The first one was a great fly. It takes a minute to tie and fishes great. How do I know? I tie something similar. Instead of chenille I use the marabou part from a darker color saddle hackle (dubbing loop). I also wrap the body with crystal flash. I even use size 14-16 hooks and catch big fish. It is total non-sense to use articulated 5-inch flies to catch trout. My striper flies on the surf do not exceed 3 inches.
Well, i have never thought of a name for it. If you have a suggestion, let me know! All I know is, when the parking lot is full, i tie this on and actually have a chance 👍
Great question! Slowly strip it in. You won’t get a wild fish to hit if it’s not slow. You can also swing it and use under an indicator. The smaller it is, the slower you strip it. Focus on shallow areas adjacent to pools, inside bends that sorta stuff. This is where fry and small baitfish kick around. Seems to do the trick for me. Good luck!
Thanks Milan great video. Your tying has really improved. Very easy to understand.
Thank you, really appreciate that.
Love them. Well done with clear instructions.

Did you have a name for it? I plan to try it, thank you for sharing!

How do you like to fish it?

@@greenhornflyhorn I will give it try, thank you.
Those should fill the fly box quickly.
Absolutely. Something I did forget to mention. I tie them down as small as size 14 with the Mustad streamer hook.
