Look at you go with your SMS short code and all! Very nice. Such a fundamental pass that is often executed so poorly. Thank you for the great details. Osss!
Its funny that after 10+years of Jiu-Jitsu and experimenting with every type guard pass there is, I have found my favorite and most effective pass to do at the black belt level is a variation of this pass from the feet or the knees. I do my arms a little differently to shut down certain guards that has been working really well. Here is a variation shown on the knees at the 3:00 mark th-cam.com/video/8Ocd-6TqHH4/w-d-xo.html
hi! I'm brazilian. toreando is someting like pass a guard like a bull (touro) the main thing about torear is using your head against the opponent's chest. ps: our ''ando'' in portuguease is just like your ''ing'' witch means that you are doing something (touro + ando = bull + ing) but bulling means another thing
Quick question, i have been watching you for a while and have been learning a lot from you, but why does your black belt have a white strip instead of a red one? I thought you were a teacher from the way you explain everything in such detail.
Brilliant competitor and teacher but ridiculous to suggest that there was no such thing as competitive BJJ until 10 years or so prior to this video. Keenan has no respect for the history and legacy of BJJ's past greats from Brazil let alone the likes of Prof. Jigoro Kano, Kimura, the masters of Kosen Judo, etc. who pioneered gi-based grappling.
Keenan is the man...insanely good at teaching.
Amazing teaching and detail Keenan - thank you so much Osss
Great explanation and tutorial, explains the purpose behind grips and how they relate to mechanics really clearly.
Wow, that's impressive.
Sophistication in every detail.
I'd love to train at your Gym

Hi Keenan, to long explanation, but technically well
I think he's explaining for both beginners and advanced alike
The best in this technique are the Brazilians Rodolfo Vieira and Leandro Lo. Brazilians are the best in jiu jitsu.
Naaaa
he calls himself "america's professor of groundfighting" lol
Over coaching. Too much talking.
