The path with that glorious moss is magical. The shed is lovely and I know I would put a comfy chair to read a good book. The bird songs are so uplifting. Thanks for sharing. 🌼🐝
Roseann, you and your husband are such a creative team- indeed you are both fortunate. Thank you both for sharing your garden skills and talent through these videos of your amazing garden!
@@RosannesGarden I enjoyed everything., your house, your garden and a shed -- the whole estate together look so idyllic., I see it as my dreamland., hope one day I have that kind of fortune. Enjoy my dear -- you are the lucky one!
Gorgeous garden Rosannes, but the most wonderful of all is having an old fashioned husband that is so helpful around the garden. Those men are rare. My Dad was one of them. A terrific husband and father.
Yes, I loved the chandelier. When my Harry Lauder's succumbed to Eastern Filbert blight, I spray painted the whole thing deep purple and enjoyed it for a few years in my garden until it eventually succumbed again, this time to the elements in CT.
I’m so glad you enjoyed the video of the garden and garden shed! We had so much fun having it built and furnishing it and buying all of our tool toys! Thank you so much for watching and commenting. Sorry about the delay in my response.
Seriously...JAW DROPPINGLY GORGEOUS!!! I spent a good portion of 2020 taking virtual garden tours and YOUR'S is top 5 and so memorable. The attention to detail, the plant selections, the organization, the pristine maintenance, the level of design & craftsmanship are all top level & helps to make this garden a stellar stand out! This is really master level work. Congrats!
Wow, thank you! I am so glad that you enjoyed the garden and shed tour. It makes it all more worthwhile when you can share it with others. There are many fine garden channels out there, so I appreciate your comments.
I just love your shed and your garden is amazingly beautiful. The stone structure around your garden is so well designed and it is a feast for the eye. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you very much! That is quite kind of you to say. We actually have added and changed the stonework over the years. My husband uses mortar sparingly, so stones can be moved and areas redesigned. For example, the winding path used to be just stepping stones. After issues with weeds, we changed it later on to be a solid, serpentine path. By only using the same type of stone, we can expand or change things easily. It still looks cohesive, even though it was done over many years. At any rate, thanks for your comments! I'll pass them on to my husband. All the best.
Thank you. You have paid me quite a compliment! I am so happy that you enjoyed the video. I don't do many videos, but I do try to make each one special.
So excited to see your videos pop up Roseanne. I watched 3 this morning and took many notes on some plants and features we can incorporate into our small magical back yard. I can’t wait to show my hubby the rolling shelf for pot storage. You and your husband have created magic together.
Yay! I'm so pleased you are enjoying my channel and the gardening tips. The rolling pot shelf is truly a game changer. I hope you get one too! I am very grateful that my husband shares a passion for gardening 🥰🌿🌺

Wonderful! Amazing! Magical! Words can only try to describe yours and your hubby's creation. You two are so talented. No doubt your garden party guests feel honored to be invited to such a special, enchanted place.
Terrific video! I started gardening aged eight, so long as my younger brother's were included! They hunted for insects, and the wonders unfolding. A turtle, or a frog would come out after watering.. My mother taught us to sit and watch, as the ladybugs vacuumed over the leaf's, or a mantis sat saying it's prayers. Years later, still gardening, as a job, with my students planting fruit trees, butterfly, and vegetable gardens, I started feeling pretty inadequate, the upkeep was so intimidating. I had an incredible dream. As I walked through the garden in my dreams, all the animals I was observing had started their own gardens to show me. One ladybug made a confirmed appreciation by landing on me, followed by a butterfly, a beautiful orange one. Then behind me a spry, old green man, came down out of the oak tree made entirely of plant material, and told me he appreciated my love of the living world of nature. All the plants could move, and did move, to completely envelope the garden, like a crowd of people. Doing my taxes for weeks, ignoring the garden, it does appear nature has taken over around here! I had never heard of the green man before the dream!
Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed the video and it stirred something in you. In addition to ?horticulture, botany?, I hope you write professionally, as you are very talented. I was mesmerized by your childhood story and dream. They both sound extremely special. Ahh, the controversial Green Man. Some have not approved of mine (in these comments), but my favorite Green Man is one I saw on Pinterest about the Montreal Botanical Gardens. If you haven't seen it, here's a link: www.pinterest.at/pin/452189618831601741/ Thanks for your lovely sharing. All the best in gardening, Rosanne
That is a great one! The story of King Arthur killing a stag in the woods once angered the Greenman so, he warned King Arthur he would have to pass a test to save his own life. He would have to find out truly what every woman wants. He spent a year interviewing every woman in the kingdom. The Greenman loved hearing what King Arthur had found out, laughing heartily at the collection of answers. He hadn't yet found the answer. Finally, he was left with his last day. Going out into the forest he loved, he came across an old hag of a woman. He asked her if she knew the answer. She said, of course she did! Every woman wants to develop her own nature freely, without any restrictions. King Arthur gave the answer to the Greenman, who said, "I heard Morgan le Fay giving you the answer! Nature has saved you!" I tried to allow my children to discover their own true natures. They are both loving spouses, and parents. Each a one of a kind. Each grandchild a whole different world of their own.
@ 8:58 Did anyone else happen to see the long tailed visitor scurry past lol? (Front edge top tier) Thank you for sharing your BEAUTIFUL and most enchanting garden.
Oh my! I wish my garden shed looked like that ~ inside and out! it's stunning Rosanne :) and what a clever & talented hubby you've got too! :) Thank you so much for sharing :) I love your videos :)
Thank you very much! Small things can change the look and feel of a shed quite a bit. That's why I like garden stores and flea markets so much! I am so glad you enjoyed the video. My husband is a total partner in our gardening endeavors; I am very lucky. All the best.
You have such a beautiful garden and I absolutely love your shed. I’d be lounging there all day with a good book and no gardening would get done. Thanks for sharing this lovely video. 🌸🪴
Endearing.... Love the pavement, vegetations and cute shed. 20 years ago....that's really elegant. I want to do something like the terraces...! It probably solve the slopes problem I've been facing for decades, lol. Thank you
Thank you. We have been enjoying the shed and adding to the special touches over 20 years. As to the terraced beds, it's amazing how long it took us to figure that out too!
Oh my goodness Roseanne your garden is just incredible and you have the loveliest shed I think I've ever seen 😁 the Irish moss looks beautiful in the stone. Love it all.
Dear Rosanne , that's one incredible garden . Your husband has done a wonderful job and the video was great with your deep soothing voice and the chirping of the birds in the background. Watching your garden was a blessing. Thanks very much for sharing.
Thank you!! I love hearing that our garden and videos have a positive impact on people, if only for a few minutes. That is our intent, as we love gardening and sharing our garden with others.
I left a garden...or gardens I had made and kept foe 30 years when we moved to be near our grand kids. I love watching your videos. You have used many of the plants that I did,, as well as techniques like a round herb garden. I had various things hidden in the garden as you do. Since I am 70, our house has some established planting that got away from someone and we have a woods for a back yard, I haven't been doing much as far as gardening goes . My husband cleaned up and put in paths in the woods for our grands to run through and hide things. By watching your videos, and in spite of my husband, I may just start planting again with some of the other ideas you have. I do enjoy your videos. Thank you so very much.
Hi Janine. One of my favorite quotes is from a famous British Gardener, from around the turn of the last century, Gertrude Jekyll, "The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies". So true. I'm glad that my videos have inspired you to try some planting again. It doesn't have to be a lot. Besides, gardening is such great exercise, for the mind and the body. All the best in your endeavors! Rosanne
Thank you for an interesting and inspiring tour. I love the way you have added so much personality to your garden with little whimsical surprises tucked here and there! 👩🏼🌾
Thank you! I'm glad you used the word whimsical, because that is another element I value in gardens. It fits with enchanted in a way. I think gardens should be fun.
Wow, love love the shed. I would spend a lot of time in there. Such a peaceful looking area with the landscaping and this quaint shed, so beautifully made. Thank you for sharing
Thank you Connie. It seems we have similar taste ;-) I am so pleased that you have found and are enjoying my channel. Thanks for watching and commenting!
Roseanne I stumbles across your page and I am blown away! You and your garden are breathtaking. One day I aspire to have a garden as lovely as this. Thanks for sharing.
Hi from Georgina (UK) What a wonderful tour, your shed is amazing!!So organised!!love love love the shelves on castors! Lovely to see the garden with just the sounds of nature and no annoying music!!
Greetings to the UK! I'm so glad you enjoyed the little tour! Those pull out shelves are really the best. What used to be a big deal (getting a pot out) is now so simple. Glad you liked them! ☺️
Thank you. We did mull over the interior quite a bit. The tables are vintage Steel Case tables that my husband (of course) picked up at a flea market. They are perfect! So strong. We often stand on them to get things up high.
Thank you so much for saying that! As I've told other viewers, I don't do many videos, but I try to make each one special. I'm glad you appreciate it! Thanks for watching and commenting.
Absolutely gorgeous! This is just what I needed. Had been watching a zone 7 Gardner. Rather discouraging until I saw yours. Would you please let us know the name of the evergreen by the shed on our left side . Beautiful tree. The moss is my answer to another challenge. What to grow around my stones! Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Hi Glenda, I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour! We can do great things here in Zone 4 😊. The tree is a Trautman Juniper. I talk about it (briefly) in my Trees video. You might find it interesting. Same with the Irish Moss Video. All the best in gardening!
Dear Gergana, That is very kind of you to say! I have been inspired by so many other beautiful gardens. I'm glad you were inspired by ours. One of my favorite gardening quotes is by the late Gertrude Jekyll, "The love of gardening is a seed once sown that never dies." I'm sure you'll grow a beautiful garden. All the best! Rosanne
Thanks Janice! I collected those hose guards over the years. Whenever I am at a garden center or garden gift shop, I look for hose guards with birds. Then, my husband kindly suggested I stop at six ;-) You might be able to find some on the internet?? Good luck.
Rosanne, I needed some inspiration and a pleasant diversion from winter this morning. I knew watching one of your videos would do it for me! You should know that your garden, and its enchanting features, inspired my very small, urban Denver garden. I had a sweet garden shed built last spring and installed a wide, stone path to its entrance. With the Holidays behind me, I am thinking about spring and my garden in full bloom. Thank you for sharing your lovely garden.
Greetings to Denver! I am absolutely delighted to hear that you have found my videos inspirational! It is/was one of my goals in sharing our garden and our thought processes. I certainly know what you mean about the mind turning to gardening, now that the holiday's are over. But, I do have news. My husband and I moved to a new house and a new garden a few months ago. As the saying goes, "one doors closes, another one opens". It was very difficult to leave our old home and garden (and shed!), but the timing and circumstances were right. We love our new house and the challenges it presents. Stay tuned, I hope to make videos of this garden's transformation, although it will be smaller and less ambitious overall. I also hope to make a video of my farewell stroll this last August. Yours in gardening, Rosanne 🌹🌻🌱🌲🐝
You are very organized and very clean including your garden tools. You and husband are very creative too. I love you did to your garden and shed. You made me jealous. 👍
Every part in your garden are out standing, the organization and great planification is the successful in that. Your husband's a great piece for that enjoy and wondering place. Blessings.
Small house But lovely. Surrounded by various plants. Colorful flowers look fresh and beautiful. I love Irish moss very much, they have small, green stems with very cute little flowers that make the walkway beautiful. Quaint. There are small artifacts Cute, placed at intervals. A warm home Very nice to live in ...
Very beautiful. Building, garden and plants look harmoniously working very well. They look simple, calm, charming altogether but obviously behind all are the effort of careful choices, creativity and love of gardening. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! The garden shed area is my favorite place to be in the garden. In fact, I would say that our front yard is close to neglected, because I spend so much time in the back 😏. I'm glad you appreciate the choices. Keep an eye out for my next video, in a week or so, on the gardens around the shed. 🌹
I love your garden and shed, Rosanne. Whimsical and very beautiful. You've given me some great ideas for informality, but without it looking crowded. A big thumbs up for your practical and inventive husband too.
Your garden shed is gorgeous, I love the architecture and the winding path on the side of the shed. What an amazing, handy husband you have. That pull out shelf on casters is genius and I love the terraced garden patch. You truly have a beautiful, enchanted garden.
Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed the garden shed and tour! I do have a generous and handy partner in gardening and in life. ☺️❤️. But back to the shed, that pull out shelf on casters is the best. Thanks for watching and commenting so kindly. 🌺
Thank you! Although we tidied up for the video, we didn't do anything special with the stainless garden tools. We are sticklers for rinsing them before putting them away. It makes using them the next time so much more pleasant. I can go on and on about garden tools ;-) Thanks for watching!
Rosanne, your shed, house, stone walkway... everything is delightful!!! Wow, I'm impressed. You've done an amazing job, you & your hubby. And that herb garden...wow. Not simple, more like outstanding. That Irish Moss is a stunner. Happy growing.
Thank you for that comparison. Fortunately, we don't have snakes! 😊 I would like to do more videos and plan to do more videos, as time allows. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment!
This is so beautiful, harmonius and heartwarming. A garden to pamper the soul. You even captured the little mouse running along. Very inspiring, thank you.
Enchanted is the right word for it: Only thing is missing: the fairy godmother has to peek out of the door. Well done!!! A practical shed can be done in a unique style.
Thank you for showing us your shed and garden. I have an English cottage garden. It's taken careful planning but looks a jumble of flowers and vegetables. Happy gardening!
Wow thank you for a tour of your beautiful and functional shed and the gorgeous gardens and rock work. You have created a very special place that spreads joy to all who get to see it.
Rosanne - I absolutely loved the tour. You have a beautiful garden with a truly magical quality. It was so wonderful to hear you narrate everything - we could hear the love and pride in your voice! “Toady” was my favorite 😀! It would be great to see a video of how you built the frame on the wall for storing your garden equipment - It is just the thing I was looking for. Thank you again for sharing your lovely space with us.
Thank you so much. I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour! And, yes, Toady ❤️is a cutie 😊. The tool hanging racks are from a company called Schulte (maybe purchased recently by Organized Living?). The racks are in a grid form and the hooks are interchangeable and moveable. Everything is "ala carte". You can probably get a much better look in my newest video on Garden Tools where I spend a lot of time in the shed with the tools as the backdrop. Here's a link to the grid available on Amazon. www.amazon.com/Organized-Living-Activity-Organizer-48-inch/dp/B002XUKW2Q/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAnvj9BRA4EiwAuUMDf1YV3hYKHC-b4660asPl9S1tv_4GOLVI5dWJhKAlOCCjYMaz1PweEhoCOdoQAvD_BwE&hvadid=410071543586&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9019663&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=16776860877423163553&hvtargid=kwd-324654597027&hydadcr=8432_11337165&keywords=schulte+shelving&qid=1606324215&s=hi&sr=1-7&tag=googhydr-20 Good luck!

I am so pleased to hear that. 🌹
Your garden is so incredibly beautiful! I've been designing my dream home in my head my whole life & this is it. Amazing work! ♡
Thank you. I'm so glad we share the same design sense. 😊
It seems we have similar taste ;-)
I am so pleased that you have found and are enjoying my channel. Thanks for watching and commenting!

Roseanne I stumbles across your page and I am blown away! You and your garden are breathtaking. One day I aspire to have a garden as lovely as this. Thanks for sharing.
I'm so glad you are enjoying my channel! Thank you for those kind words. Gardens are a process.
This video came up on my feed. After watching, I subscribed immediately. I love your potting shed and your garden.
Glad to hear it! I am so happy that you found this channel. I don't do many videos, but I try to do good ones.
Love your garden shed and surrounding herb gardens with pathway! Thanks for sharing!
Hi Gina, I agree that the "whole is more than the sum of its parts" in this case. I'm glad you liked it. Thanks for watching.
Oh my goodness! Don’t know where to start! I love everything you’ve done! Your paradise is my dream! So glad I stumbled upon your channel! 👍🏻😊
I am so glad you stumbled on my channel also! It's fun to share our garden (and shed). 🌞🌷
Watching these kinds of videos motivates me to mow my lawn under 100 degree weather temperature.
😊
Oh my gosh this is so amazing!!! The Disney princess in me is freaking out.
🤗 What is extra fun, is that the shed is so incredibly functional. Glad you enjoyed the tour!
Great use of shed space. I'd love to know where the tables came from, their awesome!!!
Thank you. We did mull over the interior quite a bit. The tables are vintage Steel Case tables that my husband (of course) picked up at a flea market. They are perfect! So strong. We often stand on them to get things up high.
You are Queen of quality content. 14k likes with 21k subscribers! Even the shed is gorgeous.
All the best in gardening!
everything about your property is magical and beautiful. I am 27 years old and aspire to build for myself a place like this
Dear Gergana,
That is very kind of you to say!
Rosanne
Love love everything. Where did you get the hose guards?
Thanks Janice! I collected those hose guards over the years. Whenever I am at a garden center or garden gift shop, I look for hose guards with birds. Then, my husband kindly suggested I stop at six ;-)
You might be able to find some on the internet?? Good luck.
I didn't even know hose guards were a thing. Now I want six, too! 😂
Yours in gardening, Rosanne

GORGEOUS! I WILL WATCH AGAIN AND AGAIN. MANY THANKS .
FANTASTIC!
Enchanting for sure loved everything and the singing birds 🐦🐦🐦
Thanks! I'm glad you found the enchantment I was hoping viewers would. We have wrens and cardinals that make almost all of the song.
8:58 😂 did someone notice the mice?

That little You Tube star is actually a chipmunk. We have many ;-)
@@RosannesGarden Love it!!
That was a rat.
Chipmunk. He’ll be after those tomatoes soon!
OMGosh. What a garden. What a shed! This video made me so happy.
Thank you! Making people smile is what it's all about. Gardens should be happy places. That's why I like whimsy in a garden.
Thank you for sharing! How beautiful and tranquil. Can your husband teach me how to husband? 😂
I'm glad you enjoyed the video and hopefully it made you smile. You made me smile!
beautiful garden, beautiful stones and the most amazing plants and flowers.
Thank you very much! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour.
Good content! Tired of “what I eat in a day” theme. Keep the good work!
Thank you! I try to make 10 minute videos and make good use of the time.
You are very organized and very clean including your garden tools. You and husband are very creative too. I love you did to your garden and shed. You made me jealous. 👍
Thank you for saying so! That is very kind. 🌞
That’s got to be the coolest potting shed I’ve ever seen! Picturesque
Thank you! I'm so glad you really think so. We definitely enjoy it 😊🌷 🌹.
Every part in your garden are out standing, the organization and great planification is the successful in that. Your husband's a great piece for that enjoy and wondering place. Blessings.

Thanks you for your time and information..

I just wonder what kind of people unlike these kind of beautiful videos.
Thank you! That is sweet of you to say. 😊
Thank you. I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour and the little bit of whimsy.
I love your garden. Looks so calm and clean..
Thank you so much 😊
How utterly charming, well thought out and very very special. 👌

The most wonderful thing in life is creating your own little world! We support you!
Thank you so much! I'm glad you enjoyed the video tour of the garden!
exquisite garden and shed! love your sense of style and systematic approach to building the garden, and all your husband’s creations (esp the arbor! )
Thank you! I'm so glad you appreciate the garden! I am fortunate to have such a crafty and artistic partner in gardening.
Thank you! I'm glad you picked up on the whimsy element. Thanks for commenting. I'll pass your comment on to my hubby.😊
You have such a tranquil and lovely garden with a functional and beautiful shed. Really enjoyed your tour. Your vegetable garden is just awesome.
Thank you! I am so glad you enjoyed the tour. Thanks for watching.
I could listen to those birds allllll day. Beautiful.
Yes, they provide so much music.
You could eat with those garden tools! Beautiful garden and shed.
Thank you! Although we tidied up for the video, we didn't do anything special with the stainless garden tools. We are sticklers for rinsing them before putting them away. It makes using them the next time so much more pleasant. I can go on and on about garden tools ;-)
Thanks for watching!
Rosanne, your shed, house, stone walkway... everything is delightful!!! Wow, I'm impressed. You've done an amazing job, you & your hubby. And that herb garden...wow. Not simple, more like outstanding. That Irish Moss is a stunner. Happy growing.
Wow Lorene, thanks so much. I'm so pleased you enjoyed the tour!
Please share more of your wonderful Garden of Eden through the seasons,as well as your knowledge.
Thank you. I'm glad you saw that little critter. He is one of our many resident chipmunks.
Enchanted is the right word for it: Only thing is missing: the fairy godmother has to peek out of the door. Well done!!! A practical shed can be done in a unique style.
Thanks. I am so glad you agree! 🌿🌸🌞
Hi Roxanne. What a lovely garden! What a great and simple tool house!
Love from Spain 😘
Greetings to Spain! I'm so glad you enjoyed the tour and the shed! Thanks for watching and commenting.
WOW 🤩..I would never leave your gorgeous backyard..you two are definitely hard workers..TFS..
Thank you. And, thanks for acknowledging the work it takes to tend a garden. 😊
Thank you for showing us your shed and garden. I have an English cottage garden. It's taken careful planning but looks a jumble of flowers and vegetables. Happy gardening!
Your garden so sounds lovely. Thanks for watching and commenting. Happy gardening to you too!
I was having a horrible day. I discovered this video and watching it made me feel better. Thank you.
Glad I could help! I'm so pleased that the video lightened your day.🙂
Wow thank you for a tour of your beautiful and functional shed and the gorgeous gardens and rock work. You have created a very special place that spreads joy to all who get to see it.
Thank you Pat. We do love to share our garden and things we've learned over the years. Glad you enjoyed it!
Here's a link to the grid available on Amazon. www.amazon.com/Organized-Living-Activity-Organizer-48-inch/dp/B002XUKW2Q/ref=sr_1_7?dchild=1&gclid=CjwKCAiAnvj9BRA4EiwAuUMDf1YV3hYKHC-b4660asPl9S1tv_4GOLVI5dWJhKAlOCCjYMaz1PweEhoCOdoQAvD_BwE&hvadid=410071543586&hvdev=c&hvlocphy=9019663&hvnetw=g&hvqmt=e&hvrand=16776860877423163553&hvtargid=kwd-324654597027&hydadcr=8432_11337165&keywords=schulte+shelving&qid=1606324215&s=hi&sr=1-7&tag=googhydr-20
