Generally, they have their ecological niches and so they would compete among each other and the lions would compete, but more in an attempt to outhunt the others and force them out of the region, so the Pokemon would most likely kill each other first and there would be lions leftover.
However, if we run by the stipulations Connor sets forth, in the games, Earthquake hits everything in the engagement and would thus kill hundreds if not thousands of lions per use.

I agree with schlatt about the Pokémon v lions thing, if it's a battle them the Pokémon lose, if it's a war, no doubt the Pokémon win, yes most of them will die, but the ones that can fly and have ranged attacks will survive because they can fly to a place where the lions aren't, rest(even with scouts who stay awake while others sleep), do a fly by and repeat until eventually all the lions die

Even if we go by game logic the pokemon win though, PP doesn't matter if all the pokemon are wild and either way, if we treated this like a giant multi-battle earthquake alone would kill all the lions on the field.

I agree that the pokemon would win, because they discounted the fact that in sword and shield there's a cave of gigantimaxed pokemon without trainers. At least if it's like a war they would win. If it's a battle in some kind of magically enclosed area where the flying ones can't get away to rest and regain their pp then nah.

Only if the Pokemon worked together. Generally, they have their ecological niches and so they would compete among each other and the lions would compete, but more in an attempt to outhunt the others and force them out of the region, so the Pokemon would most likely kill each other first and there would be lions leftover.
However, if we run by the stipulations Connor sets forth, in the games, Earthquake hits everything in the engagement and would thus kill hundreds if not thousands of lions per use.
