  • As a Transgender woman, I took my first testosterone blocker in December of 2017 and Estrogen in February of 2018. I have experienced a lot of changes physically, emotionally and psychologically... if you're about to start HRT or have been on your journey, I hope you gain value from this video!

Really good one. There was a lot to like here but as you say at the end the collage was an extra push, that was a nice touch; thank you for taking the time to put that in 👍😄

Thank you, so many times over, for continuing to make your videos. You were one of the first people I found on here two and a half years ago when I was first getting started and you were such an inspiration for me when trying to decide how to move forward. I'm really thrilled to say that people are finding my videos now and saying the same things to me and it feels amazing to be able to give that back to our community. So again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for everything you put back out there for us. 💖

Thanks for the video Kate. For me, the most perceptive part was near the end when you spoke about mental health. I suffered dysphoria from childhood - some of my earliest memories I now realize are memories of dysphoria - Julia Serano says this is quite common. I hoped that transition would "fix" me - that by finally becoming the person I always knew I was inside, all of my other "stuff" would magically disappear. They didn't. I still live with depression, with anxiety - and, frankly, for a while I was angry about it ... why didn't this work?! However, I feel that transition - the introspection required, indeed the mental strength to actually go through with transition - gave me the tools, the strength, to better recognize and seek help for my other mental issues. Transition didn't fix the problems, but at least now I feel like I understand myself well enough to begin to work on them.
