I appreciate your candor on the quality and performance of the products. So many TH-cam videos I feel the folks aren’t really doing a genuine review but are shills…you know what I mean. Tell your dad I’m going to quit carrying my every day carry pocket knife and replace it with a big key - just in case I have to ‘accidentally’ stick someone with it. 😉
😂😂😂 Man that was the comment of the night:) Thank you for that! We are sitting facing eachother camping in Hot Springs right now. Great riding.filming today and now we are about to hit the hay. Thank you and we hope to continue t 😂be real man, hey😂 checkout😂 the newest review if you have not....Thanks Richard
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS “We are sitting facing each other…”.I’m sorry for you, man, wish there were a better view for you. 😉 All kidding aside, very awesome that you and dad are combining skills and making these videos together; this will provide you with digital and personal memories for many years long after he’s gone. So awesome you get to share the laughs and time. Remember, these ARE the good ol’ days.
Well Lawrence thats GREAT man!!! LOL Hope you subscribed for the trifecta!😂 Checkout the new update video as well its pretty good and newer. Thanks brother Im glad you know whats up with the cauliflower ear💪
Thanks for the tip about the keys guys hahahaha....this is a super sharp bike and you guys spend more time thinking about your bikes in a day then we have in our whole lives....very very cool stuff and we are learning some great things!
Haha yeah my Dad is pretty crafty at coming up with ways he could hurt me and make it look like an accident.😬 All joking aside my Dad is actually really loving, he is just scary looking hahaha.😉 Well we're happy y'all are learning, but not sure we are the best teachers haha. We obsess about MTB parts, trails, other bikes, and tools that's for sure. Well my Dad is more into the budget aspect, making videos, and camera equipment since he is into photography. Thanks for going back and watching some of our older videos man, that's very cool of you.
Been watching your vids on the budget upgrades. Great content and like how you keep it real. New sub! Thanks for what you do with emphasis on keeping a sensible budget
Cool man i appreciate that. Alot of people don't understand that for some reason, i get a lot of why budget? Why not just a $600.00 fork? I'm glad you get it, and thank you. Be on the lookout for the next rotor and cassette build it involves budget tools to do the job and parts! Let me know what you think about the receipt (you will understand after you watch it). Thanks again man and im so glad you subbed!!!
Cool Marlon could always another GT rider! Glad you are watching, especially since yall got the same bike. If you are ever interested in a part Ive put on my bike, make sure and check out the description below, the links wont cost extra but they will help me! Thanks alot for viewing and hope yall subscribed!!!
Great video also your Dad is hilarious and correct, he can't claim an accident with a knife. So far I changed on my son's GT Pro Aggressor we went with a set of Fooker pedals, Raceface Half Nelsons grips both from Amazon. His bike again is still under warranty so upgrading his heavy handlebars and that crappy rear derailleur etc, are on hold because I'm still deciding if I'm ready to oust his warranty. Again great video and keep them coming.
Cool man and yes i agree my dad is hilarious after the dust settles!!! Well im glad you gave your son something to grip to both with his feet and hands. And i think the derailleur is a couple of upgrades away in my future for sure! Thanks alot for commenting and the views Eric, Later man.
What size frame? Do you have 27.5 or 29" wheels? Air forks are a great upgrade, they lighten your bike and give you better feel and control. Thanks for the kind words and commenting.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I have a 27.5. Really just starting out in mtb. So far it's been a great bike to learn on. Your channel (and a few others like Seth's bike hacks) have been a great wealth of knowledge. Going from noob to somewhat knowing a few things. Keep churning out these awesome contents.
Man that's awesome! We love to hear that kind of stuff. With 27.5 you got a lot of good options, but for the price make sure you watch our LUTU videos, hard too beat for the price. I think we have the affiliate links in the description on those videos. The ZTZ Kashima are good as well, but you loose rebound adjust, and about 10-15mm of actual travel. Thanks brother.
Yes! Been waiting all week for this one. I'm done with my Aggressor Pro in terms of upgrades but its always nice to see what others are doing with theirs. Also make sure you clean your rotors REALLY well with rubbing alcohol. I think touching them will screw them up pretty bad with finger oils.
Well dont tell anyone but finger oils will! I wish you could of let me know before hand(literally) just took it out today, new video hopefully pretty soon! Thanks for watching man appreciate your views.
Nice bike, you need to buy a kit. Shimanos are dead easy to bleed. Loosen the top bolt on the levers, gently screw the funnel on because the plastic threads will strip. Partially fill the funnel with fluid and keep pumping the lever, while tapping the lines, caliper, and hoses. You will see small bubbles come up. Stop when the bubbles stop coming up. Also your 720mm is still a little narrow but I guess it might match the Geo of that type of frame. Modern mtb runs 760-800mm wide bars. Also since you seem to be committed to keeping this bike, look for a dropper post. It will blow your mind since it looks like you are sending it on this bike.
Hell yeah man thank you for the info! And a dropper post is in the near future im sure, and with the geo like you said is perfect. Will give the bleeding a try and will do a video on that as well(if it goes good or not)lol Thanks for watching and hope you liked and subscribed!!!
Your upgrade videos helped convince me to buy this bike (grey model). Should be here in 10 days. I just need to settle on a helmet now. Thanks for the vids
Cool man! I wish GT would send me a bike (that i dont have to pay for apparently i have sold atleast 6!). And if you ever got any questions please feel free to ask me. I hope all videos will help someone somewhere. Good luck on the bike Carl and hope you keep me updated. Oh and you might as well look at some pedals of course, after your helmet! Safety first. You link to two different sizes for bottom brackets. I have the same bike just wondering the size. And I'm thinking about trying out those forks you put on the mongoose.

Is it worth it to do upgrades on yhe bike in terms of resale value. I know later on id like a fs i just cant afford it right now. The front suspension is a bit bouncy i think. And my chain hits the frame on drops. Only 2 downfalls ive found so far. Just got my first flat and was immediately told to go tubeless but i dont think the original tires are compatable. Im a girl so i dont do much mechanical work but i do love going to the trails
In terms of resale value no, but if you are going to be riding it for a while then I would say it's worth it. If I were going to keep the bike for at least two years, I would probably upgrade the tires, stem, fork, pedals, handlebars, and I would protect the frame from the chain slap with something.
I had my bike taken apart and had the spokes bent as well as lost the quick release. So my question is what tire can I use to replace the tire on my. GT aggressor pro
Well man when it comes to tires on a budget you can checkout the Vittoria Barzo video or you can checkout the video going up Tuesday it will be on a budget tire as well. You can run up to 27.5 with a 2.6" width front or rear as long as they are not tubeless.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS okay I rushed and ended up getting a tubeless ready tire but could I still use a tube in it for the meantime or how does that work? It is a Maxxis aggressor exo 27.5 inch. 27.5×2.3.
Yeah man no problem with that at all. Tubeless tires are usually built better and thicker. So running a tube in it may add some weight but still will run like that. Thats a good tire man and dont worry about going tubeless atleast for now its very expensive although here are some cheaper alternatives.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS thank you for the detailed information on this, I like watching your videos because they are informative and entertaining to watch. Would I be able to use the old tube from my now broken rim?
Yeah man you are running a 2.3 and the tube should be for a 2.1-2.4. A few people run the GT stock tubes like you have on a 2.5 so you will be way in the range gap. Thanks for the comment man and hope you stick around brother👍👍👍
Hey brother, here is an affiliate link to a stem I use on two of our bikes. It is a great stem and it seems to be pretty tough:) It also will fit the original bars, also shorter- ebay.us/epgQ8I

Hey Joe, the GT aggressor pro is not a 1x8 new, its actually a 3x8:( I think the GT would be a great hybrid or commuter. With the street romping I dont think it would be great due to weight. It weighs in at 34 or 35lbs and is very heavy upfront. Maybe if you did some upgrades similar to mine to take some lbs off(forks, crankset and maybe hew headset). Then go for it but just the way it is a little bit of a weight issue.Really though the price is cheep enough to get into and be comfortable enough to throw some money at it! Hope you get some kind of answer out of that.LOL thanks for the question and hope you liked and subbed man!!!
Hey man nice bike! I have the same one, and same fork. I think those 2.8” tires are way too big though, even 2.6” is. The widest tires I’d get, since those rims aren’t very wide, I got 2.3” and that’s the widest I’d recommend. (I wanted to put really wide ones on mine too lol, kinda turn it into a plus bike but those rims aren’t made for it)
Your right man and the frame isnt either!:) But i love the wide tires and they give me so much more confidence in the corners for sure!!! Make sure you checkout the new update video if not already! I got a teaser for my next forks in it and a install video fixing to come out in a couple of weeks after install video! Thanks fir the comment man!!! Good luck on them ZTZ really not bad at all:)
WOLFTICK VIDEOS Hell yeah man whatever you prefer, love your videos and watching the progress you make on your bikes. I made a noob mistake by getting pretty much downhill tires cause they were on sale, (Maxxis minion DHF and Maxxis aggressor) thought I would’ve been riding more over the winter and need grippy tires, but these are overkill and way too grippy now in the summer lol they slow me down a ton. I’m using an XC bike after all.
We are too much like man! I Just looked at those two today!!! Was going to pull the trigger but $66.00 and $77.00 were a little steep. Thinking the aggressor i love the styling and thickness. Thanks for getting back to me on that man appreciate it. Hope they work out for you.

Hey brother if you are talking about the Schwalbes they are a 2.8....If you are riding the same GT I would not go over anything above a 2.6. Please let us know:) Thanks
I just got my nishiki bike today and I’m very happy with it. I commend you taking that bike out on the trails. I just found the GT aggressor and I’m in love with it I wish I would have gotten this one instead. I might keep the nishiki for commuting around the neighborhood and buy the GT strictly for trails what are your thoughts?
That sounds like a winner man! Congrats on both buys and thank you for viewing our channel! My GT is highly modified you may see in all the upgrade videos and new Update video, but just take it slow and maybe think of upgrading yourself sooner or later on the GT!!! Its really a great foundation, so perfect trail bike and Nishiki for the commuter, thank again for the views and hope you stick around!!!:)
GEARING man! You may look at a higher tooth count rear cassette. Either that or Look into a new budget fork? The front end will lighten up like 3 pounds if you get an air fork! Way easier to get the front off the ground. A new fork will run (air) you like $120ish Just gotta save up brother
Hey, you’ve tested a few budget bikes now - I’m going to put you on the spot… Of the bikes - Ike the Schwinnn Aksum and Ascension and the GT Aggressor Pro - which did you like the best out of the box (as-is) and which to you think has the most upside with upgrades? Thanks!
We are biased towards the GT because of our history. Right out of the box though, it would probably be the Axum DP medium frame. All three of the bikes make a good platform for upgrades for different reasons. It would be either the GT or the Axum because they have a free hub so you don't have to change out wheels to upgrade the drivetrain. The Ascension is a fun bike but needs more upgrades out of the box. Hope this helps you out some.
I’m looking at this bike at getting this bike from Dick’s Sporting Goods. There’s an option for the drivetrain between Shimano and microSHIFT that doesn’t change the price. What’s the difference between the two and which option do you recommend?
Hey brother, I would recommend the shimano because its more mainstream but I dont think there is much differences. They both have separate brake/shifter levers and work well, that is an important feature when it comes to upgrading due to being able to separate the two. I would opt for the shimano. Plus I hear shimano has a shortage right now so I would get something everyone cant if possible? Good luck with your search and hope you can get something soon man. Thank you for the question and finding us!!
Unfortunately they rivet/weld those stock cranks and chainrings together, making it virtually impossible to separate and reuse. My advice is watch the IXF Crankset video and see if it's something you are wanting to tackle. For $48 dollars I think it is a great budget upgrade.
Yes but they rub a little on the frame on the rear. If you are staying with tubes you can go 27.5 x 2.6 if you go tubeless 27.5 x 2.4 maybe 2.5. Hope this helps if it does please subscribe and give a thumbs up. Thanks
Ha ha the seat is a sucky seat! Very uncomfortable but I would look into the Silverado seat by WTB. That's what I ride and I love it! A subscriber sent it in so not sure on the price? But comfy 👍👍

Well, I took them out two days in a row of strenuous riding and punishment and no problems man! They are just amazing for the price, oh and they just went back down to $129.00? Check em out in the links department in the description. Thanks for the question dude!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS Hey, I have a GT Outpost Expert from 2016 and I'm interested in the ztz fork as well. I don't see a link in the description for them, though! Can you hook us up? Thanks! Hey brother did you not watch the video?? :) Anyways I said the hydraulic cylinder inside must of busted with all the harsh riding and started to leak fluid. It now is saggy but only the air side is working so we will have to take an in depth look:) But I wouldent worry too much man I got them and the whole 6months or so was riding very very hard and jumping the hell out of them!!! LOL Would still pick some up today of I needed some forks!
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS thank you, much appreciated. I am doin a budget, budget (LOL) upgrade on my 2015 GT Backwoods kinda following close to your Aggressor, but really don't want to spend much, cause at the same time I'm starting my half ass dream build. I seen you do ride pretty hard of my riding is pretty similar, just not as much jumping, but only cause the guys I'm riding with have not had much experience jumping, so we tend to not go to jump savy trails/parks etc. But we plan to and me being a former BMXer Racing n all, so was wondering if I should stick return the LUTU, maybe try one of the newer ones you've tested or the Manitou Markhor for $100 more, take my chances. Just looking for your opinion if one of your latest budget forks are a stand out fork over the others? Any info is appreciated and thanks for getting back, very cool.
Well I havent tried the Markhor because the crown is backwards!!! ha ha cant do ti man, now I would give you some insight to the X fusions I got but havent installed them yet. But supposedly they are the cats A** when it comes to a budget 27.5 fork. We will be installing them soon I hope and then I could give you some insight man:) Look at the newest GT upgrades update video so you can see em, and if its something you are interested in check out the affiliate link, the guys out of California and they got here quick, very good seller. But hope you can wait or hope you will check em out man? Thanks Dude!
Hey due here is a link, but I got these tires from a friend for $20.00! Couldent pass it up, they are great and i really couldent ask for more. If you are going to put them on a GT aggressor pro i would def recommend the 2.6!!!www.ebay.com/itm/Schwalbe-Rocket-Ron-LiteSkin-MTB-Tire-27-5-x-2-8-Folding-PaceStar-Compound/192575928322?epid=1356314369&hash=item2cd66b7802:g:v5kAAOSwFqJWomYa
Hey Bryan i actually got the schwalbe's from a friend who i gave $20!!! So he pretty much gave them to me, but I got a video coming out Friday I believe that is an awesome budget tire install/review. 2.6's! So please check it out man we would appreciate it. Just rode them today
Yo brotha you should really do a introduction video on riding your mountain bikes like what to do to your suspension on certain trails and gears and seating that would be pretty nice 😁/ I’d watch I’m still learning as well so it would help me too 😅
I just bought a Gt aggressor pro and I just started riding. Now when I do ride it the front tire feels flat and i feel like its slow.. I get so exhausted when I'm done riding. What upgrades should I do to to the bike to make it faster and easier/comfortable to ride?
Good question man, so Ricky I would look at a new fork, stem and maybe bars. The forks are coil that you used to and made of metal and are very heavy! When I upgraded mine to air, the difference was amazing! So forks for sure, then maybe a stem if the ride is uncomfortable, it will change your posture and put a lot less stress on you! Hope this helps man and hope you subbed! Thanks and make sure you tune in for our next budget bike!
9/16ths. Hope this helps and please be sure to watch tommorows new video of my new GT's upgrades and I also have a TEASER!!! I will introduce as well in the video! Thanks man and turn them notifications on if you are a subscriber please, you wont want to miss
I see those alot and love the sleek look plus the type of plastic they use.I can tell you the odyssey pedals are tight man even thought hey are a little heavy.
Got the 70mm, actually just ordered a new one ! A little less drop and more downhill like still budget of course, but the uno stem is great and will be throwing it on a new project soon.
Actually I have and I almost bought them, for the price its pretty cheap and the options are great but once I looked into similar priced ones I seen pictures of them breaking and it quickly deterred me! Just a little scary, the carbon is great and all but....Aluminum isnt bad in the weight department
They are not listed to run tubeless, but i will tell you i have put some seam sealer on my rims(factory) but i could not get it to hold air. Not sure if the problem was my rims leaking or the tires. But quick answer no. Thanks for the question man!
Love the name man! But yes they do. There are a few options you can do to quiet it down. Fine grit sand paper about 1000 or 2000 and or they will quiet down when you break em in. There really not bad. Thanks and hope you liked and subbed!!!:) Let me know if you go with it!
I believe I put 2 on there right below the stem. They help to take up that extra bit of slack. Yuo can put them on top of you want all about that comfort.
Nice bike! I’m thinking about buying this bike. What size would be good for me? I’m 5’7. I used to have a medium giant talon and it was kind of big. Thxs!
Well im 5'5" and I love my Medium. Its definitely a smaller cockpit and should suit you well if you dont want to over extend. Then maybe look at a new stem so you can really not reach way over your tire;)
WOLFTICK VIDEOS are you able to stand over the frame comfortably? Does the top of the frame touch your crotch? When I had my medium giant, I barely had any room.
WOLFTICK VIDEOS once I buy this bike, I wanted to replace the tires right away. What brand and size should I go with first. Getting new tires will be my first upgrade. Thxs!
Well depends on your budget but we have a whole series on budget tires with links with a new installment vidoe going up tommorow on Maxxis minion SS. We got Vittoria Barzo, Goodyear Escapes the Maxxis and in tommorows video there is a teaser! So be sure to watch brother!Perfect for you
Have you ever thought about running tubeless? I’d like to try it and we have the same bike and I’ve been getting hounded about making that adjustment. What are your thoughts? Do you plan on making that upgrade?
Well first of ll I get hounded constantly as well! But it is something I am going to do the proper way and the cheepest way possible. I have tried in the past to seal up rims and cut old tubes to use the stems but, never really works. And not only that but wanna be confident in it when im on a trail. I know they are a lot lighter and more responsive, alot less resistance. I will for sure check em out man! so if you dont have them by the time I do make sure you checkout the video!:) Thanks for viewing man!!!
Thanks Ryan i was hoping to give a descent amount of info without being to boring. I watched it back a few times and im glad its getting the amount of comments and views thus far!!! Thank you for commenting, hope you liked and subscribed! Later buddy
Cool dude thats awesome that you have been following along! You will like the next one im working on for sure about the 180mm rotors and cassette, be sure to check it out man, Later!
Mine does not, but I do have a new groupset. Maybe it is your lack of tension on the derailleur. The stock setup is a little weak but maybe look at a better deraileur??
I've seen a few videos on this bike and it sounds like it will fit me well. But, as I'm watching your video for the first time and seeing these upgrades. I'm wondering how much money u spent on all the upgrades and thinking do I buy a more expensive bike and not have to worry about upgrades. I'm not well off so this bike would fit my budget. Thanks for the reply. Also great video.
Well Frank I think it comes down to the question of, do you want to work on your bike or not. We find a tremendous amount of satisfaction in working on our bikes, but then again we have to create content as well anyway. The Aggressor Pro gets changed out frequently on parts due to testing and reviewing but I think it is currently at about $1100 dollars all in including the bike purchase. You would be hard pressed to find a better performing bike for the money unless you find a great deal on a used mid tier bike or something like that. Let us know either way what you decide. Thanks man👍
Great videos man! Quick question though what length are the cables for the breaks? Also the kit they sell to bleed them comes with very clear step by step pictures!
800mm/1500mm. Oh and thank you I hope to be getting a video out soon on the bleeding procedure! Its gonna be budget buddy, syringe from tractor supply and aquarium tubing! Thanks for the comment! Be on the lookout.
This is for the cartridge i think thats what youre looking for yes? did it work? www.amazon.com/gp/product/B019L7B6LE/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o04_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
In this video I had Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.8 tires. They rubbed on the rear though so we don't recommend going 2.8. I would go 2.6 or less for sure. Thanks
Man you really need to try before you buy, on the size. But I know that is not always an option, so I can tell you that I'm 5'5" and have the M and I like it. I know people that are 5'10" that also like the M but I would probably go L if I were 5'10". Remember I like a bigger bike so take that for what it's worth man. Let me know what you go with. Thanks
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I appreciate your input 🙏, I've gone with a medium on 29s , I've had so many conflicting advice from people. I have returns policy so alls good
The brakes the GT comes with are mechanical shimano brakes and tektro 160mm rotors. I now have the hydraulic with 180mm Clarks rotors. If you havent watched the budget hydraulic brakes video please check it out you may be interested in them. Oh and please make sure to watch tommorows video its going to be the GT's new upgrades and i got a special TEASER!!!! New budget part for the GT, thanks man and turn them notifications on if you are a subscriber, you wont wanna miss!
Been up on the fence buying the same forks for my budget build and love your whole setup. Guess I'll pull the trigger and get'em! Great videos and super informative. Did you keep or upgrade the steering bearings ?
WEll I upgraded the bearing s but at the time all i could find were ball bearings. I recently ordered a sealed bearing kit but...Wrong size:( Very cool of you to watch the video and comment brother! The forks are great and I urge you to please watch the new fork video and update video!!! Thanks man you may like the Lutu forks!
I think we started talking about the fork at around the 8:00 mark. They are ZTZ Kashima forks, but I don't think they have these anymore. I explain the stickers in the video as well. We have several videos on budget forks and here is our ratings video. Remember there are time stamps in the description. th-cam.com/video/dHpfOEbwkAo/w-d-xo.html
Yeah man they get the job done especially for the price, and the brakes are amazing too! Make sure you checkout the amazon builds they will give you some ideas maybe!?Thanks again man
Hey man had a guy ask that exact question when it came to his 2.5 tire, he runs the exact same tube and rim and he sais no problem. I run a wider tire so i had to buy new tubes but you should be fine according to his swap.
For sure man, glad you enjoyed and really checkout the bucklos crankset, I have been using it on the Sandstorm and it feels good quality (if you are looking at a 1X tapered crankset) Also here is an affilate link to a crank puller set you will need LOL Good luck and thank you for reaching out and watching!! Hey brother well thank you for finding us and commenting. Hope your build goes as well as ours has ha ha! Stay safe and happy trails man👍👍
J is one dude you don’t wanna mess with, anyone with cauliflower ears is a dangerous person to have a altercation
🙏🙏🙏 Thanks man!!! Very true lol:)
Thanks, I just bought an aggressor and appreciate the knowledge.
Yes sir, thank you for the comment. We have a few of the updates!!
All kidding aside, very awesome that you and dad are combining skills and making these videos together; this will provide you with digital and personal memories for many years long after he’s gone. So awesome you get to share the laughs and time.
Remember, these ARE the good ol’ days.
Came for the bike review stayed for the cauli flower ear 🤙🏾🙌🏾
I recommend watching Seth's bike hacks for bleeding hydraulic brakes :)
Hey I appreciate your advice, but did you not think that I did a good enough job bleeding my brakes lol?
Been watching your vids on the budget upgrades. Great content and like how you keep it real. New sub! Thanks for what you do with emphasis on keeping a sensible budget
Cool man i appreciate that. Alot of people don't understand that for some reason, i get a lot of why budget? Why not just a $600.00 fork? I'm glad you get it, and thank you. Be on the lookout for the next rotor and cassette build it involves budget tools to do the job and parts! Let me know what you think about the receipt (you will understand after you watch it). Thanks again man and im so glad you subbed!!!
Bike is lookin good brotha! Nice hit on that table top jump too! Big air 🤙
Yeah son! i knew youd like that form!LOL thanks man just put them brakes on can not wait to ride.Later
Love the intro, I'm definitely upgrading to a gt from a Schwinn.
Hell yeah man,its a hell of a bike:) Checkout or latest upgrade updates:) you will enjoy. Thanks Robert!
the new schwinn bikes aren that bad tho
@VitalFM The Newer Schwinn and Mongoose bikes are pretty good!👍😎
Awesome videos man! Juliet picked up an aggressor pro and pretty new to mountain biking, exited to use these videos to build my bike up, thank you
Cool Marlon could always another GT rider! Glad you are watching, especially since yall got the same bike. If you are ever interested in a part Ive put on my bike, make sure and check out the description below, the links wont cost extra but they will help me! Thanks alot for viewing and hope yall subscribed!!!
GT Aggressor, my favorite bike so far, love the content man!
Appreciate ya brother, thanks for watching and hope you watch the new one as well!!
I have Gt Avalanches Elite, Pedal and tires being upgraded and I’m loving it in downhill track
Awesome man, we would love a GT Avalanche 😀
Nice bike so far. I have the stock suspension forks on my aggressor expert.. definitely my next upgrade would be the air forks.
Great video I also have a AggressorI, follow all of your upgrades just change a few things around. You and your dad are funny!!!
Hey thanks for watching! Im glad you appreciate our humor;) Hope you liked and subbed, thanks for the views man and riding GT!
Finger oil should burn off pretty quick won’t make a huge difference
I relate to that first part too much 😭🤣
Ha Ha you just have a son named Jeremiah!!
Hope you liked and subscribed!!!

68-72MM That is a universal pretty much.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS thanks for the reply dude...
as long as it's the same width I don't see why not eh? I think I might have put a size smaller one on the rebuild for free for a friend... so far no issues.

Hey I'm looking to do the same brake upgrade. Do you know the length the brake line was? Or do you have a link for the one you purchased? Thanks so much
For sure man, I believe it was 800mm front and 1400mm rer. I looked on amazon and they are crazy prices, we have bought a few pairs since on ebay, here is an affiliate link and would appreciate if you used it:) Thanks!ebay.us/uMMIKR
Originally from Arkansas but live right outside of Memphis in MS and just bought my first MTB a month ago, been following you since you started and would like to get together and ride sometime. You need to come tp Memphis and check out the Trails at Stanky Creek bike park there.
Thats awesome that you have been following since day 1! Thank you very much and yes lets get together for sure dude! Imma look into that brake bleeding video and stanky creek bike park. Been wanting to go to a bike park in Rogers? Im sure you know about, but anyway man thanks again and hit me up from time to time.
When changing the front crank. Do you have to change the cassette also?
Hey brother, no you do not. You will most likely have to change the length of the chain if you wish to convert to a 1X8. We do have a video on how to size your MTB chain too:)
Im looking into buying the Uno steam , but would you have to buy the Raceface cap set for the steam to fit?
No brother any 28.6 cap you have will fit man. As long as it is a 28.6 stem. Which the uno is
having trouble figuring out whats the bottom bracket size. i have the exact same bike as yours and my crank is clicking.

Can you add tbe forks in the dicriptiin
Checkout the ZTZ description link, maybe in there? We will check it out tonight. Thanks
What would you say is a good replacement stem that's shorter, where I am able to still keep the original bars?

@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS no problem man, enjoy the content.
This bike is a 1x8 new correct? How do you think it would do for just romping around on the streets bunny hops Manuel's curb Cuts stuff like that
Hey Joe, the GT aggressor pro is not a 1x8 new, its actually a 3x8:( I think the GT would be a great hybrid or commuter.
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS thank you for the reply I really appreciate it I'm going to subscribe now
Hey man nice bike!

What size did you buy the tire? I'm confused as Amazon doesn't have 27.5 X 2.10.
Hey brother if you are talking about the Schwalbes they are a 2.8....If you are riding the same GT I would not go over anything above a 2.6. Please let us know:) Thanks

yo bro i have the same bike as you but black i just wanted to know how can i make any good upgrades to this bike so i could wheelie on it easier?
GEARING man! You may look at a higher tooth count rear cassette. Either that or Look into a new budget fork? The front end will lighten up like 3 pounds if you get an air fork! Way easier to get the front off the ground. A new fork will run (air) you like $120ish Just gotta save up brother

Hey, you’ve tested a few budget bikes now - I’m going to put you on the spot…
Of the bikes - Ike the Schwinnn Aksum and Ascension and the GT Aggressor Pro - which did you like the best out of the box (as-is) and which to you think has the most upside with upgrades?
Nice bike brother! THAT HAT THO! 💯🔥🔥
Hell yeah son, knew you would like it! And thanks been putting a lot of hours on that old bird!
Can I use the stock cranks with the oval chainring
Unfortunately they rivet/weld those stock cranks and chainrings together, making it virtually impossible to separate and reuse. My advice is watch the IXF Crankset video and see if it's something you are wanting to tackle. For $48 dollars I think it is a great budget upgrade.
Oh I figured that after a close look I wish they would just use the kind with bolts but thanks for responding.
No problem man, was let down as well when I seen it:(

Hi...tires that wide will fit with the original fork?
Yes but they rub a little on the frame on the rear. If you are staying with tubes you can go 27.5 x 2.6 if you go tubeless 27.5 x 2.4 maybe 2.5. Hope this helps if it does please subscribe and give a thumbs up. Thanks
Thanks a lot

I just bought a Gt aggressor pro and I just started riding. Now when I do ride it the front tire feels flat and i feel like its slow.. I get so exhausted when I'm done riding. What upgrades should I do to to the bike to make it faster and easier/comfortable to ride?
Good question man, so Ricky I would look at a new fork, stem and maybe bars. The forks are coil that you used to and made of metal and are very heavy!
Oh and the rear hydraulic line is 1500mm, it is the shortest option they have so im going to shorten it and maybe both in the next video as well!

Ola Que size es the tire
In this video I had Schwalbe Rocket Ron 2.8 tires. They rubbed on the rear though so we don't recommend going 2.8. I would go 2.6 or less for sure. Thanks
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS gracias 👍 Dios te bendiga
I'm 5,10 looking to get a G T Pro, what size frame M or L
Man you really need to try before you buy, on the size. But I know that is not always an option, so I can tell you that I'm 5'5" and have the M and I like it. I know people that are 5'10" that also like the M but I would probably go L if I were 5'10". Remember I like a bigger bike so take that for what it's worth man. Let me know what you go with. Thanks
@@WOLFTICKVIDEOS I appreciate your input 🙏, I've gone with a medium on 29s , I've had so many conflicting advice from people. I have returns policy so alls good
Great to hear and a M with a 29er should fit ya good brother, Thanks and please update
What size are the brakes
What’s the name of the forks?
I think we started talking about the fork at around the 8:00 mark. They are ZTZ Kashima forks, but I don't think they have these anymore. I explain the stickers in the video as well. We have several videos on budget forks and here is our ratings video. Remember there are time stamps in the description.

Did the chain ring or the cranks come with the bolts to mount them to each other
Yes they both did and both sets of nuts had locktite on them. Not a bad deal man! Thanks for the question Big Hal hope you liked and subbed brother.
I have the same bike and bought all new parts and I forgot about a new crankset and brakes and need something cheap and those look good
Yeah man they get the job done especially for the price, and the brakes are amazing too! Make sure you checkout the amazon builds they will give you some ideas maybe!?Thanks again man
Hey I’m new to all this, so if I want to get at least 2.4 tires for my aggressor pro can I still run the same tubes from the stock tires or no?
Hey man had a guy ask that exact question when it came to his 2.5 tire, he runs the exact same tube and rim and he sais no problem. I run a wider tire so i had to buy new tubes but you should be fine according to his swap.
WOLFTICK VIDEOS awesome thanks so much for the reply man👍🏽
Do I need any special tools to do these upgrades? I haven't done any upgrades to my gt yet but want to make some upgrades. Thanks for the video!
This also includes a BB tool you will need;) ebay.us/rhy2sV
