Hi Lucy they can do all this for a football match , but not sort out the drug problem on the strip 😢, came over last month and was my first time and loved it , but hated the strip with people wanting you to drink in there bar and when I said no thank you ,they said do you want Charlie,green or pills , definitely want's sorted out 👊

It’s an absolute disgrace that these plans need to be brought in. I was in Benidorm when Spain won the Euros , it was fantastic and not a hint of trouble.

Great video. I was at the 2010 match when Spain won and it was a fantastic atmosphere with babies and grandnas joining in the fun. I hope the English fans don't let us down. Some of the behaviour on the strip a couple of weeks ago was dusgusting. 😢

@@Guapaahi I know the vast majority are and it's been a great atmosphere, but a big crowd stopped a car in the strip and started banging the roof and knocking a motorbike over... They got a shock when the guy got out and punched six of them! 😅 Then I drove down one afternoon...not on a match day, and some idiot in an England flag thought it'd be funny to throw a banger at my car! You don't see Spanish kids behaving like that. 🤔😠
@sharonbell1094 I'm afraid the Spanish do bang on cars I've seen it when 2 Spanish teams play In the town I lived in previously They danced in the fountain bumped cars Police watched Then everyone went home During the lock diwn when only one was allowed our I saw 2 people together in Union Jack Tshirts both Spanish British do get blamed for a lot when it's not them
@@Guapaahi Of course, there are morons everywhere, (although I'm all for dancing in fountains!😂 ) but I didn't see any trouble here when the Netherlands lost to Spain. They were shaking hands with Spanish people and wishing English people good luck for the next day. Maybe because I'm close to Benidorm where many of the English fans get a bit too drunk, but some do give them a bad name...😏 I'll be going in the park with the Spanish rather than venturing onto the Strip tomorrow. Happy for either team to win. 🤗🇪🇸🏴

Hi Lucy There are, less than 3400 British registered to live in Benidorm 1500 Irish 7% of the population ( if you are resident make sure you are on Padron Town Hall receives money from central government for everyone on Padron) Once Benidorm gets 75000 residents they will receive 2 million extra funds from Madrid ( i am informed)
We want to go meet some friends at the bulldog but getting scared to fingerscrossed everything will be ok
I still find it mind boggling that 22 guys kicking a ball about requires such major planning and expense.
That said, wish I could be there on Sunday night. Enjoy!

No trouble tonight I trust for England v Ireland, with it being 12th July. I guess the game in Norwich might have been a bit difficult to get to for that one. The Irish supporters were wanting a chance to go to Wembley, listening to some football reports from there.
A friend who owned a bar on Costa Del Sol had a regular Spanish customer on the night that Northern Ireland won the match against Spain in the world Cup the bar was crammed with Northern Ireland supporters. They were obviously celebrating their team winning when the regular Spanish customer arrived into the bar my friend was worried that his arrival could be a problem but the guy started to buy drinks for the NI fans. He ended up sitting with them for hours and everyone had a great night. Hopefully no matter what the result is everyone just enjoy the night out with no problems.

I saw a video from Benidorm during the World Cup and there seemed to be some of the usual heavy handed policing English football fans have come to expect from the Spanish police. I just hope I don’t see riot police with batons on the streets again. The problem is that Spanish Police don’t like people singing in the street and we all know how much us Brits love a sing song.

We didn't realise the football would be on when we booked. Just hope it goes off with my o trouble. The Spanish police tend to be heavy handed to much riot gear shields soon had they see a few England fans walking up the street.its the bars that will be packed & could be a problem.l will be on a lounger at the beach till it's over ,husband in a sports bar.lets hope there is no trouble.behave your selves England don't let a few nutters show us all up.
