Useful info. Must get some of those plugins! One extra tip though: just unplug the Touchscreen (smartphone thingy) this all works fine without it and that stupid fragile USB-C plug (it is not even a proper USB-C connector electrically) is a lot less likely to get damaged if it is not plugged in. I'm here because my second Touchscreen has given up the ghost and I was desperate to get some work done while I wait for another warranty replacement to arrive from China!
I have the snapmaker artisan which has dual nozzles. It right now printing well with Luban, but working remotely (the printer is at the other end of my house several stairs away) is a pain. I also want have remote control with camera while i am not at home. So i am looking for a solution and octoprint look promising, but i dont know if cura works with artisan dual nozzle printing.
I'd like to ask what other people here are asking too. It isn't clear here how you physically connected the Pi to the snap. What cables? Which Port?? Please.
This was awesome and the only one I could find for the A350! Thanks! Only thing I couldn't figure out was what plugin file "Homepage" is? Didn't see that in the list of plugins. BTW, does anyone know of a way to remotely control the Snapmaker enclosure lights?
Thanks for the shout out guys! I'm glad the profiles are working well for you! :)

Hello
i want ask how you connect your snapmaker to Octopi ? what type of cable and which port in snapmaker?
thank you
use the mini usb port on the snapmaker
@@JTSMW thanks
Hello. Have you used Octolapse plugin on snapmaker 2.0? If so, can you share info about it?
yes we have. the setup was very straight forward. we just followed the usual instructions like other octolapse installations.
@@IOLlama Already solved it, thank you anyway

can't find this answer also, terrible video skipping this FIRST step
I got mine working with the mini-usb port on the snapmaker controller
@@JTSMW It would be good if this was in the video - I was strugglint to connect too - didn't even know there was a mini-USB port on the contoller :)
Hi, which Port on Snapmaker Controller you use to connect the Octopi to Snapmaker?
mini usb
I've noticed that OctoPi wont automatically apply the Snapmakers Z Offset value. Have you entered any script into the OctoPi to correct this?
are you referring to bed leveling?
@@IOLlama Yes I am. Also, thank you for the video, it was incredibly helpful in getting the OctoPi setup.
@@rdhellings AFAIK you can use the M420 S command in your Cura profile to restore bed leveling
@@rdhellings but testing again, it seems like bed leveling is on even without this command

Thanks for the kind words, there is a GPIO plugin that can help with anything external: plugins.octoprint.org/plugins/enclosure/
Goood👍👍
