- Sharing another LEGO yard sale score. This was one of desperation and I have some regrets in buying it, especially after finding my second LEGO score of the day. Anyways, here is what's inside.

The way I always think about getting a win and a loss at the same time is you count them together and either you have a smaller loss than before or a profit all together

As a dad of four, including an 8yo fan of Elves…those sets can get pricey! Don’t sleep on the big elves set for eBay!

I don't have any of the $45 box besides the plates, so for me that would have been a good buy
That 45$ lot all seem like lakeside/camping sets. It be cool to MILS up those two grey baseplates and build up a scene with the sets 👍
Also that Lego elves set must be worth a lotttt Lego elves sets are worth so much these days. But finding all the pieces in there would be a big job 😂

Classic Lego is from when I was a kid 80s. What a score when you pick those up. 90s and early 2000s Lego was struggling but picked up some licenses. Seams rarer. 2010 seams to be where Lego took off and made maybe to many sets and yes bigger builds but not every set was collectible. I don’t look at price when I am buying used Lego as much as era it was made in. It’s nice to see a professional get hosed like us regular guys. I think the kids and collectors that are getting out of Lego now were not getting sets at a prime era of Lego. How do you decide what to pick up as a reseller/ collector?
I'd say 45 is pretty good just selling a couple of those sets would make up how much you spent I think
I'm hoping so. I will probably part out anything I can't sell since I have most of the sets already.
If you sell those sets you are going to make money .. definitally more then 45
Lego elfs can hold its value much better then regular friends
I think that 3 in 1 lidge with the elk build appreciated in vakue conpared to when it was released
Good Monday Evening Guys!! The sets were cool non-the-less. Hopefully you will at least recoup the investment in sales. I guess one way to look at it, if you break even it was worth the chance that you might find something stellar. There looks like several items that can be re-purposed for the amusement park. It may not have been all you were looking for...I think you still did well...I definitely enjoyed the sharing of this video. I hope that it is a great Monday Evening for Greg, Coty, and the Clark!! 🙂

I would be thrilled with that Elves lot! We only have one more set to go to have them all. My daughter and I love them! The other one was a fair price. Most lots that I find want $100+ for bins like that.

Those 48 x 48 baseplates are always good! Those are like $15 each brand new so value there!
I think you did well on that yard-sale haul. I'm guessing you don't because, as you say, you bought out of desperation rather than out of desire. Oh, well.

Greg, I think you're getting spoiled. I RARELY find Lego at yard sales and flea markets. Often, when I do, people want retail or higher. Be proud of reasonable finds, my friend! You did very well!

That was definitely a Lego elves piece! My daughter has it! That was a huge score! If you can make any of the elves sets they sell really well!!
That yellow tub o bricks alone cost quite a bit new and then that large bag of lego it was still cheaper then the shops.
in the second container there was at least one vintage part which is pretty neat
Elves! I've actually been ordering some Elves stuff via Bricklink as of late. It's for a sort of diorama I'm working on.
Some Elves stuff can be somewhat pricey, so maybe you'll luck out.
Shame about the bootlego though. If you were a MILS plate type of person you could use some of it for that, but meh. 😁

I once got a cool batch of lego for £3 but I payed£5 at a charity shop
I would have paid $35 for that set. We have most of those sets as well. The last box was good.We make pumpkin mocks every year.
Elves is pretty fire....high demand after market
I got to go with the $15 tire. The tote alone is probably worth $7 lol

Fifteen dollars was very lucky, but the cists counter each other don't they. Why not bin the mouse house and part the bricks for future builds. Sell the friends.

I'm always disgusted when I see or hear the word LEGO pluralized. The box wasn't bad, but that plastic container was the better score.
It would be nice to donate those sets to charity that support underprivileged children who cannot afford to by lego sets.
That's what I do with all the non-LEGO stuff. I figure some kids out there don't care if the word LEGO is stamped on a piece. Still lots of fun to be had.
