of input in it to showcase individual skills, maybe some sort of a hybrid sword that could be used in a game, TV show or a movie (present or future). Something unique & owesome, something that screams out Stagmore Brothers. That's what I would love to see
Sorry autocorrect, I meant Stagmer brothers, something that screams out Baltimore knife & sword, something that the shop feels it's worthy of being in a game, TV show or a movie. Love the show guy's, keep up the good work, love from the cold & miserable UK
My first time watching one of your videos. I just started back into smithing and am actually still trying to build up my shop and equipment. I have everything but the Forge body and have been debating on the style I want. I already built my double burner for it and it works great. Purple Heart is also some very hard wood. I dabbled in smithing as a teen and even blew myself up once. Actually it wasn’t that bad but I was actually trying to fold aluminum and caused it to explode and it did knock me backwards. I also found and old knife and refinished it and put a deer antler handle on it. I’ve been watching several channels on TH-cam. Like Black Bear and Outdoors 55, Green Beetle, and Freerk Wierenga, plus. A few more and now I’m adding yours. Nice job.
+ItsPnutBJTime First off, no, that battle would make me cry at the lack of anything real (except for maybe Pyramid Head) and second, Pyramid head would win. He can't be killed (conventionally), and has that giant metal pyramid to protect from anything major.
+Bender B. Rodriguez There's a lot of moving parts in that blade. It would be more machined than forged. Not that the folding blade isn't awesome as hell though.
Christ, that thing is massive. Excellent work, guys. I can't imagine how much of a pain that thing actually was to forge. Just because I have that kind of mind, I find myself wondering just how much power that thing would have and how much damage it could cause compared to historic blades and great swords. Now how about doing something a little simpler like Ruby's ax, Crescent Rose, from RWBY (pronounced "ruby," if you weren't aware). I'd also love to see a zweihander just because I love those things for some reason.
It would actually not be that great of a weapon. Just try to open a femoral artery with that and you will find yourself failing miserably. Severing tendons or causing accumulating small bleeding would not work because of slow speed and lack of proper edge either. The speed is a whole another problem, as is the unwieldiness. In the time that a guy using this sword has managed to close distance and swing at another guy that is using a spear, the guy with spear has already caused at least 3 half-foot deep stab wounds and taken out the left lung, liver and smaller intestine. If the guy with this "knife" does not collapse quickly from massive blood loss, he will drown to his own blood, or barring that, die from horrible abdominal cavity inflammation. Sword's whole raison d'etre is being a fast weapon.
I know it's impractical as a weapon and would be a completely laughable idea to try and use it as one. I was more talking about just a single good swing with it sharpened to a proper cutting edge with someone (or a machine) that could actually swing it with any kind of power and/or any resemblance of precision.
Aaron Turner The problem here is still, like I said, that it is fairly dull. The blade body is too thick as it needs to support the width and length and the blade wedge is too short. Think of it like a wood-splitting axe blade. Not very sharp, but it's not for cutting wood. This could be somewhat remedied with a hollow ground blade structure, but that is clearly not featured in the object of this video. Sure, swing it with power and it will smash bones and tear skin and ligament, but not that much more than an iron rebar of identical weight and length. Still, crushing somebody will undeniably cause horrible and certainly fatal injuries.
Ruby has a scythe, not an axe. It's also a gun. It would impossible to fully recreate Crescent Rose. The best they could do is make it's scythe form without it being able to shift forms or shoot.
+Antonio Di Crisci what about Penny's swords, or Gambol Shroud they're not as iconic, but in reality they'd still be awesome, and maybe a little more realistic to make.
Antonio Di Crisci I'm not saying it's not epic, hell if they made it I'd probably do whatever I could to buy the damn thing. The problem is that Cresent Rose is a multi-sectioned build, and so if they go realistic they'd be spending all their time designing it as a collapsing piece, and that would be WAY more complicated than anything they've done similar (assassins creed hidden knife, basically) On the other hand, even as just a scythe weapon, it would still be a mash up of lots of smaller blocks and pieces to look right, it's just too much of a mechanical design, and less focused on being a giant blade (which is basically what they make/are known for making) it's just the worst weapon to build from all of RWBY. The closest they've come to making anything that looks remotely as intricate as CR is the Halo Gravity Hammer, and that was compared to the game, a little lacking in detail (it's long and hard work to make stuff, i don't blame them)
+Megidramon I'd rather like to see Weiß's Rapier because I think Crescent Rose is just way too far over the top. Or maybe Jaunes sword and shield but that shield has to be collapsible and work as a sheath for the sword.
Gaehhn Only reason I don't say Weiss's Myrtenaster is because it's literally the exact same thing as when they made Squall's Gunblade, except as a rapier instead of a broadsword. They've proven that they can do that, so why bother. Now Crescent Rose would be an interestng challenge. And it doesn't even have to be collapsible, it just has to look like and function as a scythe.
Could you imagine criminals walkin it all like "Hmm what to steal what to steal... **Ilya comes out of nowhere with the hreat sword of artorias** howdya get in? **Criminal** nothanks kbye i was lookin
Dr. Hugo G. Hackenbush well yes. But would you try to shoot at a 6 foot 7 man? Wielding a. 4 foot buster blade? While swinging it at you? I wouldn’t. To do that i would have to stop and aim.
Looked at the mechanism and it looked more like a switchblade within a switchblade. I was trying to run possibilites in my head but all I could come up with was the dual switchblade mechanism
+Camiel Hirschberg Check out michaelcthulhu on TH-cam he made two variants of this sword using welding. I think he made one that is a lot bigger as well.
+Jamescrab If you think is is advertisement then you're fooling yourself. I'm just providing someone who appreciate this piece of work with similar pieces of work so they have more to enjoy. It's like referring someone who likes a song from Adele to a great cover of Adele or another great Adele song, there's nothing wrong in that. Try and upload a few videos to your channel, wait awhile and then you will see what a real asshole advertiser is - they usually get blocked by TH-cam filters but they will still appear in your TH-cam-mail Inbox.

all hail Ainz Ooal Gown!
+Frost Sprite (Frostsprite OC) Ainz Ooal Gown Banzai!
How about the Illidan's warglaives from World of WarCraft?
+SnakeEyes327 I will agree the Warglaives Of Azzinoth would be incredible
+SnakeEyes327 Damn i thought about it as next.. Warglaive pair will be epic :)
I’d love to see the Coiled Firelink Sword from Dark Souls 3
ya know what I agree. that would be awesome. but the only problem with that sword is the twist. it's very tricky to twist metal and the entire blade is twisted. but I don't doubt it can be done.
Corvo's Blade from Dishonored!!!
Please!!!!
oh yeah baby
YES YES YES! THE WORLD NEEDS THIS
I've always wondered, what do you guys do with the swords and stuff after you make them for the video? Do you hang them up around your shop? Sell them? Donate them to a charity auction?
Yeah I wonder that too
I think they have a shop and sell them.
they dont sell them
they can't. copyright laws and everything
What do you mean copyright law?
Artorias' Greatsword from Dark Souls ? Pretty please ?
Artorias' Greatsword from Dark Souls
+ArchaicMuse Orstein´s dragon slayer spear would also be good.
Falchion Form Fire Emblem awakening.
+ArchaicMuse I woult love to see the Estoc from Dark Souls
+Chrom 365 already done
Imagine how much I would pay to have one of these
Knights should have used the blade design in medieval times.
You guys NEED to do Ludwig's Holy blade. I guarantee you've never made something like this.
+Yourname942 or almost any of the bloodborne weapons honestly. Kirkhammer, blades of mercy, Whirlygig Saw. I would love to see any of them. If anyone can do it justice it will be these guys.
+kyle rogers I think it would be a real challenge to make a trick weapon like that, wonder if they could make it work :P
+Yourname942 I'm hoping for Blades of Mercy but I doubt it.
HOLY CRAP THIS
+Yourname942 Some of the new DLC weapons. Rayoka and the bow blade. Been thinking that for a while.
Could you guys please do the mace of Molag Bal from Skyrim
or the Greatsword of Artorias from Dark Souls ?
Pls!
+Ready to Die the mace of Molag Bal all the way
Or the dawnbraker the daedra artefact.
+Brunneis Ursus yessss
+Ready to Die holyshit that will be really hard to make, those details!!!! but it'll look sick for sure. i mean molag
Corvo Attano's Sword from Dishonored.
+Caber Knight I would love to see that.
HELL YEAH that would be freaking awesome
+Caber Knight Im not alone! Yes!
YESS YESS YESS!!!!!!
that's be dope to see
Watching videos like this really makes me want to get into blacksmithing.
Epic job guys! Could you make Zer0's sword from Borderlands 2?
That would be so awesome.
yes!
+Chase Allen Metal's not realy an optimal material for that one, although they could probably pull it off by tempering it to give it a blue-ish hue
+Chase Allen I rather see Kriegs Buzz Axe
Technically, Iron Man's Sword is an original creation...
(I'd make the "What video game is that from" joke, but it already got a bit of hate...)
true but I know they can do better, Luke 100 times better
I agree with you
What they did upgrade to a sword, like evolve it or something like that
even though this might not get done i am still suggesting the infinity bade from the infinity blade game series
It'd be impressive looking but doable yes
+ulquiorra schiffer yes the infinity blade would be AWEsome!
Yes plz😂
Nice job.
Can you guys do that special sword from Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon? You deserve a break after all these giant builds. lol
You mean The Green Destiny, very good, Ilya would be ace at that!!
Yes! Green Destiny, thank you. ^^
The Buster Blade (FFVII) vs. Pyramid Blade (Silent Hill) vs. Dragonslayer (Berserk)
IT'S TIME FOR A DEATH BATTTLLLEEE!!!!
ItsPnutBJTime no
Lol yea it is
+ItsPnutBJTime First off, no, that battle would make me cry at the lack of anything real (except for maybe Pyramid Head) and second, Pyramid head would win. He can't be killed (conventionally), and has that giant metal pyramid to protect from anything major.
Vs tapions sword or the z sword from dbz
+aqwardpanda he specified the swords not the people/things that use them so pyramid heads immortality doesn't matter.
Corvo's assassin blade, from Dishonored ^^
+Bender B. Rodriguez folding, please!
+Bender B. Rodriguez yes!
+NieroshaiTheSable of course =)
+Bender B. Rodriguez that would be great but they should save that for when dishonored 2 comes out, for the hype
+Bender B. Rodriguez There's a lot of moving parts in that blade. It would be more machined than forged. Not that the folding blade isn't awesome as hell though.
Silent Hill is my favorite horror game/movie. The atmosphere was amazing and those damn nurses 😱
The Umbra Blades of Nocturne from League Of Legends .
+Ege Coskunsoy or yasuo sword
+The Brother Hood What if Yi's sword?
+Shan Owlsome they have done that!
Alex Cucina Yah. I've already watched that but I commented this before they made Yi's sword video. ^_^
+Ege Coskunsoy HOLY SHIT YES
illidan's warglaives
+Koolk treurniet SO VAI
+Koolk treurniet oah shit how could i forget about my fave WoW Universe character , now them warglaives i would love to see
+Koolk treurniet Dont dream, people ask warglaives for years...
+Koolk treurniet Blizzar already made a limit edition but gorehowl...
+Koolk treurniet that may be too much for them but I like the idea.
The best they could do is make it's scythe form without it being able to shift forms or shoot.
jfunk1994 Son of a...I just noticed that I called an ax...dafuq was I thinking? I'm almost tempted to go and edit my initial comment now. lol
Cant wait to be hitting survivors with this when the DLC comes out!
You either get it or you dont lol
R.I.P Blendettes
Many DC’s incoming
Now that, my friends, is what I call a sword from Hell.
When I was younger I had a huge crush on Pyramid Head, nobody is ever gonna see this comment so it's fine
I saw it
+closetwarrior Well this is awkward
Oh no...
Oh no.
Nobody look
+closetwarrior Or "triangle girl"
Such curves -insert Lenny face-
Hope it's not too much trouble but how about making The Infinity Blade? That would make you the new Worker Of Secrets ;)
Also, you guys do an awesome job. You've got a new subscriber
+Greg Young it was actually made by someone else, and it was sent to ChAIR, they took many selfies with poses with it
+Nguyen Nguyen Khoi who cares? these guys are the freakin best and would do an amazing job
Yes Please!
is anyone here watching this due to pyramid head comin out in Dead By Daylight?
See you in the fog
@African Warlord nice
@@ch34vls98 See you to mate
Yep
Nope im watching cus im a huge silent hill fan.
But if it wasnt for dbd i would of never played silent hill so yeah
that's fucking sick dude. Silent hill is one of the most recognizable games ever and you've just done them right. GG my friends
Warglavies of Azzinoth, pleaseee!
+Vast Majority THIS PLEASE OMFG.
+Vast Majority Yes please, been asking for something else from WoW for awhile now lol
+Vast Majority I'd rather see The Ashbringer over the warglaives
yes, absolutely. also would be a great tie-in for the release of Legion
+Vast Majority And to make them somehow glow would be awesome as fck
Please do the Crescent Rose from RWBY!!
yess!!!!
+Antonio Di Crisci what about Penny's swords, or Gambol Shroud
they're not as iconic, but in reality they'd still be awesome, and maybe a little more realistic to make.
+Winter_Chill i agree with gambol shroud
+Winter_Chill yes they're awsome, but there's nothing as epic as the Crescent Rose :D
Antonio Di Crisci I'm not saying it's not epic, hell if they made it I'd probably do whatever I could to buy the damn thing.
The problem is that Cresent Rose is a multi-sectioned build, and so if they go realistic they'd be spending all their time designing it as a collapsing piece, and that would be WAY more complicated than anything they've done similar (assassins creed hidden knife, basically)
On the other hand, even as just a scythe weapon, it would still be a mash up of lots of smaller blocks and pieces to look right, it's just too much of a mechanical design, and less focused on being a giant blade (which is basically what they make/are known for making) it's just the worst weapon to build from all of RWBY.
The closest they've come to making anything that looks remotely as intricate as CR is the Halo Gravity Hammer, and that was compared to the game, a little lacking in detail (it's long and hard work to make stuff, i don't blame them)
Do DANTE'S INFERNO- Death's Scythe (DANTE'S SCYTHE)
That would be bada$$
awesome idea.
that would be the best
that would be the best
ɷ Heeeeyyy Friendsss I Have F0undd Workinggggg Online Hacck visitt : - t.co/a6Jzmd0emq
WOW... ¡¡that´s amazing!! You do it very well. Great job guys!!!
+martin nesco PD: I think this is the biggest weapon you have ever made.. spectacular..
love the build, and at 8:45 or so the man working the guard is looking like pyramid head is possessing him lol
I think no one in youtube is putting as much effort in videos as you guys
Ruby's Crescent Rose, please? I'll be asking every video until it happens. I'm dedicated lol
+Megidramon This oh, god we havn't had a scythe yet!
Yes they do should do that or even another scythe because I don't believe they have done one yet so it would be so awsome
+True Rue How about Soul's scythe form from Soul Eater.
Greatsword of Artorias (Cursed)
+Croiwanssant yesssss i was came here for say that
Me too!!! But i wished to see the uncursed version...
+Croiwanssant To tell the truth, any version of his greatsword would be good. My favorite is the Abyss Greatsword.
+Croiwanssant It has already been done by someone else. MLGS would be cooler too as it is representative of the entire Souls series.
+Croiwanssant YES!!!
Could you imagine criminals walkin it all like "Hmm what to steal what to steal... **Ilya comes out of nowhere with the hreat sword of artorias** howdya get in? **Criminal** nothanks kbye i was lookin
Nah. Maybe the Dark Sword, but Artorias' blade?
@@scribese7en No
this is the coolest thing i have seen in a while. first video ive seen on this channel and im excited to see more!
These guys would be masters at cosplaying and i don't give a crap about what you say.
Red_Milk I know Matt does and I think illya does too
Cept for the fact they wouldnt be able to do it publicly
Mohchii who would actually try to stop them? They got swords.
@@lyricaltherapy6293 People with guns.
Dr. Hugo G. Hackenbush well yes. But would you try to shoot at a 6 foot 7 man? Wielding a. 4 foot buster blade? While swinging it at you? I wouldn’t. To do that i would have to stop and aim.
do nero's red queen from Devil May Cry 4
Red Queen should be nice :O
+ChronoBaron
OOOOOORRRRR, any weapon from any of the Devil May Cry games. 'Cause, you know, they are all cool as shit.
KingofWar07 True
+KingofWar07 they did the rebellion!
+ChronoBaron Better yet, Nero's Aestus Estus from fate.
Corvo's Folding Blade, mechanics included ;)
This should be a bit of a challenge
is that even possible?
Dumahs Assassin Honestly, I don't know, but I'd like to see them try ;)
+Rollo HB It would be interesting to see if they could do it.
+Dumahs Assassin always figured it was basically an over-sized switchblade mechanism
Looked at the mechanism and it looked more like a switchblade within a switchblade. I was trying to run possibilites in my head but all I could come up with was the dual switchblade mechanism
The amount of protection they were using look like rainbow six siege operators.
Wow, that is a really impressive blade !
Sawcleaver from Bloodborne
+Analyn Rockbell Blades of mercy would be pretty cool too.
+Analyn Rockbell The sawcleaver would be an awesome challenge for them; especially because it folds in half.
+Analyn Rockbell what about the Bloodletter from the old hunter DLC
that would look so sick! they have to build that
It would be awesome if they made either the whirligig saw Ludwig's holy blade or the stake driver
Imagine if someone broke into (the guy who keeps this sword)'s house and all he did was bring this sword out and say "Run."
“I saw this boat in half!”
Nice weapon. You guys always do nice work. Awesome
+Rodney Aka what about the Rose Quartz Sword and Shield from Steven Universe
The hobo furnace of doom, lmfao....
Limão é meu pau, gringo
@8:48...
Hmm.... Could you maybe make... Bankai: Tensa Zangetsu - Final Getsuga Tenshou?
+Tarryman Yes, I like that idea. :D
Is that before or after my favorite bleach sword katen Kyokotsu ?
+Tarryman How exactly are they going to make the Final Getsuga? You know...that's more an outfit then a sword?
Angel almanza
It's not really armor, but can you really see them making THIS wackiness in real life?
images.wookmark.com/114642_kurosaki-ichigo-final-getsuga-tenshou-1440x900-wallpaper_www.wallpaperto.com_59.jpg
In terms of ambition and execution this might be the best thing they've made
Old School RuneScape godsword(s) please.
yes yes yes yes yes
or korasi sword from runescape 3
miesmies4 Armadyl godsword, whichever version is more interesting looking, imo.
+Ratman Rune Scimitar
+Ratman not to mention its 15 yrs old now, it would be a good reason to make this build!
You guys are so good at what you do. It's fascinating. what would really be cool is a Khopesh.
+Samuel Leumas they DID make one a few months or so ago :o
+Samuel Leumas See Diana's crescent moon.
+Voxelpod Thanks guys.
Yall should totally make the sword from Edge of Tommorow
Yeah! That would be awesome.
+Immunities In the original novel it was a giant axe, 10 times way cooler than sword from the movie. I prefer they do the axe, will be nice to see something different from lots of swords they made.
+arcueidXD it is pretty much a battle axe with an handle
nice idea or chinesse knife from far cry 3
Can't believe this video is 4 yeats old. God do I miss this series
this is a knife SO BIG it needs 3 fully grown men just to hit it with a hammer
john zoidberg Meh, Dragonslayer is more big than this sword, it is like a butter knife if you compare it to the Dragonslayer, Even the Pre-Dragonslayer
k
I'm favouriting this video simply because he said hobo furnace of doom.
Can you do Zabuza's sword Kubikiribōchō (the executioner's blade)
It's from naruto
yes id love to see thay
Yesssssssss, I want this too!
yesssss! please! we are ready!
naruto
looks awesome but you guys should do the og knife and helmet from silent hill 2
Make some Darksiders weapons. War's sword Chaoseater, The Armageddon Blade, and Death's scythe Harvester.
Chaoseater will likely be the hardest one to make if you do go with it.
+Madison Worstell I really want this to happen
Greatsword of Artorias :D
Moonlight Greatsword for Dark Souls or the Saw Cleaver from Bloodborne for me
+Basement Dweller yuussss
+Connor Harrison YAAAAAASSS
+Connor Harrison SO MUCH YES!
+Basement Dweller They already made the cleaver from bloodborne.
Ludwig's Holy Blade from Bloodborne plz
moonlight great sword
yes, the Ludwig's sword is sooooo awesome
greatsword of artoris from dark souls. or the moonlight blade
that would be insane. nice idea
+gustavo rios That'd be cool that or the blade of mercy
The resulting weapon fits more as a torture instrument
Nice job
