Bro I used to wade or park the boat during the negative tides in the winter and hit all of the oysters bars on the flats and get dozens of those mud crabs in just 15-20 minutes.

Always place the rocks back in the spot you found them protect all those micro organisms that the crab feed on

Hey, thank you for the video. I am new to Tampa, and I am trying to find good places to fish. Do you my any chance remember where this bridge was located?

Hey, I’m land locked, so can you do a video on how to read the tides and weather to determine the best times to fish. I’m tired of going out fishing, only to come back empty handed. Exhausted hours and no fish, with the exception of trash fish. Please help!

Great video, thanks! I sure would like to fish that bridge. Is that in Pinellas Co?

Muds get as big as stones, you just have to pick areas that are unmolested. We get mud crabs that are so big they make 4 baits, 2 claws and cut the body in half.

I've found that using a hook more like a 6/0 to 8/0 bass worm hook or live bait (whatever you have laying around) hook is better. You just have to fish a little heavier line and set the hook harder.

That Pistol Shrimp is not to be taken lightly. It has the most powerful punch of the Animal Kingdom. I’ve seen them punch through a wet suit and draw blood. Their punch is so fast it actually boils the water around the giant claw. They are meant to punch through shells.

Mud crabs are the best sheep and drum bait. Those pistol shrimp are good bait too.
