I find switch sports super fun, but man y'all coulda added actual single player content, the sports are deep enough but this should've been so much more
Honestly, if you get the game on sale physically or pre-owned, this game's worth it, especially if we keep periodically getting updates. Golf and Bowling kinda hold the top spots still, though. They're the most fun to try online. Plus it's a fun fanily game for those nor exactly quick enough/too intimidated (somehow) for Mario Kart or Mario Party The only things I find wrong are that 100 pin bowling isn't a thing, and that my dad was playfully upset for a minute when he couldn't throw the bowling ball backwards. Dad also misses baseball, but uh, I got a Wii U once competitive Sm4sh was gaining traction and still have it for those missing sports if we ever find it worth it to play. Plus, they may he dirt cheap now, with resale focus from that gen being on the 3DS due to its versatile modding potential, so I mean- That and with how easy hacking the vWii is on it, there's not really much reason for as much complaints as there are. I think most just stem from "Why aren't they the Miis with no limbs why do we have these ugly cheracters ;~;" Which I mean Release some *male* clothes that aren't dress clothes in an update for once and maybe more guys would play the game lmao

I’d switch 2 comes with switch sports resort packaged in with open world wushu island exploration to get to sports (and a quick menu for convenience) and it kills the sports mates, it will be a dream come true
When they introduced basketball, I was thinking oh boy that means I’ve got a go for the rewards for basketball now but nope as soon as I turned on the game, there is no reward. I’ve already gone every single item that’s in the game from playing Nintendo switch sports online, I got the completion award, which is a achievement for your character name and still nothing no points for rewarded so what a complete joke to me but at least I don’t have to worry about having to play the game every week until I get all the items again
I'm surprised they never added Baseball esp. with Japan winning the WBC in 2023 and the biggest name in MLB Baseball today from Japan. It's a no brainer. Dam shame Nintendo just doesn't get it. Wii Baseball Homerun derby is the jam.
Shouldve been an island. Wii Sports had biking, flying around the island, bridge battles, and more but instead its confined to little sport area in some city.
After two years, my friend and I went back to this game to play Golf and Basketball that were added in the time since we last played. Neither are fun. This whole game reeks of missed potential.
No it ain't at all, this game has less content than the latter and just isn't as good as the first two games. Please keep playing those games instead, they still hold up incredibly well today!
tbf wii sports resort also suffered from repetitive content, with several sports being high score modes and power crusing, canoeing, and wakeboarding existing in the same game for Some Reason™ (along with power cruising and cycling) it's honestly not as bad as some people say it is, and it's really fun with friends since every sport except golf can be played simultaneously. it is admittedly light on content compared to the other games in the series, but i've played it for two years without getting bored of it
I still wish we had ported versions of Wii sports resort and the Wii Mario kart! island flyover and jet skis! But also, the switch Mario kart graphics make me motion sick, Wii Mario kart is the only way to play!
I think if they gonna do anymore updates to this game… it’ll prolly be to add in more drip items/sports gear for the Basketball Sport they dropped back in the 9th of this month 🤔
