Such a wonderful dog! My parents have a 10 year old collie. He is not as trained as her but he does love to play fetch 🙂 My niece recently tried to play agility with him though. He is mostly bored because no one has the time to play with him.
Is your Rough Collie Roxy 4 years old in 2023? I used own 2 Rough Collies both did not grow up together both at rainbow bridge. After my rough collie at the age 14 years died in 2007 from nose cancer I mourn his loss for 12 months and in 2008, I diwnsized to a Shetland Sheepdog my very first Sheltie and he passed away in 2020 at age 12 1/2. In 2021, I got my second sheltie and he 2 years old in 2023.
I am trying to convince my mom about getting a sable rough collie for the past few weeks, my gf has one and he is adorable and says he is a great dog. My mom is getting more into the idea but is still skeptical about the shedding, does your dog shed profusely and is it easy to deal with? Great video hope to see more❤️
tysm! i don't find my dog's shedding a big problem. she sheds when it's spring or fall for like a month. i just brush her every day when she has it. so tell ur mom not to worry about the shedding:)
I had a rough collie (Furyo) for 12 years. Unfortunately he died last week. He was looking exactly like yours, except he was barely listening to sit order… but I never taught him anything. Now I have a new puppy (Thor), and I’m starting to teach him some commands….
My new favourite thing apparently is to watch cute dog videos and mute them and blast some black metal over it. This video went well together with Charles Francis Coghlan by Carach Angren.

Honestly there are 0 cons with a collie. I've had a few different breeds but collies are just the most amazing pups. Smart, caring, loyal, playful, obedient, insanely loving. I'm disabled and on days i have a lot of trouble walking my pup instinctively walks real close, real slow, on my bad side in case I lose my balance. He wasn't taught, he just wants to take care of his people.
Hi😊 I'm reflexing about buy this amazing dog, but I have some doubts if a dog of this breed is appropriated to live in apartment. How much activity do they need daily? I want to know an opinion of the experienced owner with practical knowledge, not only theory😉
My collie lives in apartment. We walk for about 2-3 hours a day. Also twice a week we have agility training and every day we do tricks. This breed is really good for an apartment)
@@_wikis Is it capable to endure 4,5 or 6 hours not to destroying everything and barking excesively? I'm at home 4 days but the rest 3 days per week I would leave her alone for couple of hours. I have been considering also some breeds of small dogs for apartments but they don't convince me😉. It will be better when they find an owner in love with this type of dogs.
@@adamszych7440 yes, this breed can stay alone without an owner. I leave my dog alone for about 6-7 hours 5 times a week and she sleeps or play with her toys and waits till I come back)
