This #centenary year, India: A Story in the Making pays a heartfelt tribute to Mohammed Rafi.
This episode has been nothing short of a #journey - #immersing myself in #rafi Sahab’s #songs , and spending time with his grandson Rizwan and his wife Sabakat, who live in #london and run East London Kitchens.

It was a meeting full of warmth, delicious food, and stories that lingered in the air long after.

A verse in Surah an Nisa 1-11 reads

So therefore there should be no conflict in anyone’s mind for the dedication and affection shown by Rafi Sahab when singing bhajans, praising the Almighty and that is a testament to that. After all there is One God but there are different paths to worship the One who is above all else and we can all show our love for everyone’s faith, because ultimately we are one, created from a single soul.

Loveena, Correct me if i'm wrong i guess Rizwan's mum is still alive and she is the oldest family member of Rafi sahab still alive if you could have got her to speak about Rafi Sahab she could have had many anecdotes to share about Rafi Sahab.
