When they formed early 2018 they were 6 members and all kids, by the end of the year they had risen to 7 members as they recruited an extra bass player, their original bass player, the youngest member (about 7 years old at the time) lived near the border with Poland and couldn't make it all he time. The lead singer changed a couple of times until 2019, they had a fixed line-up until the end of 2020. They did rise to 8 members briefly with a backing vocalist. In 2021 both guitarists changed to the current girls. When their families fled Ukraine, only 5 managed to get back together, since then the bassist and keyboard players families to Ukraine, taking the girls with them, their replacements are both Ukrainian refugees. Most of the band are still in school.
This song won an award which enabled The SiXsters to attend the International Anti Corruption Conference in Vilnius Lithuania and play with several other bands the concert part was held in an old prison. They had a blast of course.
Saw The Sixsters and subscribed. This band is so good, moving from genre to genre effortlessly, and always nailing it. They keep getting better and better, and are currently working on their next album. They just released one of the most powerful videos I've ever seen, "Everything I Owned," which is a deeply moving tribute to the children of Ukraine.
