Ha ha, just as expected! From my personal experience from listening to both the variants from outside the vehicle, the Thar Diesel sound more clean and silent compared to the petrol variants which sounds more ticky ticky in stock form!!

More over the diesel is safer during long storage, the petrol over time will produce cancerous solids in the fuel system. Had high regard for the petrol, it feels great from the inside but had to give up to the friendly nature of the diesel!!

MAHINDRA HAS MADE DEFECTIVE PETROL TGDI ENGINE IN XUV 700 PETROL .
There are more than 30 cases in known contacts with failed Petrol engine within 2 months of purchase. Either piston rings are worn out or Head valve inside cylinder head is defective.
TH-camrs should research enough before making any videos. My petrol engine also failed at 5k kms .
Engine oil was getting consumed internally due to faulty head valve.
Shame on M&M to develop faulty petrol tgdi engine without any quality control checks . People have invested more than 25 lalhs on xuv 700 and getting engine failures.
Same 2.0 litre engine is used in Thar .
