Jesse, I’m surprised at the negativity on here, but this IS TH-cam. We lap up talking and giant apes, but imagining what the real life of a mythical primate might be like as its habitat shrinks gets slammed. I thought the movie was thoroughly original, and you actors did a fantastic job of blending educated guesswork with what we really know about bonobos, our closest relatives. Poignant, wonderful, and very sad. The last scene is heartbreakingly accurate: if such a creature did exist we drove it to extinction.

This is awesome, and I think this movie looks really awesome as a nature lover. Im curious now to see how they would react if you sent an actor in in full makeup. Put Chris Kattan in monkey makeup and send him in and he could convince the chimps that he is one of them 😅 that'd be insane though to see their reaction in person now
