I did not expect this movie will turn out this good. Great storyline. And not too many unrealistic things have been shown. Well worth the watch.

I am currently in Lebanon 🇱🇧 as United Nations Interim Force In Lebanon (Garuda Troops from 🇮🇩 Indonesia). Our entertainment during breaks is watching war films like this and the like. In my opinion, war films during the era of the second world war are full of reality, especially from Russia (Soviet Union). How do they defend their homeland to achieve independence, because the independence of a country is a condition for achieving the happiness and prosperity of the people.
And those loyal heroes sacrificed, not to be known by their names, but solely to defend their ideals.
Thank you to the heroes who have fought for their nation and country.

Without the sacrifices of the Soviet Union, those of us still alive in the West, would all be speaking German. We owe a lot to the many millions of Russians that died.

previously, I had seen this movie as part of recommended videos and has continually ignored it. I ended up watching and wishing there was part II. great action, story line and the entire content is worth it.
I didn't know it is a Feel Good movie. But my God, how happy I am it was, because I really needed a happy ending.

@@ghostpunk15 I can suggest Stalingrad, Unsere Mütter, unsere Väter (a serie, but one of the best i've ever seen), come and see (very raw movie), babi yar and a few more. A lot of them are free to watch on youtube if you just search for russian ww2 full movie.

The Russian army of today is no way comparable to the USSR army in WWII. Beginning in the 1970s the army really started to go downhill and fell apart by the early 1990s. It never picked up again to where it wanted to get to, even after the military reforms of 2009-2019. I read Russian military reports and articles by Russian--not Western--military experts. Your enthusiasm is off base.
@@bigalsez The USarmy is better only in fake reports. Currently, the Russian army is the most experienced and combat-ready army in the world.
