I love how Ashley just keeps asking questions, she is so involved with it ❤and boys looks so happy talking abt music too! Great guest - so inspiring and driven 🔥
I didn't know who David Yungin Kim was till today, but mad support to him. Such a HUMBLEEEEE personality but soo much of talent bagged !! There aren't enough people like you. Appreciate all that you've been doing man. This one video wraps up what a good human that you are. You deserve all the success in the world. Best wishes to you sir 👏🙌
David Yungin Kim mad respect to him he is such a inspiring soul and he is sooo chill.... came as a fan of get real and actually fell in love with him and now I am DYK fan😭😭😭😭
This was the best episode I've heard from this podcast yet. The hosts were genuinely enthusiastic and so was the guest, with all of them wanting to interact, but without anyone trying to dominate. I really felt the respect and admiration that was in the studio. DYK is a truly unique person, especially compared to other creators, who oftentimes operate on fear of irrelevancy and it translates into nasty gatekeeping. DYK in contrast said himself (but in other words) that he focuses on being a kind person and working hard, so the rest will come. That's why he's genuine and generous with others. Truly a great episode!
This episode is one of my favorites!!! So much musical chemistry since everyone on the panel works in the music industry! I love to hear these productive and engaging conversations about music! ❤
I Got so inspired by this. David is really knowledgeable. I like his mindset. He's just got on my list of the type of person I wanna be like one day. 10 year lmao, but he made me believe again. Best episode this season. For sure. Respect, that's why I love old people. Knowledgeable was flowing this whole podcast. I feel smarter now. Even learned a new word psychoacoustics aka (psychoacoustic guitar) lol. Yall definitely cracked a code for kpop with that one. It makes sense.
Even though i am not very familiar with the technical terms and all, this ep was so much fun! Nothing is better than watching a group of ppl talking about what they're actually passionate about! It was good to learn about all the artists he had worked with, esp RM's Indigo cuz that's literally like my comfort album- everyone was so interactive and excited in this ep!
Ashley took this interview on a whole other level 👏🏼 guys looks so happy talking about music… congratulations David wish you nothing but success in life with future artists
This was such an inspiring podcast! ✨️💯 David Yungin Kim seems like such a humble man, despite being a Grammy award winning recording engineer and working with some of the biggest names in the industry! 😳
okay this is insane, i was literally just telling my husband last night that ive come to realize that ive never really done anything with 100% intent and effort, and that i finally want to start working towards my dream career and this was a huge affirmation for me. i learn so many things about myself by listening to your podcast, and im sure im not the only person you guys have helped. c: thank you Peniel, Matthew, Junny and Ashley!
Until now i still stuck with old music with nice lyrics that can connect with life...i listen BTOB because of music n amazing lyrics..i still listen SG Wannabe,Noel,SamD is my fav for k hiphop.. he's dope.
Bm in this episode in a nutshell: - Having some wholesome bromance with David Yungin Kim - Nonstop promotion for David's producer album - Being hyper - "Five stars or you're a b**ch" And of course I couldn't post this comment without mentioning how good he looks wearing glasses like dayumn bro
This episode was sooo good, in so many ways. The guest was amazing, subject matter so intriguing, very insightful questions and the hosts are all so experienced now. Plus I just like all of these people. ❤😊
Really enjoyed this episode, definitely 5 ⭐ worthy. Not only got to hear about the behind the scenes of music production but David's approach towards his passion and work is just super inspiring. Thank you so much and looking forward to the album 👍🏻
In my mind when he said he's gonna be mentioning who's in the album , I said PH1 and then in the end he mentioned him , I was just happy cause I know Harry and delivering good bars is inevitable. Also i love this episode.
Wow I loved this episode so much! David Yungin Kim gives off such amazing energy and positive vibes 🌟, also he had such great energy with the hosts. This season of Get Real is NEXT LEVEL
I loved this episode. I loved David. He seems very passionate, genuine and he curses almost as much as me lol Definitely checking out his channel cuz I've wanted to do music since I was a kid but gave up in my 20s and I regret it every day
This was sooooo cool I think this was my favorite interview. The perfect mix of informative, fun, and interesting! I learned a lot. I respect and admire David a lot now!

mad respect to david! i don’t know much about making music but this ep made me really grow a deeper appreciation to the behind the scenes and all the effort different individuals (not just the artists) put into music. BM was right, this ep is def inspiring a lot of ppl, myself included! david seems like such a down to earth, humble guy, not just talented and hard working but has a great personality and mindset. awesome episode get real fam! loved the dynamic and the great questions and discussions!
loved this episode, it was great to get to know more about David ! I've seen his name a lot ! " no lowkey " with Jessi and CAMO was so gooddd and i'm very excited to hear the rest of the songs on the albummm 🔥
Thank you so much for introducing us to this guest, he is so cool! And as someone who is just learning about making music, I’m definitely going to check out his twitch account, it’s absolutely invaluable

I came running! 😂😍🥺 I found David so inspiring especially his dedication to his craft. Hoping one day I can have the same level of dedication to mine too. Thanks Dive Studios for bringing him on. This season has had so many good guests already🥺😍! Looking foreward to the next episode.
It's amazing that I get to watch this while I am in the season of my life that I feel like I am being stagnant and going nowhere. No inspiration, no drive. David Yungin Kim's journey and mindset is probably the spark that I need. Thank you, Dive, David.
This episode was so interesting! I watched David’s twitch live with Matthew, that’s the way I found out about David. I got inspired by his dedication to his work and how goal oriented he is! 👏👏Keep going David, the second Grammy is on its way, I’m sure 😁
@@Annnabannanna Dw I do the same 😂, I would take a few breaks in between to watch an episode(I told myself not to finish it) but then I just watch the whole video 😂. It just proves how enjoyable their podcast is, especially for me who doesn't normally watch these types of videos.
I was an intern at Wally Heider's studio in the mid 70's Tech engineers were building mixing boards (and specialized equipment (filters/limiters,etc...) to get more than the 4/8 tracks companies were manufacturing. Also, amendments/recorded parts were a physical cut the tape and glue in the new recorded tape in replacement.
That's cool that he believes in paying it forward and working with people that he has known for many years. Also, loved that he acknowledged that he was first inspired by Nas!
This was a really great episode! I learned a lot about the music processes. Plus, David is really personable. I'm definitely going to keep an eye out for his album( both parts).
very good ep! most interesting guest in a while who is very knowledgeable about his craft as well as inspiring. even if it there was prepared questions..felt like a free flowing conversation...good to highlight an area of music that is often less talked about.. we always get artists, but its nice to hear more about a different discipline like sound engineering.
Gotta be a top 5 episode. DYK's energy be unmatched. Junny admiration for DYK was palpable through my screen lmao. BM's shilling and DYK's energy for this project got me hyped as fuck for the album.
the way junny reacts when he gets compliments 🥺🤍

Ayy can't wait to see this episode, been loving the get real podcast recently. I enjoyed listening to it while doing my school works.
Omg me toooo, I have it on in the background while doing homework. But i always end up getting distracted, and just sit there watching the whole ep 😅😅

This could have been longer and I would have not mind. It was so interesting. David could come back again and I would be glad 👏🏼😌
49:02 I can relate to this. I used to print lyrics just to memorize a song 😂, or listen to a song repeatedly.
Never thought I would hear a kpop artist mention a Nigerian artist. Fireboy DML to the world. ❤
I like their confidence ❤
This was such an inspiring episode! I loved all the knowledge that was dropped ❤😊
That's cool that he believes in paying it forward and working with people that he has known for many years. Also, loved that he acknowledged that he was first inspired by Nas!
This episode is so inspiring! I know nothing about music, but I learned so much. Thank you, Dive Studios and David! Mad respect 🙌
4:58 Is he talking about No Lowkey? That one stood out for sure, the beat is sick. Yungin throws no look passes for sure.

The analysis of songs just before half-time was interesting. The description sounds just like Stray Kids songs! 🤪😅👌
