I can't believe I've lived to see you play Infect in pauper haha! I hope you like it, it's a very fun format. Infect is indeed extremely underplayed here, it's very niche and its it has some very bad matchups, like Black control or anything that has tons of removal spells.
I believe the charm card in the sideboard is to bring in vs black decks, which often have edicts in either the main or side (I haven't played pauper in a while but chainer's edict used to see lots of play)
Modern infect player who got into pauper a year ago: Agains mono red and bg gardens it feels impossible to win, there are too many removals. Vitality charm is great against tithing blade. Loved the video, I will have to try it with lotus petals now!
Very nice video I recently started playing infect in pauper too and also feel like its very underplayed After some games you will definitely understand what the sideboard cards are for
Great video - I think you didn’t run into matchups where those sideboard cards are played which is why they seemed poor but there’s always nice to reexamine options!
To understand pauper you have to know deadly disputelike cards are everywhere, most decks get a lot of carddraw and infect can't keep up in the mid-late game
Vitality Charm is there against Tithing Blade, which is one of the worst cards to face in the entire format. I play Simic and I play Saiba Cryptomancer for that same reason. Maybe should switch to Charms, never tried them actually.
Could you spare a few words on why Lotus Petal is not viable for Infect in Legacy? Is it just can't replace any list must-haves and can't really replace lands, or is it something else? Thanks for your awesome content!

As is true for every format! I loved the deck!

14:30 - that's correct play: Grixis Affinity plays Cast Down mainboard
NO WAY YOU ARE PLAYING INFECT PAUPER! Amazing!! I built a list that's almost the same as yours.

Love the pauper content! Keep it coming
Yessssssss finaaaallly
Cant wait for UG too
Everyone play gruul monster and glizard now. Love the underplay❤
Longstalk brawl good in this deck?
I don't think we need it but it's worth a shot!

For sure, my inexperience definitely counts here
Gut Shot is probably for Delver, or maybe against Glitters also, if that's a pre-ban list.
Standard bearer also is a nice target
gutshot can be great vs faeries since it basically counters spellstutter sprite for 0 mana (if they don't have other faeries)

So lotus petals are great to finish earlier, i liked it
Love pauper infect
Try a couple corpse cur in the sideboard
Don't underestimate ram through, against creature based decks is the best

Lotus is just such a bad card to draw late and we don't really need it to make our combo work
@@Fenruscloud thanks for confirming!
