Xi Jinping once said, "relying on a silver tongue won’t work.” In 2014 while addressing the Chinese military he said, the ‘laws of the jungle’ of international competition have not changed.” Subsequently, he added that what matters, “is whether you have strength and whether you can use that strength." India should interpret the above statement as Chinese doctrine on foreign policy and conducting of business.

      Thing is India's not in a position to dictate terms and mark my words this 'tough stance' will surely have repercussions.. Canada only sparked it off and it will flare up soon. India is too impoverished and not that important for a real superpower like the US but China is.. But US follows the rule that 'my enemy's enemy is my friend' approach and there comes India. Since India is the most bitter enemy of China and its people are largely gullible (believing anything without questioning and worshipping anything) it's the perfect choice to counter China. And in the process it might even be expended like cannon fodder and the US doesn't care.. This is the real situation that you average Indians don't know

    I would hope that other countries not rely on the USA, we are going through a reckoning of sorts here, who knows which way it will go. As a voter, I am not confident with the current administration and what they are doing with our foreign policy. It is a disaster for the world and I feel bad that we have elected such people to the US government. The two party system, which has now gone rogue on Americans, is out there and had has become a source for global catastrophe. 🙏

    • @nataliedoyle4701
      @nataliedoyle4701 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      I totally agree. Under the Biden presidency the foreign policy of the US has become more nakedly imperialistic whilst the country no longer has the means to support its ambitions and the domestic political system has become essentially dysfunctional. Already with the war in Ukraine and now the situation in Gaza, one can see how the American neocons run the show with utter disregard for the impact of their policies on ordinary people in the rest of the world or for that matter in their own country. One can also see the degree of corruption of American political culture which is headed for a major reckoning as you put it. Understandably, because of its own poltical culture, its diaspora and its economic aspirations India wants to maintain good relations with the US but whilst still pursuing the opportunities opened up by the BRICS. It would be wise not to allow itself to be dragged into the United States' crisis. Even European countries which went along with US policy with respect to Ukraine are now having second thoughts.

      Many people say that this official is very powerful, I also think he is really quite powerful, but I think this is also a very normal thing, India is also a country with a deep culture, but also a country with a large population, so they must have a lot of talents! Because it is also a big country with a number of civilizations a year ago, it is not so easy for Western countries to manipulate them casually! And we China and India are both Asian countries, so of course we hope India can rise, the sooner the better! If India rises, we Asian countries will have to consider settling accounts with the Western countries that colonized and robbed us one by one! They'll spit it out if they eat ours.
